I hope y'all have a great 2018! Last year was a very wild ride that threw more than a couple of curve balls to all of us, but let's learn from our mistakes and make the best out of this brand new year.

I know i have been pretty absent in the art world this year, life kind of caught up with me.

I'm making an effort to slowly creep in more art time. I had planned to make various 'thank you' pieces for friends and acquaintances; but time caught up with me, alas i'll still be working on them, probably not at the pace i intended.

To that effect i also have a question for you guys:

What kind of art would you like me to focus on this year?

I really have no personal focus for art this year, and i'd love to hear what you guys have to say :3c


In case you're wondering what kind of year i had:

-After 3 years operating: managed to move my startup to a decently sized office in Jan.
-Retired from said startup due to partner differences (shady money operations) in April.
-Startup defaults by June because of internal fighting.
-Unemployed for about a month, bae covers my expenses.
-Finally managed to land large freelance account, bae gets laid off.
-Bae gets eye surgery
-Accidentally damages her cornea TWICE, needing touch-up surgery.
-Got an office space neighboring my apartment.
-I partner up with promising startup, partners are unexperienced.
-Went back to freelancing.

Hi everyone!

I’m currently in the last stretch for filing and redacting all the documentation and field testing involving my thesis, and given the huge task ahead; I’ll be mostly unable to focus on art or socializing in general.

I’ll still browse and queue up some posts on my reblogs blog (lokpik.tumblr.com), but that will be mostly it.

In any case: I know there are people waiting on me to open commissions, and I swear I’ll open up for them as soon as I’m done with this (which should be no later than may 20).

Given my current financial situation I may open up in advance, for those wanting to reserve their spots; I would be asking upfront payment, but I would be working on them AFTER I’m done with my thesis document.

If this happens I’ll let you know with pricing and policies.

I usually never posts updates on my life or anything on art sites. I think they wouldn't be too interesting.

But i've been told i should let you guys know every now and then how am i doing. So, before i do; i want to ask:
