General | Posted 10 years agoSo that whole kerfuffle with refunds? Totally gonna be fixed next week.
My mom sorted out my brother being a jerk, so he and my cousin and I are being taken this week to Ohio to sort things out financially.
So when that cash comes through, I can finally issue full refunds point blank, so expect emails for confirmations of paypal accounts this week everyone!
That being said I've been in a drawing slump, and think I might try and drag myself out of it with a few doodles this weekend. So hopefully that'll be on the horizon too!

General | Posted 10 years agoRefunds are forthcoming, though a little later than expected.
I am on that inherited account with two other people, one of which being my brother whom works off shore on oil rigs/fishing boats.
So this won't be resolved until he comes back ON shore in a month or two, three being the latest.
As soon as that account comes in, I will be promptly paying everyone back all at once, since I've been so busy working most of the time lately, and if I'm not working, I'm sorting things out here with personal business that I've no need to guilt ya'll with so I won't. o 3o
Either way, I'll keep everyone updated here on the ETA, and keep bugging the other two account holders to get their information in to the bank, since not a one of us can go to the bank alone without the others verified/signed information since it's a Payable on Death account shared between us all. Which blows, but what can ya do.
Hopefully gonna eek out the time soon to get back to drawing a lot more!

Wanted to pop in, give an update, and say I'm coming back to post more regularly/restart my que.
Most importantly, the entire que of refunds to be made will be repaid next month, as I'll be going up to Ohio to collect funds in my name, which will be able to pay everyone back en mass.
THAT BEING SAID, I'm restarting a new que when I want to do streams and whatnot, I'm also planning on just posting more stuff in general!
Some of it will be personal, some of it won't be, but I'm gonna be significantly more active.
I understand those of you waiting till next month for refunds may feel upset that I'm restarting before being able to pay you, but life has calmed down for me where I actually have time to devote to this, and I'd really prefer not being guilted off a website that helps me vent through art. ★Previous Que, Final Updates & Last Call for refunds!
General | Posted 11 years agoAt this current time, my life is too busy to do much in the way of commissions that were previous income.
I can take on new commissions and complete them IMMEDIATELY when I post something because I post when I actually have time and will set a one week hardline turnaround for any project and any project that exceeds that time without a proper check in/explanation will be immediately refunded (even explanations will not exceed two/three weeks as I will now ALWAYS keep a retainer amount in my paypal in case of refunds), but between the death of a parent, a legal war between my family members over inheritence, and specific roommate situations that are
causing the rent to the house to skyrocket for me and one other person while everyone else lives on OUR dime causing the both of us to work
ourselves into the ground, I don't have time for this website right now which is why I've disappeared since my grandmother/woman who raised me's death.
I do apologize for all of that, and for explaining it in such a blunt way, but I only get on websites occasionally to doodle to destress from all of this, or to just browse
anymore. If you'd please remind me how much your commissions were, I'm compiling a list via here and on IB/Artist Beware looking for people I owe old files to that
I either cannot find or did not complete, and will be attempting to straight up refund people when I have the extra cash. It may not happen all at once, it may
have to be split up into smaller more manageable 'payments' for larger amounts owed, but it's the only way I can clear out that que and start fresh at this point.
I have a court date to attend pertaining to the legal documentation/will of my grandmother on the 12th of February, so I'm currently trying to pay rent/save up for THAT
expense because it's out of state for me and a whopping 12 hour drive away, but after that I will immediately start issuing refunds. Again, I'm sorry to be so abrupt, but I'm just as stressed out about all of this as everyone else that's done dealing with it. I will NOT be accepting any more 'I don't want my money back I just want art', because I don't want to stress out about this que any longer and Im sure no one else does either.
I apologize for my abruptness, but it is in the spirit of being fair and blunt/honest about it because everyone involved is tired of excuses/trying to be polite about this obnoxiously long wait time that is
admittedly ENTIRELY my own fault. I'm to blame for all of this, and besides the loss of time and patience on many others parts, there will be NO loss of money because I never
intended to be a thief of any kind no matter what it looks like at this point. Let me know how much I owe you, and I will check in to pm you the earliest date I can refund you.

I've always felt bad how I handled this with everyone effected by this, and while I know a straight up refund won't satisfy the frustration you've had over this, that it at least proves I meant no malice or intentional deceit at any point in time.
As mentioned previously, all art will be leisure art or immediate commissions now. If I DO find old files, I will upload them on a third party image hosting site and email them to people, as I no longer want to put super old art in my gallery because it's obviously not indicative of my style anymore. I hope you all understand and respect my decision, and take it for the apologetic and long overdue professional restart button that it is.

I have cleared all shouts period from my page, good and bad. All bad shouts with time stamps have been screenshotted, and I am happy to provide them to the users who posted them at their request. These screenshots are to hold me accountable despite cleaning up my page for future business.
I will be including them in the Artist Beware page, a page that once approved, I will be linking in my 'about me' section until my previous Que is COMPLETELY refunded.

★Bittersweet News/Updates
General | Posted 11 years agoOn the side of good news, I will be dropping some things off this Friday/Saturday into Monday of next week as I work on weekends in the overnight shift.
Also, the internet connectivity problem is COMPLETELY sorted out in the new house. I was gone for a few months because internet was spotty at best down in the basement room (my room) and I couldn't get to references, let alone try and upload anything or get FA to load period. But that's no longer an issue, and I plan on keeping in touch with customers accordingly.
In the terrible news end of the spectrum.....
I probably won't be as active on here save for personal art/artblock doodles for a while.
I'll still finish the work I was paid to do, but my creative soul and state of mind has taken
a massive blow this past weekend.
My grandmother, whom has raised me since I was a small child, passed away very suddenly.
One day she thought she had a bad flu, the next she'd passed away at the hospital. It's been two days now,
and I'm in that 'trying to make yourself numb and constantly distract yourself with other things so you're not
sitting there thinking about it too long or you'll cry' phase of grieving and it's effecting my will to do much of anything substantial. Even my friends had to literally drag me out of the house to cheer me up.
I'm not sharing this to guilt trip anyone, in all honesty, I've just had turmoil in my life with commissioners before that I wasn't always transparent about, and I don't want anyone to have an unclear view of the situation. If I seem aloof or impersonal, it is not because I'm trying to be. I really am trying to filter everything through professionalism, it's just hard for me to muster the amount of passion for anything I usually care greatly about right now.

General | Posted 11 years agoSo I have moved safely to my new temp place in Louisville, KY!
Upon getting here though my roomie informed me the lease was up soon and we may be moving to another apartment in a week or two.
This means I am temporarily unable to set up my actual workstation with my files on it as there is no room for me to do so here. Her desk is being used for storage and is a small table, and the common spaces are cut off to me and my set up due to the two other sets of roommates in this satellite-style apartment currently.
I WILL be holding frequent sketch streams though, so any work that can get done in those, will be. I will try and see if I can grab files from my workstation to her laptop so I can finish paintings ASAP!
