Salazbus Culture Info!
Posted 3 years agoHello! So here I will break down the Salazbus cultures from what exists already, and will update when new ones emerge!
So instead of relying on sub-species concept, Salazbus looks are based off region/culture. Depending on where they were raised or from what ancient colony they come from their traits and looks are effected.
Currently there exists 3 Cultures....
New Lor- which is just the standard Salazbus that the species is evolving from.
Elaysian- The desert region Salazbus with bounded tails.
Kai'he Mana- Tropical region Salazbus which closely follows a Polynesian/Hawaiian look.
NEW LOR
This region is like America on Earth in terms of culture. All walks of salazbus were welcomed to New Lor, so it wasn't unheard of to see many mixed culture relationships. But due to all the diversity, New Lor became the neutral zone of their planet which led to a "no culture" zone. Those are the base Salazbus, they dress, style, and behave how ever they want basically. In ancient times this region was known as the free country, where Salazbus could run away from the restrictions of their community and live more freely. In a way it was a Utopia for free minded spirits.
ELAYSIAN
This region is based on the desert, Salazbus that live here are spread into smaller packs divided up amongst the dunes living life closely related to that of a nomad. They however never leave the desert region, for it is close to their hearts and love the sands they walk on. After the destruction of their world, many Elaysians had to abandon the thoughts of living in the deserts due to the lack of Life-force that travel those lands. Even though they cant be there, they still hold up their traditions/culture. Elaysians believe in the beauty of gold bounding, this is basically the act of wrapping their hair in gold cloth or thread and bounding their tails in gold rings. Due to this their tails are oddly shaped, but it only adds to their shimmering gold beauty. Another trait that Elaysians admire are butterfly ears, a Salazbus born with these ears are looked up to as being blessed by the deserts, this came around because seeing a butterfly in the desert is rare, and possessing such rare ears obviously made you stand out. ( butterfly ears arent mutations from the desert, they always existed, but there arent many Salazbus born with these ears in general....Elaysians just really love the trait.)
Another Unique thing about Elaysians are that they are very close to spiders. It is recorded their great ancestors thrived on the hunting and taming of spiders, eventually it evolved to where they were always seen together...and that also lead to the breeding and succession of Elaysian community. Yes, they mated with the spiders... most Elaysians have spider DNA flowing in their blood... it is also the speculated reason why Salazbus of this culture bind their hair in gold... it is said their hair is silky like spider thread and sections of it are incased in gold to retain the purity.....Which is true... their hair is very soft and silky....thankfully Salazbus dont poach their own e.e
Kai'he Mana
The Tropics...This culture lives on a fish shaped island, with many scattered islands offset it. Kai'he mainly live in the reefs of the water near the shore, but many also make home on the land. They live spiritually with the water and are very family bound. Kai'he's are romantics and often live monogamously, they enjoy the connection in which they share life force with their loved one. Before their planet was destroyed, Kai'he believed in soul mating. Everyone of that culture believed someone was made to be their perfect match, and how they determined a soul mate was through a ritual. This ritual took place when a Salazbus reached maturity, which is determined when a Salazbus starts letting off their first signs of pheromones. Salazbus grow rather quickly but until they can attract a mate/prey they are considered immature. Anyway, The ritual takes these matured salazbuses and have them do a water dance ceremony. They would dance together in the water, and in moments a couple touch, if sparks spring between them three times, then fate had determined there pair.
Well, now that they have been evacuated and spread across the stars after the destruction of their world, Kai'he found them selves having to mate more than one lover, which was a little distressing at first for them, especially since those mates werent from their own species. Time moved on and now they are more than comfortable with a bigger mating pool, though they never exceed 3 lovers. Their dancing traditions also became a way to attract prey instead of attracting a mate...though 10/10 most prey turn into mates. The culture still retained their romanticism and dance even with the loss of their original world.
Special traits of a Kai'he are Tadpole like tails for swimming and bark like horns that blend in with the corals of the sea. double horns are rare to have, but single horns are very common. Another trait coming form kai'he's are Angler antenna for females, which are also very rare.

Q AND A
Q- Does this species produce waste/feces?
A- No, because they dont eat physical things like humans or some species do, they have no need to produce waste. At most they comsume sperm/breast milk which are immediately turned into life force/power.
