Heya! It's been a hot minute since I've done anything besides post art on here, so I figured it'd be fun to do a bit of an AMA of sorts! (Totally not stealing the idea from a friend)

So! Over the past few months peeps have been sending a bunch of stuff by Orilas to me, saying that it’s my style of sag and I should look into his art. I’ve had to explain this a few times so I figured I’d put it out there here: Orilas is an asshole who will stomp on other artists who look up to him.
In the past, I followed his stuff and was super into what he did, so I reached out and asked if I could do some fanart of his OC. I know people can get a bit touchy about who draws their characters, so obviously I’d be fine with a no. Orilas proceeded to respond by shitting on my art style, calling it “too simplistic” instead of simply saying no. I responded by asking which artists he’d recommend I study, to get the level of detail he was looking for. His response was that I was too “generic” and was a lost cause. That shit stung HARD and I can guarantee that if I got that response earlier in my art journey, I would’ve stopped doing art right then and there.
I’m aware calling out Orilas for this interaction will do absolutely nothing, as he has a significantly larger following than I do, this is more me asking that if you send artwork my way, please make sure it isn’t by him, as I don’t want to be reminded that an artist I used to look up to thinks I’m a lost cause.

Heya! Figured I should let y'all know since I haven't been posting as often recently that I got a full-time engineering job! This shouldn't have too much of an effect on my arts, other than I won't be able to draw or post as often as I used to.

My ISP messed up and I won't have internet for at least a week. Due to this, I won't be able to post pieces or work on commissions for a bit
