Holiday Update!

For those buying from the store: I want to make sure all your purchases get to you before the holidays, so I'm letting everyone know that orders should be placed BEFORE DECEMBER 15TH if you want to receive them by Christmas.
For those who want to become patrons: to get stickers or buttons for December, you need to sign up ON OR BEFORE NOVEMBER 30TH.
For those who are already patrons: please indicate the stickers or buttons you wish to receive for this month as soon as possible. The longer it takes to get all the requests back, the longer it takes for me to mail everyone's rewards.
And lastly, all the coming soon buttons are actually stocked, I just haven't had time to take product pics and update the listings due to starting a new job, dealing with inclement weather, new roommates, and gearing up for the holidays! they'll be updated soon, but in the mean time the items ARE stocked, and your order will be shipped within a couple days of its purchase.

New Goals
Posted 10 years agoUpdated the Patreon with a bunch of new goals today. Future items include but will not be limited to: mugs, charms, totes and t-shirts! I’m also going to get started on that calendar idea as soon as we get back from cousin’s wedding at the end of the month, so hopefully I’ll have those up in the shop by mid November- just in time for Holiday gifts!
Lastly, patrons are almost finished voting in the new designs for this month, so we’re going to have a new morph for one of the existing species, and a new species up in the shop soon. These will be added as both stickers and buttons, and more of the old designs will be released as buttons as well. I’m thinking I can do two old design buttons along with two new design buttons every month until we’re caught up.
If you want to see all this new stuff get added sooner of course, now would be a great time to sign up for the Patreon. There are two new pledge levels with alternate rewards, so new and old patrons should check those out. We have less than a week left in the month of October, so get on board today and get your awesome in the mail!

Calendars?
Posted 10 years agoI suddenly want to do a calendar for the shop, but I don't yet have enough heart snake designs to do one based off of that. What I do have is two real snakes, a light box, and the ability to make or find tiny props. Would anyone be interested in something like this?New Patreon Support Options!

Lots of updates, and an extention on the reward promotion
Posted 10 years agoAdded buttons on pre-order to the store. Right now the boa, corn snake, normal ball python and albino ball python are available. The other designs will be added over the next couple of months, so if the one you want isn’t up yet, don’t worry. It will be available soon! I’m also working on the sticker sheet, so that should be up in a few days as well. I’m not going to give away what it is just yet, but I will say that I think this one will have seasonal availability only, so once they’re gone, they’re gone until next year!
On the Facebook page I’ve added a Storenvy app, so now you can make purchases right from the page. I’m also working on setting up one of those Facebook page like discounts, so we’ll see how that goes.
Boa stickers and the Patreon exclusive stickers have both been ordered, and are on the way, but because of and ordering quirk, I have one last special promotion. Sticker mule only lets me order in increments of ten, but I have fifteen Patreon supporters who’re getting stickers this month. To make sure everyone got one I had to order twenty, which leaves me with 5 left over. So, the next five people to sign up for my Patreon will ALSO get the exclusive Halloween themed supporter sticker! This is your last chance to get it, because I will not be reprinting them, and they will not be available in the shop.
Last but not least, when I have the sticker sheets and buttons, I’ll add some new reward options for the Patreon for those who would like to become a patron, but aren’t interested in the 3x3 vinyl round stickers. Posted 10 years agoHUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! Thanks to some VERY GENEROUS Patreon contributors, we’ve blown completely past the sticker sheet goal, and are now only $2 away from buttons! TWO DOLLARS GUYS! Let’s try and get it before midnight!
With at least one new product available in the shop, and a second one looming, I’m going to start retooling the reward options in a few days to included more levels (and more options for existing levels). If you were wanting to sign up, but not into the current rewards, check back in a bit. I’m also going to be talking with a local printer about costs for t-shirt and hoodie orders, so when I have an estimate I can add more milestone goals.

We missed hitting the two design goal for August, but I have a special challenge for September: If we can make it to the next goal before the end of the month, one of the new designs for October will be a fall/Halloween themed sticker awarded exclusively to my patreon supporters! For those who don’t know what Patreon is (no, it's not an eeveelution), it’s a website where you can contribute to artists to help support them as they create content, and in exchange you get rewarded with all sorts of goodies! Kind of like Kickstarter, only instead of having a huge funding goal for a big, one time project, it’s on-going, monthly funding for a continuous endeavor.
My goals with this Patreon is to expand my online store, Lizard Lovables http://lizardlovables.storenvy.com/ , and bring you new products every month. Everything from dragons to chickens, pokemon to pythons, and as a supporter, YOU get to help decide what direction the shop expands in. Vote on new designs, watch livestreams of the creation process, and get free stuff featuring your favorites! There’s many donation levels, starting as low as $1/month!

In light of Dragoneer's most recent bullshittery, I will be nuking my FA account by the end end of next week. I had already moved most of my updates to tumblr and Weasyl, but I had left the old content here for people not migrating to enjoy.
However, in light of the change in site ownership, not to mention the extremely shady way in which that was handled, I now feel my original content is no longer safe to host here. If you would still like to follow my art updates, I will refer you to my weasyl and tumblr accounts:

There's not gonna be a lot of digital art updates here for the next few weeks (tablet does not currently fit in my lap and when it does there will be newborn that needs attending to), but I have been working on this little side project for the last week or so. Posted 11 years agoHey guys, I'm considering opening up an etsy (or someplace similar) store and selling my crochet stuff out of it. If I do, what sort of things would you like to see regularly stocked in it? Choices might include, but are not limited to: plush toys, wearables, dice or hand bags, etc. Any thoughts?
*Note, I would not yet be doing ANY custom orders. I would like to see how the store does first before adding on the extra work it would take for that and if there is even a market for this stuff.

Holiday commission and sort of update post
Posted 12 years agoHey guys! It's been a while over here I know. Sorry to leave you all floating like that for a bit. A lot of stuff happened one thing right after another including moving to a new place then finding out we're gonna have another baby! Exciting, but also left me with very little spoons to deal with shit online. I finally got some energy back and I'm slowly trying to work back into the swing of things. I want to really thank the people who have outstanding commissions, you guys have been patient and supportive of me while I work through this stuff and I can't say how much that's been a great help.
For those of you who are interested in a commission: I have a few outstanding full color works that I would like to get through before I take anymore of those, but I could really use the extra cash for the holidays. Between unforeseen bills, new baby on the way, hubby's job being dumb with his hours and Christmas we're pinchin' pennies left and right. I would really love to do some quick sketch or ink stuff- you get it quick, it’s cheap, and lots of little 5 or 10 dollar pieces add up, so even if you don’t have a lot of cash consider getting a friend some cool art for Christmas or even treating yourself guilt free :) Check out my commission pricing guide on the front page of my gallery, and contact me via email if you're wanting a commission!

I'm hoping this can be a place to consolidate all of my art rather than have two separate account for DA and FA but it will take some time to set up.