Their bodies are much like a steam engine in terms of burning off that energy, so any forms of life force are slowly evaporated over time and in some cases faster if they are working really hard.
Also, lets say they do happen to eat physical food... the food wouldnt have anywhere to go and so it could make your Salazbus really sick. They would vomit in order to expel it from the body, and be ill for a week or so. This is because their body is trying to clean the debris from their body. During sickness a Salazbus will stick to a bottled life force diet till they can regain enough stamina to hunt prey again.
Q- Clothing with such huge Parts???
A- Their bodies are very squishy and "empty" on the inside. They have very little organs, so incase they need to fit into tighter fitting clothes, they can suppress their mass to fit into any clothing they need to.
Q- How do the Back appendages and rib cage appendages work?
A- So, the Appendages that a female or male Salazbus has on their backs or ribs are much like their tails. Their main goal is for latching and attaching, though all appendages on their bodies have the ability to take life force... but its not as often as their genital appendages or tongue appendages.
The back or rib appendages have the ability to stretch into a tentacle and wrap or hold onto trees and or their prey. They don't often use them, but are able to utilize them outside of climbing....Tentacle porn anyone?
Q- I need to know...How do the penises absorb life force from a female?
A- Okay, so their penises have these little bumps and fleshy spikes on them that are used to not only latch themselves inside the vaginal wall or anal wall, they are also able to absorb by creating friction. Though they aren't as good at absorbing as the female Salazbus who's appendages are made with little hairs that are meant for absorbing, instead the male relies on the pre-cum they ejaculate to induce a lactation in the other species to feed off the prey.
Q- So how does the Pheromones work? Are we talking about orgies everywhere?
A- Lol, so Salazbus only release pheromones when hunting. They do not let it off at all hours of the day, instead its centralized when they need to feed, so naturally it will seep out closer to when they are hungry, and then fully release when they are targeting prey. The radius of pheromone release is about 200 ft or for a bigger visual an acre of land, which is a 100ft off of a football field. Any species caught up in the release will be effected, but the further you are out of the initial release location, the less effective it is.
After being doped up on the smell goods, the prey will naturally be in a state of heat, the first being it sees becomes their source of release. This is where a Salazbus eyes come in. They naturally draw the attention of the prey by making them focus on their bright pupils, like a target. The prey will then head towards them in order to get closer to the target, and when they are close enough a salazbus will make its move. Some are suave and approach lovingly, others may use their appendages or tail to grip them close and start the process of feeding. Aside from their eyes, the unique colors of their skin could also be very captivating drawing prey in.
The pheromone release dies down, after the prey has been caught, but it will stay in a victims system for at least and hour or two after. To take the explanation further, we need to get into the actual sex. SO like stated before males release pre-cum in order to stimulate breast milk in their prey, this is only strong in male Salazbus, females can also have the same affect, but it isnt as potent because their built more for absorbing sperm, while the male is for breast milk. A feeding is complete when a Salazbus is either full or fed enough to go back to their duties. Usually for the prey this means a few rounds of hanky panky and then they are released.
Q-What happens to Prey after sex?
A- They have a few options...
1. Wake up naked and drained then run off
2. Seek the Salazbus they mated with and join their harem ( ultimately making them a feeder)
3. Seek partnership ( which it doesnt always work out)
4. Try and kill or harm ( which I mean totally up to the Prey)
and there are a few more options they can take...Salazbus rarely take responsibility for looking after the prey after sex unless the prey is pure bred, or they are a good source of life-force. Salazbus do not harm their prey unless it is asked or edged on by the prey themselves, and this is usually nibbling and or rougher versions of sex. If a prey strongly is against mating with the Salazbus, the Salazbus will step back and search for other prey, they much rather have an easier to handle food source than one that can kill or hurt them. They are very Docile and like to avoid conflict if possible. Also the fact that killing them ends their life for good, isn't something they want. Salazbus main mission is to regrow and because its hard as it is to reproduce, they don't want to go extinct.
Q- Is there an off chance that Salazbus can get preggo's by another species?
A- In rare cases yes, it is fully possible. Both Male and Female Salazbus have a small womb that is where their own eggs are formed. In some rare cases, a sperm finds its way into their womb and hasn't been converted into energy, they can develop inside the Salazbus womb and form hybrid offspring.
