Met almost all my fursuit photography goals and am really developing a liking to organizing these mini-OFA shoots with the
onefurall critters (may have to make it a 'thing' for every con I go to :3). I am incredibly pleased with the pictures I have taken with the ante I have upped.
didn't party as hard as I had initially wanted to, but that is fine... I spent most my time hanging out and eating great food at the GSR.
I don't normally get this 'PCD' that everyone seems to mention and moan about.... but I think I am starting to understand where they are coming from, a strong sense of belonging that makes that sort of blissful feeling you get when you see someone for the first time in years.
To those I hung out with, took pictures of, and had a hell of a time with: Thanks :3

If Weasyl didn't have the set of unintuitive key features (for me) it currently has, then might use it.... until then this 'archaic' UI of FA is just fine for me. Its like they expect every user to be a coder, or someone who has lived in IRC since their birth.
Universal accessibility should be a core feature. I guess the big "BETA" on its banner should have been a flag.
anywho, until Weasyl gets its shit together or the FA remaster, Loc0 is here.

Special callout to onefurall for helping promote and put together a semi-sorta-kindanotreally-official photoshoot of their walking and hugging artwork.

Posted 12 years agoIts done and back to reality once again. FC was a great get away for me from work and am now ready to get back into it. Ill miss my fuzzies and my only regret was not getting too many photos this year.

So as some of you know, I plan to do multiple series of photographs at this upcoming convention (FC '13) next year.
I would like to organize with fursuiters to create focused and goal oriented sessions at producing beautiful compositions that show-off their suit's Beauty, creativity, and composure.
I plan on 3.5 major categories of photographs:
1. generic cute pictures.
Not just limited to the concourse, but around town, or the underbelly of the hotel or convention center. Etc. Whackyness and adorable are required! This category includes portrait still shots and action poses as well.
2. Cuddle and/or Furpile Pics.
Hotel-room and concourse-based photos of Snuggling, cuddling, furpiles. Can be on the ground, in a corner, on a bench, couch, or even a bed. Cutes and floof everywhere! :3
3. Clean and tasteful pinup photos.
[#2 can qualify here as well as a genre-shift]
A hotel bedroom-based setting with suggestive positions And inneuendoes (like crawling towards the camera on fours on the bed, for example). These photos Possess beautiful aesthetics when done well.
4. Pinup/cuddles calendar?? (//prototype idea//) Someone gave me this idea, thought it could be considered. Though might require more time than I have available (not trying to spread too thin at the con, gotta party too ya know!)
