Last Magical Common Ancestor Theory
Posted 3 weeks agoI've had this idea in me noggin for quite a while now. I came up with this idea that most terrestrial humanoid magical creatures evolved from Homo Erectus. It's currently believed that Homo Erectus were the first humanoids to discover and use fire. However, I like to believe that some tribes of Homo Erectus could have also been the first humanoids to discover and use magic. Those who discovered fire would move to the savannahs to use fire to eventually become Homo Sapiens and create civilizations while those who discovered magic would stay in the forests and Using magic to rapidly evolve into creatures that would otherwise take millions of years for a creatures like Homo Erectus to evolve to, Creatures like Elves, Fairies, Trolls, Nomes, Goblins, Etc. Of Course, there are creatures that evolved to use magic before Homo Erectus but what I'm saying is that Homo Erectus and their descendants could have been the first humanoid sapient magic users. I think I'll call it "The Last Magical Common Ancestor Theory"