When a Salazbus creates an offspring 100% of the time the child will be a full blooded Salazbus....but if a Salazbus is impregnated by another species, that is a whole other situation all together. These children will gestate for however long the species that got them pregnant usually gestates for. They also do not consume a lot of life-force, but chances of them surviving till birth is very rare. This is because most species have their own diets and because a Salazbus can only feed on life-force, the child growing in them will suffer malnutrition. Only half of the child is Salazbus, so they cant fully live off of life-force like their parent. If a Salazbus tries to pick up the diet for the child, the Salazbus will get sick, because anything other than life-force could hurt/kill them...
All and all if the seed is strong enough to survive, then yeah they definitely can have others children ( I plan on making hybrid babies down the line :) )
Q-What are the holes on the end of their ears?
A- The holes are punctures made at the time of their birth. All Salazbus have these holes as alien tracking chips! They can only see the tracking info with a special scanner. This scanner is also the device used to puncture their ears and imprint serial numbers onto the Salazbus. The serial numbers are recorded in the device and linked to something similar to the cloud that keeps track of how many Salazbus are out there as well as archive those that no longer are living.
Q-Why do they need tracking?
A- Due to how hard it is for them to breed and grow, trackers are used in case the species needs to find another one of their kind in the universe. In very rare occasions if the species is dwindling due to death rates , the species will come together with the few they can find and hold a mass orgy in order to increase birth rate.. So in these cases Male Salazbus will try to impregnate as many females as they can and females will try to produce 2 eggs ( VERY RARE)
Q-How does traveling work? Like in space to different planets?
A- Well after being forced to relocate, they all chose random destinations and stuck to that specific world. Teleportation to another salazbus can only happen using the tracking device and the "magic" stored in their chip. Though sadly it is a one time use only, and so Salazbus rarely teleport to each other unless their numbers are too low to function on their own.
Q-What if they dont have the device?
A- 1. the device itself is a very rare tool and is hard to recreate unless they are in an advanced era world... after abandoning home, every pack took a device and ran...so in a way the device is a pack heirloom. 2 losing it would mean never being able to find the rest of your species in space. They would be considered lost in space and never be located again, unless that pack remakes one.
Q-Are they prone to illness?
A- The only time a Salazbus becomes sick or contaminated with a deathly virus or the like, is if they run low on life force and just happen to catch the disease, flu, or sickness. It is easily cured with more life force, but if the life force is drained to quickly before they can refuel it, then they will die from the illness whatever it may be.
Q-Are they considered hunters?
A- Yes, and no? They use a lure and trap method. They will lure prey in with pheromones, and use their eyes for hypnosis which traps them in a sexual trance. After they are done feeding they will release the prey. On occasion a prey can become a feeder and join a harem in order to keep feeding the Salazbus.
Q-What about farming prey? Would it be an option?
A- Yes, but highly unlikely. They value easy but useful...They cant focus on farming much less their daily chores of society without being constantly hungry, running a farm would be too much for them to handle and if in such a case they have one...it would be run by a feeder or the weaker members of their species...and this is only on the theory they grow large enough to need a mass production of life force. So, easiest way of life would be obtain a feeder harem and have them provide constant life force for them when they need it.
Q-is it possible to breed two salazbus?
A- Veryy verry rare.... and it is highly dangerous. Both parties would have to be full of life force in order to bring a child into the world, and so this means the female would need to carry two eggs at once, and that practically means starving her to death. or having her on life force support for the entire month of the process... so all and all they wouldnt even consider it and if they did they must really love each other.
Q-can you store life force?
A- yes, but like anything you buy there is always an expiration date.... so the fresher the better, the longer it sits it become less effective and would have been a waste of life force by then.
Q-Do male Salazbus have sperm and eggs?
A- Yes, though the sperm is not baby gravy... its more like lubricant and in excessive amounts. The zygote is created in them and injected into the carrier of the child. because their species is weird genetically the Salazbus male has to make the perfect enviorment for the child to grow, and the carrier would only need to carry the child till birthing.
Q-Does the Sperm have a taste, smell, or texture?
A- Think flavored lube and thick gel like lubricant and you have a Salazbus male sperm. Flavor and smell is owners choice.
Q-Can they mate with all genders?
