FC is over....now onto....

But had a great time overall at FC2017 with people. Was an exhausting con!
Drank the least amount I ever had at a convention, too... so there is that! (didn't gain weight like last few! woo!)
Also immediately after con may have put a downpayment on a Victor suit... >.>

Now onto:
- work with a new boss who may kill me with work loads and stress
- Frolics and local meets as usual
- Tail Party in LA... gotta do that a few times. SO GOOOOOOD!
- Suit photo projects and side things/adventures (holidays killed me with work, really miss weekday animal-ing.)
- Possible no-suit-only-camera-con.... RMFC? TFF?

I love my ram Schadenfreude and the smiles and laughs he brought people at his debut during RF. Im gonna have a good time with him all over! :D
RF had their Hilton contract torn up for 2016 because a few unchecked individuals destroyed and wrecked the place. ( https://www.rainfurrest.org/2016/in......php/location/ ).
We need a universal ban list for cons, RF's offenders known or not.

Posted 10 years agoI am not one for elaborate journals and prefer to be to-the-point, so yeah:
Ahem~
So yeah just wanted to just say that 2015 has been my most enjoyable and content-rich year in the furry fandom since un-lurking back in 2011.
I have made so many new friends.
I have strengthened existing friendships.
I have witnessed a best friend propose to another friend at a con.
I have found a love.
I have been to a con on the east coast.
I have my ram Schadenfreude becoming a suit at the end of next month.
My wolf becoming a suit by year's end.
The year is only just over half way done, SO much more enjoyment to be had and adventures to do.
I love everyone and what they do via artistic and interpersonal expression for themselves and the fandom as a whole. We are quite the motley crew of fur and polyfill; its overwhelmingly awesome :)

Posted 10 years agoSo in the wake of FC2015, I have commissioned a new fursuit based upon an idea I have had in my head on the fly randomly... but am in love with it.
His name is Schadenfreude, or by definition: the enjoyment of pain or misfortune of others.
Yes he is a mountain Ram... as Ram-types, goats, etc are the biggest jerkwads of the animal kingdom. So the name fits! His coloration is monochromatic except for his eyes, which are an attitude-riddled orange and red. Digitigrade too.... because hoofers can't be plantigrade :p
i am having
coyoroo of http://roofur.com build it and so far the service and responses are top-notch and a big delight to work with.
I am slated to have references out for him within the month and a completed fursuit by around August of this year.

I am giving my Loc0 a more well-rounded aesthetic look that wouldn't be such an upper-body focus and more of a whole body pleasing flow.

Posted 11 years agoAfter plans for NEXT year were initiated, i had debated it.... but it Looks like I am going to hit this con after all THIS year as well!
I am gonna take a bajillion photos .....and there are Many furs I wish to meet and hang and party with this coming September; its insane! :D
I am Gonna aim to (again, hah!) organize and stage a miniature onefurall group photoshoot for those who make it up (or down) to Washington... so keep your ears perked and heads cocked for infos in and about the twitterverse (@loboloc0) during this convention!
