Ugh, life dragged me away for so long... Been kinda busy with things happening in RL and haven't really had a chance to get back on here. Hopefully I can try to do better with that and managing things overall better in the future.

I really need to try to update my things more often than I do, lurking does not seem to always be the answer I guess.

Well this has just been a rather long period of suck. I get stuck without internet for over a month, and then right towards the time i get it hooked up, my monitor dies on me. Since it was also my TV I've been pretty up the creek on what i could do at home. So I finally get the internet sorted out and then Sunday got a new screen to replace the old one, and a bigger one at that. Then yesterday I'm going to the costume store to look at top hats to put a clock in and WHAM. I got rear ended and pushed into another car. After the initial omg reaction i find my glasses flew off in front of me onto the floor and my hat ended up behind the seat. Car in front got some paint scraped on the back, and the one that hit me got a slightly smooshed front end, maybe busted the window washer fluid reservoir. My car? It cot the back panel and the trunk squished so that it no longer shuts or the panel stays on without bungee cords. The front, well its got a crunched hood, possibly leaking a viscous fluid, maybe oil, possibly transmission fluid. And since i went to bed i found out my neck is sore from it too.

I see whats going on, my life apparently requires a continual amount of suck right now.

Woo, i got decent tickets to Avenue Q, going to see them on the 20th here at Emens auditorium, and best of all they were free. Cause i'm a student.

Well I finally got out to the bars this year. Started out with a couple friends and went down to the Lockerroom, really disappointed with them, they had actually run out of some beers >:0 and there was no sitting room, it wasnt even that late yet.

So we left and headed down the road to Mugglies and managed to get a table and booze. Turns out the $5 mugs of green beer were bush light, no wonder it tasted like a liquis shrub....

Met up with another friend who stayed for a drink and left, then hung out with the friends of a friend trying to play quarters with the foot tall glass mugs >.> didnt work out so well.

Overall it was a good night, had fun, and managed to not be sick all over at any point, though I had a mild headache this morning.

Woo Birthday, though it seems less fun the more I'm accumulating now. Oh well, I'm a just bum around online like usual, except with cake, delicious fudge frosted chocolate cake.

Why must you make my hands hurt so? Been stuck working 6-10 hours a day the last few to get projects done for today, and now i have a puffy/joint pain feeling in some of my knuckles, hopefully its only a temporary hurt, and not one of those things that turns into a long term problem.

Lots of walking and much fun was had this weekend. Got to meet a bunch of new people and get to know some others better.

Tried out that Furoticon game in a booster draft tournament they ran there. Its game mechanics run alot like Magic and Legend of the Five Rings (curse you imperial favor decks). I got five hours of entertainment and 30 cards for $10, so it was worth the investment, though i dont think I'll really see this game outside conventions much.

Spent most of the last day talking to some of the artists over in the artist alley for tips on improving my drawing ability. Still have to go and watch some of them.

Well now I get to recover from all the lack of sleep over the weekend, and wonder why the pipe in my dorm room keeps making ticking/tapping noises at me...

Not much has really been happening worth writeing about for a while really, though theres finally a presence of the furry fandom here at Ball State. We're working on getting the group officiated at the college and have MFF scheduled as an event the groups going to.

Much fun was had once again this year, the third one in counting that I've been able to attend. I got to see some people I hadnt since last year and meet some new ones too, hope your back gets better kitten. Seems I spent alot of the con wandering around the rooms again in my sleep deprived state, hope I didnt bother some of you guys too much, less sleep makes me kionda forgetfull. Watched some of the artists drawing and got a couple of tips on how to improve mine, mostly it practice practice practice though, as I knew it would be, but i can never think what to draw. Attended another panel by Bushycat this year, more lessons in drawing. I did pick up a pair of monicles from the dealers room, much fun was had with them. Comissioned a couple things that I'll put up soon, after I put up tho old con badges that I finally got scanned in. Went to the Frozen Oasis party, had fun till they closed it. Talked about fursuiting techniques with a couple people, suggesting what is good for a lizard, Came out with latex molds being a good choice. Walked into the the Atomic Spectacle of Doom after pretty much missing all of it, and witnessed the "Incident" as it has been refered to, still cant believe it happened but so funny. Finished up with conking out for around 12-14 hours after sunday wrapped up. I'm sure that I'm forgetting stuff, but can't remember what right now, ah well.

I feel rather discontent lately, I'm not really quite sure why....

Which really dosent seem to help me with anything I've tried drawing lately, the best I'd call a sketch needing improvement, and the rest is just a bunch of heads. Maybe I just need to be better motivated on what I want to draw.

Just too damn frustrated with my art, i can see it in my head, all the curves and lines, and some of the color when i want, but i cant put them down on paper without making it look horribly bad. Maybe i just need to go back and start working on something simpler to build up.

Just can't seem to sleep tonight/morning, and since i have a new-used sacanner from over christmas i got myself, i'm working on actually getting some of the stuff i have scanned in and put up, but yikes some of its been waiting a while to get up. Maybe i'll be tired enough to sleep after i'm done, otherwise i'm off to play my new game Okami, love that game and its graphics.

After my trip to Morphicon this last reekend I'm nearly rested enough. I got maybe 3 hours a night of sleep and then 4 or 5 in the car on the way back, due to that large amounts of sleep occured including 14 hour long one that ended sometime tuesday evening, maybe i'll be able to fix my sleep schedule soon.
On another note the con was a blast, I got to see a bunch of cool stuff, someone there randomly showed me how to make chainmail, just need some rings now. The food was about the same as last year, bad generic pop and hotdogs, but some good soup a couple days and some ice cream. I bought a bunch of cool stuff and shiny trinkets, as well as comissioned some art from LilShock, KaeMantis, and a bunch of others.