A- Yup! Male Salazbus can impregnate men as well as female, and females can impregnate them self with the life force of another female.
Q-Average Life span?
A- Infinite until killed....Death occurs from: Starving, being harmed greatly and not being able to have life force heal them fast enough, or birth risks.
Q-How do they obtain breast milk? Do they have to be women who have already had children or are pregnant?
A- No, the pheromones let off, induce breast milk in females/males and cause lactation.

Q-Do Salazbus have special abilities?
A- Every Salazbus has there own unique way of hunting prey. Aside from their natural pheromones, Salazbus can also draw a prey in with their eyes, and make Species Lactate regardless of gender, through their pheromones. Your specific Salazbus can have its own power as well, for example inducing a heat through saliva, or making a species that lays blank eggs, lay those eggs during sex. It really up to the owner, and keep in mind it is unique to you only !
Q-If my Salazbus has a "weaker build" can they really not reproduce?
A- Sadly, no they can not....Not physically anyway. Their body can not withstand the burden of birthing or giving an embryo, so they themselves cannot reproduce, but in some terms they can go through a surrogacy. They would store up all the Life-force they can get and give it off to another Salazbus who is of able body to produce the offspring. The child will still have your Salazbus's DNA but they will be sired through someone else. Your Salazbus will also have "pregnancy instincts" during the gestation/incubation stage, because instinctively it is their child, and even if they arent in the same room as the mother/father who is creating the child, they will exhibit rash and protective behavior until the child is hatched.
Q-If my male Salazbus has a feminine body type but fits in the healthy female range for reproduction, can they still not reproduce?
A- So how that works, id really have to get into build, because I get why that is a question for those who naturally want to sire without having to compromise the body they want. The reason that still wouldn't work is because of their build types...females create off spring in their own body, so they are plush and mostly meaty because they need their body to be a comfortable nest for their egg. While the males create the embryo and pass it on, their bodies need to be able to withstand the surge of power from life force and have the strength to push it out of their member into the female. To have a curvy feminine male with no real muscle or strength to push the egg out, the Zygote would fail to pass and get trapped in the male. This would cause a "miscarriage" or "fatality" to the father. Which ultimately would ruin their ability to gather life-force. Yes, the bodies ability to reproduce can differ per salazbus, but for simplicity sake, no they can not, sorry !
Q-What about a muscly female? Are they still able to reproduce?
A- Yes, though they cant get extremely built due to their genetic restraints, they are still able to reproduce. The stronger the body, the better the conditions for the life force to form an egg. Naturally when producing the egg their body would have to stretch so the the "abs" or "Muscles" will decrease in definition and their bodies become softer in turn. Just like how humans eat to feed their child and get a little chunkier as well, in a way this is the females way of doing the same, Their bodies become soft and stretchy to make room for the egg. So yes they can reproduce, and yes abs are fine.
Q-Salazbus on Succubus mating? Does it work?
A- Yes! Though Salazbus are technically a branch of a succubi/incubi, they draw energy in a different way. Typical Succubi/incubi draw energy from their victim via sexual dream, to drain them of life and eventually killing them. Salazbus however physically draw out energy in the victim sexually and feed from the life force in the substances they provide. After they are finished they release them, in no way does it exhaust their life energy or kill them, they may physically be drained from the workout but that is all... so because of this the energy a Succubi may drain from a Salazbus isnt the same as what they take from them. mating will work, but might be a little difficult if the succubi/incubi feed to much off the Salazbus stamina, then physically they cannot withstands breeding from feeling exhausted... which is saying a lot considering their sex drive

A- No! depending on the culture they fall under, their methods are different.
New lor- Use the base method of pheromone and hypnosis. They use their strong pheromone smell to capture and seduce prey.
Elaysian- Use hypnosis and entrapment unlike the other Salazbuses Elaysian use the gold on their body and their beauty to draw in prey then catch them in a trap, and wait for the prey to completely submit to the delusions its put under ( very much spider in instinct.)
Kai'he- Dance and hypnosis. They will take those lost at sea or stranded on small islands and lead them into the water with their beautiful dance and like a beautiful dream, the Kai'he mate very gently leaving strong romantic feelings inside the prey which usually leads them to partnering the salazbus.

