Well I have known it for days, but obviously 'Make Me More Marie' didn't fund. It's sad, but promoting it was hurting getting actual commissions so it had to be brought to a stop eventually. I'm not too sad as it just hadn't captured peoples imaginations, faves and interactions were down big time. Part of that is my fault for how I structured it/sold it, but ultimately it wasn't working so it's best to bring it to a close.

Ultimately, we always have failures in life, and occassiobal successes. Sometimes you are gonna fall flat on your face and this was one of those moments. In a way it's good to have in perspective that I maybe don't have the clout to do this kind of thing in furry. I tried, but there wasn't the interest, and that's okay.

The only tough part is the main reason for doing the drive was a dying laptop, which has a broken hinge. For now at least, I don't have a sensible way to replace it, so I'll have to persevere.

I may in future try to do it, but that needs a major change in life situation. Will that come? I dunno. It's certainly not on the cards soon.

Part of the problem is my real life job also malfunctioning, creating a huge fall in revenue for my family. Furry is just one place I am trying to fix the problem, keep money coming in.

I am still open for commissions so get them while you can, I have an empty queue come Tuesday.

I've done it before and I am doing it again.

1 slot for 10 pages of a comic for £600 for anyone who wants it. That is between £75 - £150 discount depending on whether to you are a returning customer or not. This is a 24 hour offer and then it comes off the table.

I am had very little traction in anything this week, be it business, favourites, interactions - and it's so notable how it has dropped off, so I have no choice but to try and get some business in. So I have been thinking about this idea for about 2-3 years, and it is without question my biggest idea for a project since 'Whisker Wonka'. However it's never been quite the right time, but with my laptop collapsing on me (the hinge has literally broken off and my screen is on a slight wonk....a) the time for 'Make Me More Marie' is now! I think it could be a really fun real time event for the macro/micro/TF community - but I need your help to make it into reality.

What is 'Make Me More Marie'?

'Make Me More Marie' is a growth/TF drive but with two major differences. One - we don't know what the changes will be. Two - we plan to build the world of the game properly with a prologue and an ending - all written by a proper furry author TBA (no dodgy Lizz writing!)

I have created characters who live in this world and will ultimately be selected to play the dystopian game of 'Make Me More Marie', the hit show which can deliver you your perfect body...but is far more likely to lumber you with something you don't want. However after the shows first season, the fervour for the show and its ability to change lives has created a fever pitch. With the attention of the world on the show, millions of furs are desperate to appear on the show as riches await those who do well out of the show. There hasn't been a bigger TV event in the last century.

Each round, the six characters will spin a giant wheel of over 100 possible changes, with each of them landing on one change. This will create the possible changes for a round, and will be UTTERLY random. Then, in a dramatic second stage, three balls will drop into the wheel to decide WHICH CHANGES TRIGGER. If a ball lands in the same segment twice, the player will have that change triggered TWICE. Its even possible to get three times the change!#

After (up to) seven spins, whatever the players body look like is what they are stuck with. However, the winner of the show - the one who has become most 'god-like' in the eyes of Marie - a 500ft goddess who lives on the island - will not only win material riches of £1,000,000, but a date with destiny and Marie herself, an honour only bestowed on one other being....the winner of the first season of 'Make Me More Marie'.

How Does It Work?

First we need to see that there is enough interest to reveal and draw the characters.

If we get enough funding, we will then start the writing of the prologue for the whole game, introducing the island the game is set on, its world, the show, our goddess husky Marie and the lucky six contestants who get the chance of a lifetime.

After that, it is up to you to fund the spins each round to see what changes we get. Each spin may get some seperate art, and will come in two parts to up the drama as much as possible.

Any additional funding we get will go towards more work in the universe, and people who are super generous and become the biggest donors will get some small say in how the game plays out (to be revealed at a later date).

Why Unique Characters, Why Not Ours?

I wanted to do something different from Whisker Wonka. I want these to be characters that everyone takes to heart, not just the owners of those characters. All the characters have a legitimate reason to be in the game, but will they get the results they want? It is almost impossible for all of them to get what they want - delicious consequences that Lizzes love.

Why Funding - Why Not Just Make It?

I initially just wanted to fund it myself, but my full time job has become occassional gigs and TBH furry art is what has kept me afloat in a difficult period. With my laptop now starting to fail, I really need to upgrade, so whilst the thought og this being a drive has always been in the back of my mind, I think now the realistic thing is to do that and make it actually happen. If the interest isn't there, it just won't happen, and I'll just concentrate on commissions etc.

So you may see I have put up a poster about commissions (again), but I just wanted to point out the difference this time in a journal. Up until now, I am have been opening for slots in and around real life work - but for now I'm going to try simply being open for commissions.

Man I'll tell you what, switching between lion and not-so-lion jobs is pretty exhausting! I don't know whether I am coming or going!

So let's start with the first point of action.

I am going to open for one more comic commission to be completed over the course of the next month. The sooner you book, the quicker I can get going. The second point of action is a new interactive story/drawing project I have wanted to do for about two years called 'Make Me More Marie'. I have wanted to do this by funding it myself and making it happen, but with my muzzle being firmly pressed into the grindstone of life, making this happen on it's own currently isn't possible. However, the option exists to turn it into a 'growth drive' style thing - albeit its a game of transformation and not simple size. It's set in a world where a real life goddess called Marie exists, a husky deity who rules over a Class M planet and essentially through association informs fashion, beauty and even brands and products. However, a new reality show called 'Make Me More Marie' offers lucky members of the public the chance to maybe to become more like Marie whilst the cameras watch.....or maybe not.

The exciting thing about this game of change is nobody knows what the outcome will be, not even myself - as the results will be largely random with the six contestants dealing with the life-changing consequences. In it's second series after a first run that saw it become the talk of the world, everyone is now at fever pitch for the fame and change the game can bring, and will give anything, even risking their lives to be part of it.

Does this sound interesting? If people thing they would pay to see this game play out in droves, that we can turn it into a drive and a really cool creative project. Let me know if this is something that intrigues you!

Quick note prior to the festivities.

I have really loved being back drawing an epic number of quick turnaround comics in 2024, but I don't yet know what 2025 will bring.

What I can say right *now* is that I have probably two long form comic slots going to start straight after Christmas. I don't want to take on too much more for a week or two until I know hiw available I am going to be. So, as always with these things, book earlier to avoid disappointment, I can never guarantee I am back for good, I am a part time furry artist for now, if I suddenly get a permanent contract paying more, I'll be closed again.
