Any one know of a relatively inexpensive place to get sheets of cell cast acrylics from in the Coeur D' Alene/Spokane area? Hell, I'd go farther out as long as shipping doesn't totally screw me over. Trying to go a DIY route for building an aquarium to save money, but it's quickly proving to be to be just as problematic...

Need to be able to keep my order under $200 total including any shipping in order for it to be worth while over buying a new tank.

Okay, what the honest fuck am I doing wrong. I want to add texture packs to SAI so I can fuck a round with them and get something with a nice pattern for 's commission which i have been TERRIBLY putting off already because of this (and all the tattoo's. Damn it, I suck so bad at free handing repetitive patterns).

So I look up a couple of tut's on how to do it and it seems relatively straight forward... till I get to the point where I have to modify the conf file. Windows can't freaking open it. Does anyone know what I should open it with?

Watching first two of Christopher Nolan's Batman movies with  xaviansilkwood in prep for the third one next week. Every time Cillian Murphy is on the screen, I just keep staring at his eyes. Such pretty eyes...

I dusted off an old tumblr account I made quite a while ago then just sort of forgot about with the decision to turn in into an ask blog and sketch dump. In about ten minutes I'm going to start a new live stream but this one will be a little bit different than my usual, "listen to music while you watch me work." A friend of mine has been asking me to show him my techniques for digital coloring but we can't seem to be able to line up times to meet so I've decided to record this on my livestream channel for anyone to pursue at their leisure. I will be taking breaks and explaining just what the heck it is that I'm going when I'm doing it and why and at the end, assuming there are any people hanging out in the chat, I will field live questions if there's any thing that anyone wanted to know that I didn't cover or was left confused on. Okay definitely feeling much better today, at least physically. Labs came back and the doc went ahead and switched my prescription so this will hopefully kick the last of it. Unfortunately I still have things to stress over since our court date with the lawsuit over the old apartments is in a week. As long as you're keeping us in your thoughts, add that to the list. We've been working so hard to clear our credit and get everything back in order since the economy took a big dump on everyone a couple years back... it really feels like this is the one moment where it's totally make or break for the next few years, whether we can clear every thing out or have to give up, file for bankruptcy and be stuck where we're at even longer while we try and rebuild again. The closer we get to it the more terrified I become that the whole thing will be a big flop. I've never even been anywhere near a courtroom before, and these guys are a major rental company. I really just want this all to over so we can all get back to normal.

Could some one just maybe wake me up when May is over? I'm hoping next month will be better.

Not anywhere near 100% yet but it's a good sign that I feel better this soon. Fever is mostly gone, as are most of my aches. Energy level is still pretty low. gonna go lay down and rest for a while and let Xav watch the kiddo till he has to go to work. Keep keeping your finger crossed that this stuff will work and get rid of the infection completely.

So just as a fair warning some of this might be TMI for some people. If you don't want to read on, just know that I'm really sick and it might be a couple of days before I even know if what the doc has got me on will even work.


So... last Friday afternoon I started having symptoms of a urinary tracked infection. Went to the doctors office but they close at 2:00 on Friday and they weren't open all weekend so I had to wait till today to get in. Well over the weekend I started getting flu like symptoms, light headedness, aches , fever... By the time I got into the office this morning I'm in really bad shape and the doctor think that the UTI might have turned into a kidney infection. She gave me a broad spectrum antibiotic but said that oral antibiotics don't always work on kidney infections. She said that if I don't feel better into two days to go to the ER or come back and see her, and if I feel worse to definitely go to the emergency room. Ugh. Lovely.

Just cross your fingers and pray that the antibiotics she gave me work. It's going to be a couple of days before I feel better anyway so I won't be able to answer any notes or anything.

just came home from work with a cute and funny mother's day card with a crocodile on it and a bag of peanut M&M.

He knows just how to spoil me! <3

Yeah, I went and saw the mid night showing last night with  Xaviansilkwood and his cousin last night. I don't want to give anything away but I do want to say how fucking fantastic it is! Joss Whedon was at the top of his game in the writing department. One of the things he has always done best, that makes me fall in love with every show I've seen that he's written for, is dialog and character interaction. In just one short sentence, he can say more to characterize a scene set a mood or reveal a part of the characters personality or relationship with the other characters than most other writers can do with a whole extended conversation. This movie is no exception, it's rife with wonderful one liners that had me rolling in the aisle or aching for a character's plight. Especially Stark. Oh my lord.

Ahem, anyway, when you get a chance, go see it, even if you're not usually a comic book person.

And for the love of God, if you have learned anything from the other Marvel Movies thus far, STAY AFTER THE CREDITS START TO ROLL! I couldn't believe that people where actually getting up and leaving their seats as soon as they did! Seriously, you don't have to sit through the whole credits, just wait a minute or two.

And if you need a little more convincing to go see this movie, check out this review from Film Brain. He keeps it pretty spoiler free, although it does have clips from the movie playing while he voices over so if you don't want any of the action spoiled then just go see the movie for your self!

So, and I went to donate plasma today. After going through the whole rigmarole, finally got on the machine... and after about 15 minutes I got a hematoma in the arm they had the needle in. So they tried to switch arms but the vein in my left arm sucks for plasma collection and also got a hematoma right off the bat. So I wasn't able to complete the donation but they still compensated me for my time. But now I'm walking around like a robot with my arms stuck straight out because of the small icepacks struck to the inside of my elbows with medical tape!

Xav had a clot in the machine and so he wasn't able to complete donating either. D'oh!

I'm working on a secret project and wanting to find some good mood music to help things along. Looking specifically for Gothic rock, soundscapes... anything that has that Gothic horror feel with out being too fast or heavy. I've got a lot of favorites all ready but shoot me anything you can think of. Might be you know of something I don't!

Okay, I've been seeing this make the rounds in journals quit a bit today. I don't normally bring these sorts of things up unless someone else says something first but once out there, I'm not shy about it at all. So I figured I'd give it a whirl myself. Not sure who started it at this point and everybody seems to be saying they got it from somebody else but if you know it's origin then credit where it's due.

Okay, I am really loving what Cartoon network has done with their Saturday line up. Taking the Friday night slot and moving it over to Sat mornings has been freaking awesome for me. And I've been really enjoying Green Lantern: TAS and Young Justice. Which is odd because other than Bats, I was always a Marvel girl.

I missed Saturday morning cartoons!

Sorry for that long break, all. Thanks for all the kind words and thoughts. I've been much better but I've just been further side tracked since! I hate getting derailed in my work because it always takes me a while to get back up to full steam. Argh! I wish I could just set all the daily distractions better. Oh well, back to work with me!

I had an allergic reaction to something though for the live of me I couldn't tell you what and the doctor put me on benadryl, among other things. With anyone has ever taken it, you'll know it knocks you flat on your ass with drowsiness. And for those whom have the fortune of never having had to take it, they sell the generic form as a sleep aid.

So, yeah not much work is going to get done for a couple of days.