An invasive alien species that spawn in random locations among the galaxy. Their home planet was destroyed long ago, due to Space raiders coming into planet and mass killing their kind because they went against their beliefs. This caused the Salazbus to disperse among the stars and enter new homes amongst the many planets and homes around the galaxy. However, even if they escaped to new homes, they are still hunted and killed for their unusual behavior and the mass cross-breeding that comes with their pheromone release when they hunt prey. Salazbus adapt fast to their environment and pick up speech and habits from species they come in contact with by just tasting their "life-force" once. A common misconception for Salazbus, is that they kill their prey, which is completely untrue. Salazbus only capture prey, feed, then release them. When people go missing, its usually because the prey got addicted or attached to them, and enter a type of harem for the species to feed from.
What is "Life-Force" ?
Life-force is a term used to replace the common word, Sperm or Breast milk for other species. Unlike others that have to eat things such as meat or vegetables, Salazbus only feed off "life-force". They take the energy kept in sperm and breast milk and use it as their food. The energy that they collect builds up and then is output when they do certain activities. any, and everything they do takes "life-force", which is why they are almost always having sexual interactions with the beings around them. Sadly, due to their odd constitution, they are not able to take "life-force" from their own species. To sexually mate with each other would hold no purpose or nutrition for them. If they do however for some reason want to bound for life with a member of their species, they are fully welcome to it, but they would still need to have multiple sexual exchanges with another species or at least consume a lot of bottled "life-force" in order to survive.. So, for those that choose the path to stay with their own species, keep what is know to them as "Feeders". These are 1 or 2 of a different species that's only purpose is to produce semen or breast milk for the couple to comfortably stay with one another.
As a tip, sex between two Salazbus can be compared to two glasses of water filled half way, then pouring a small amount of water from one cup to the other and vise versa... at the end you would still have the same amount in both cups... which is why they see it as a useless task... when they could just get a full glass of water by simply taking it from the tap.
SO all they do is have sex?
Well not necessarily... They do 90% of the time have sexual interactions, but other times they are being an active part in society. They build homes, care for children, and build defenses against predators. Their culture is far from nomadic, and like the joys of advance life. Even in a place that is barbaric and for the most part 3rd world, they still strive to get back to comfortable living. The species in themselves are highly intelligent and hard working, but their constant apatite keeps them from developing a good image for themselves.
How do they reproduce?
So, in order for a Salazbus to create an offspring, they would need enough "life-force" to form the embryo/egg. To do this, they would need to over exceed their food intake. This basically means they would need to be beyond full of life force in order to survive and create another life. Typically this is accomplished by constantly engaging in intercourse till they are considered full, or breed multiple times with 1 purebred species. Due to the high potency in Pure breed sperm/ breast milk, a Salazbus can obtain twice as much "life-force" than if it were with a mix breed.
For females, they would take this "life-force" and create a single egg, it doesn't take more than a full day for a Salazbus female to birth this egg and start incubating it to hatch. Due to the strain it takes on the female to produce and lay the egg, females, after gathering what they need from their prey, will immediately hide themselves in their home and will not reemerge until after the egg has successfully been set to incubate. No one is to bother them during this process, females become extremely aggressive during the birthing process. Right after they finish setting their egg up, females will search for food and come back to their home until the offspring hatches from its egg. The whole process takes a good month and can be risky for the female, which is why it is an important event for the species when a female prepares for birth. The whole ordeal is a life or death situation and is the survival of their kind.
Men on the other side of the wheel, will inject their embryo into another species. doesn't matter if it is male or female...Like the female they would need to gather a lot of life force, then inject a golf ball sized Zygote or "egg" into the their breeder. That egg then attaches itself into the inner parts of the species abdomen creating its own womb and form the embryo, this will cause the space to expand and give the appearance of a baby bump. Depending on how long that species takes to create their own life, is the time it takes for the embryo to form into a physical egg and birth out of the breeder. Which can cause a lot of pain and can cause death upon birthing... really depends on how strong the breeder is. The egg is then taken by the male and set in their home to incubate. Men are not as protective or aggressive as the female Salazbus, but they are highly sensitive during the incubation period and will stave off sexual interaction till their offspring hatches.
Alright, so is it possible for them to remain monogamous with another species?
