Hey all!

I'm going away for a while, I don't know if I'll have good internet access.
But I'm leaving some little treats on my Subscribestar! Each day I'm gone (from tomorrow the 18th to Thursday the 28th) a short story will be posted! They're sketches - think a warmup, or a lil gift for a friend - usually ranging between 400 to 1000 words! You might dig em :3c

The results for the Entrancing Awards are in. I am absolutely gobsmacked.

Not only did FOXTOY win first place in the short form category, Surprise Inspection also placed in the long form category!
(In the case of the latter, because I won the former it was not counted in the running!)

I had a feeling one of my stories might place, but not BOTH! That's absolutely fucking wild.
Thank you all for your votes and support. It's really heartening to get a vote of confidence like this from the fandom.
I've been going through a lot of craziness the last couple months, but I intend on knuckling down and posting more regularly over the summer. Gotta do something big for Snektember, don't I...

I've been dealing with some frustrations with my work recently - difficulty with focus, feeling stagnant, feeling isolated... and I want to take steps to fix it, and maybe even help other people who're feeling the same as me!

I'm doing things a little different this year. I don't have the time or energy to do anything huge or ambitious.

But! I will be taking a strictly limited amount of commissions - €25 per thousand words as the usual, but you can give me a prompt from any hypnovember prompt list! Literally any one of them. Have a prompt you've wanted to see done but didn't get the chance to in previous years? Nows the chance..

Caveat : I will be prioritizing people who have not commissioned me before, or at least not in the recent past. I'm gonna be picky too!!!

Got a few things to let y'all know in relation to that.

-I will not be doing a big commission drive this year, with prompts and commissions etc.
-I will, however, be writing and posting some short stories using a friend's as-yet unreleased prompt list. All of these are gifts for people I saw on my trip through the U.S. this summer.
-However, I may consider writing prompts from other lists as commissions at a discount. But for this one I'd like to prioritize friends and mutuals who haven't gotten a commission from me for a while!

I wouldn't have had a space to express myself creatively and share my passions with others.
I wouldn't have met so many furs who I hold so dear to my heart and helped me through so many hard times.
You could even argue that I wouldn't even be here at all.

What is there to say? This site has been a constant comforting fixture in my life, the bedrock for my work and a jumping off point for so many lifelong friendships.

And I know there's thousands upon thousands of other stories like mine. And it's thanks to Dragoneer.

Rest in Peace. You will never be forgotten. Least of all by me.

Frankly I'm struggling with burnout, keeping up this regular input is very difficult and draining

I'm deeply appreciative of everyone's support but I feel like I'm writing in circles and it's getting stagnant as hell