Yes, and no? There is a high chance that the Salazbus will starve or become weak if the partner they choose, does not produce enough "life-force" for them to survive off of. In this case, pairing off with a Pure breed is their best option for survival in terms of a monogamous relationships.
Do they Mate with anything?
So, they do mate with everything.... but it has to be human-like and/or has human intelligence. Its a preference really, I would prefer not to associate them with having intercourse with something that can not give consent.

Salazbus can vary in all kinds of colors and shapes, but there are some species restrictions that would fall in rare or uncommon.
Salazbus are vivid! Pastel or light colored Salazbus are considered albino and are extremely rare. They are suppose to be captivating and hypnotic in a way, so it is not strange for them to be designed like a Jackson Pollock painting~
Salazbus females are suppose to be curvy and plush. Petite, and or slender is rare and are considered weak females. This ultimately means the Salazbus female is barren and can not birth children, they also don't require much "life-force" to survive, this usually lets them have higher positions in their society since they can rationally handle more work without sexual breaks.
Male Salazbus are beefy, tall, and carry huge members. Shorter and weaker men are like the slender females of their species.
However even if they are born slender, small, or weak, Salazbus do not discriminate their own. The task they have in their communities just differ and it sets them apart from the rest, but no hate is spread in their homes.
Their tails are massively chunky and very strong, they use it to climb and subdue prey. The appendages off to the side are used for gripping and attaching themselves to whatever the Salazbus needs.
There are also extra appendages on the females nether regions and on the males rib cage. These are also used for gripping and sucking life force. they have small hair like needles that pierce into the skin and latch to the prey. Dont worry it doesnt hurt! It is more like a series of small tickles.
Their tongues are very long and also have 4 appendages for gripping.
teeth are soft and squishy, but will become sharp and boney when defending themselves against predators.

No, because Salazbus believe that everyone has their own usefulness. Just because they arent built the same doesnt mean they cant complete the same work or even more than another. Salazbus prioritize harmony and usefulness over anything else, which is why they dont understand why other species have such a hard time using the same concept. However with this same mentality those of their society that become useless or lack proper morality will be branded a wanderer and will be forced from the community. To become useless would be properly identified as lazy or corrupt.

Salazbus eat life force... well on their now destroyed home planet, life force could be found in everything, in the fibers of the trees, the wind, it freely came in and out of their lives. so they didnt have to constantly mate back then. they ate what normal people ate and actually bred with each other safely due to advance monitoring systems they could successfully be with one another or other species if they so choose....sadly after everything got obliterated ( which being as advanced as they were, they were no match against the space raiders.. a fearsome species indeed) This forced many to separate and spread out. not everyone had it easy where they went, and life force was sparse...they could only gather it from other beings like they had done in their prehistoric records.... so they had to adapt and return to their more savage traditions which was manipulation and sex... but even so, with all their intelligence why suffer the ways of the wild when they can still form great cities if they so choose? Shoogs are a species belonging to Amma....What is Amma? Amma is a special universe made by Nim and Loa. Shoogs, at the beginning of time weren't always sweet thieves. Their ancestors actually lived in Sugar crystal mines and Sugar cane forestry. Their main source of food was eating and sucking the sugar from the crystal/stalk and absorbing that into their body to make what we know as sugar today. The sugar that they processed off their bodies, were filled with magic and was a good source of nutrients to the earth around them...This meant Sugar crystals get bigger and sweeter, and sugar cane and trees produce sap and concentrated sugar supply for them to fill their bellies. Shoogs were also very neutral in color, most closer to white than anything.
Modern day shoogs, have evolved a lot since those days. They produce more finished products and their diets influence the next generation. So, its safe to say the world of desserts took them by a whirlwind. Their furs began to change colors, as different fruits and dyes were added to the sweet things they got their hands on and eventually they became walking rainbows...Literally... As it stands many people now, treat Shoogs pretty friendly. They are like friendly stray cats and if someone has a candy they tend to donate it to the running around shoog babies. Shoog also are pretty friendly with the people they meet near where they live, but its not all just because they are cute. Shoogs are sometimes fed just to get their sugar, its a pretty beneficial partnership. Though, some truths are a lot calmer to handle than most. Not all Shoogs have it well off, especially if people of evil intent catch one and enslave them....but lets not think to much about that! Seeing as how everyone here is Shoog loving people....right !

What Are Shoogs?
Shoogs are a cat/dragon/sugar glider mixed species. They are the size of a Domesticated dwarf cat, standing at 5" tall and 7"-10" Lengthy. They live to steal, and by steal, they steal sweets. They are sugar thieves...Shoogs will climb into your house, or window, steal your baked sugary goods or candy and bounce! It's not all in vain though! Shoogs leave behind a "gift" Which is actually their own personal extract. This is usually magical sugar, that forms on their collar fluff. On rare occasions they do Extract full treats, but only if their a Shoog born with high magical ability.
Shoogs Primary Traits
-Shoogs have two sets of ears, the ears atop their heads are folded inward and only unfold when a Shoog is at its most alert. This is because those ears in particular can hear further out. Without the use of their top ears, they can hear anything from 120 feet(36.58m) away, with their top ears they can hear anything from 240 feet(73.16m) away.
-Fluffy Collar is also a primary trait, as it is where their extract forms.
-Wing Gliders are used to escape high places, swiftly and with ease.
-Fanged lip is a primary trait of a Shoog.
-Short furred everywhere but the tail and neck
Changeable Traits
-Their Whisker amount can range from 0-4 on each cheek. They unlike cat whiskers, are thick and sleek and form at the cheek and not the maw
-Their tails change in length and fur fluff, the smaller the tail the rarer it is.
-They can be born with horns or without, but bigger horns, and uniquely shaped ones are rarer.
-Other than sugar, on rare occasion their are shoogs born with excessive magical extract, and when shed will form full treats.

✢Some Other Facts✢
Shoogs are always born with specific designs that are a kin to their favorite sweets to eat, and their extract is usually a bi product from that treat, so if it likes to eat cotton candy, its extract will be either pink or blue sugar...or it will be white and taste like cotton candy. Though this is usually the case, there are some instances where they will love the bi product of the treat they are formed around. For example, they are a cinnamon bun but like to eat ginger candies instead of cinnamon buns....
Shoogs dont have a set "home" but they tend to live closer to where people live, because people=food
They can be domesticated, but it is very rare and requires a lot of sweets(A LOT OF SWEETS)
Like cats, female Shoogs can have litters with multiple fathers. but a litter of Shoogs caps at 3 per litter but its more common to birth only 1 at a time. unless its a breeding event, the litter can grow to its cap.
Female Teacup shoogs are only able to birth 1 baby per mating season, but Male teacup shoogs can have up to maximum birth but children will have a possibility of being teacup
on occasion if a shoog is fond of you, they will tend to offer their loot of the day, to you(extremely rare...they love sweets)
Shoogs can be anthro, but they prefer to stay feral, its easy to steal...
Shoogs cant breed with other species, only their own kind.
Relations
Shoogs are like cats, they do not have one set lover, but in events that a shoog really connects to another shoog, they can remain committed to a relationship.
Shoogs are okay to have as pets or familiar, but dont expect them to be trained...so outside pet at best.
Domestication
Process of domestication....
You have to shower it with its favorite food everyday during their hunting hour untill they like you enough to come by even with out snacks. After you have gained its trust invite it in...if it finds a spot it likes and falls asleep... you now have a shoog xD
Shoogs who become domesticated, arent any different from an outside cat. They will come home to their owners home to sleep, but during the day they will hunt come home around noon to show off its spoils like the king of egypt, shed whatever extra sugar crystals it had gathered that day, give you a good hey i appreciate you body swipe and go sleep in dark holes or places.
Its not uncommon for a shoog to bring back one of its spoils of the day as a gift to their owner, but it wont give you its favorite treat... just the treat they care for less <3
Q. Do paired shoogs [ teacup and reg] have to be lovers or can they breed outwards?
A. Shoogs that are sold as a pair dont have to necessarily be a love pair. They are just connected by responsibility and role, but are free to breed with others if you so choose
The gems that form above some shoogs ears, are highly concentrated magical sugar that crystalizes and forms certain shapes. When the top ears of a shoog divide to alert mode, the crystal will split and decrease in size forming smaller versions of the crystal, and will reform when put back together.
Shoogs have a mutation called Bam-Bam which occurs when a Shoog is more liquid sweet than solid. This alters their form making them have rounded ears, heftier bodies, and glass bellies. This is a very rare trait
