Well, With the summer around the corner, i feel like actually doing something productive instead of sitting around playing video games for 3 months. And since i've wanted to work on my art for a really long time this is just about perfect.

The main issue I have had whenever I want to work on something like this is that i have no one to be accountable to other than myself, and I'm far too easy on me :3. That brings me to my idea. I want to start an "art camp" without the camp and a lot more art thrown in. I want to find a group of 3 or 4 other people (More if there is interest) that will keep each other accountable to their goals.

An example of this would be say me and two other people want to make at least two colored drawings a week for the whole summer. We would critique and complement each other, and since we all have other people counting on us to do the art we would be far more likely to actually do it!

Like i said, this is a really rough idea, but if anyone here wants to give it a shot, go ahead and comment.

I swear, whenever I over hear furs talking about anything for more than 2 min it becomes a dick measuring contest, which is worthless since most of yall (Excluding Fort Collins Furs [Best group I've ever met]) are a bunch of pussies in the first place.

Just because we might have similar interests it doesn't mean we instantly give more than a rats ass about anything going on in your life. Don't confide you're deepest secrets on a gosh darn website! That's what REAL friends are for, not a digital avatar with a personality attached to it.

Well, Orientation starts tomorrow for school. After being out of the system for a year, i got a feeling i'm gonna go crazy! Anyone have any tips for keeping your sanity in school?

It's not that i don't think i can do well, looking at some people who went through college i know i'm going to thrive there, but i guess i'm just psyching my self out. I guess it's a mixture of not knowing what i want to do when i get out but having the expectation of my self to be the best at whatever I do.

Something else that's slightly troublesome is the stereotypes of the students at the school. People say they are really stuck up an preppy, something that really grinds my gears. I guess i'll find out if my preconcieved notions have any merit tomorrow.

I'll post my schedule when i get it this thursday/friday.

It's my Birthday! And there's a furmeet today! Tis going to be a good day.

Rmfc is over. The con stink is almost gone and the con crud is fading, so it's time for a post game report.

Hotel - Fuckin' amazing. Every staff member was very chill and helped out an immense ammount. Plus the hotel had a much larger lobby and random spaces to find random people and bug them till there having a good time

Events - The panels that I went to were good. Finding them was the hard part though, but that's easily fixed by more sign-age. (Dear Liza, Dear Liza). I'm debating if i should host one myself next year, do it on something completely random, yet unadulteratedly awesome.

Dances - The DJs at the dance were great, good flow and ok choice, but we need more variety. So over the next year i'm going to start working on how to mix music and do a retro dance night. Now, the DJs were good, but the equipment and people left room for improvement. Mainly i think we need less downtime. If there were always something playing, then the dancers that are there will stay. The people also need to loosen up! It's a bloody dance, have some fun! I know many times it was just me actin' a fool on the floor, swingin' my butt around, but you bet your bottom dollar that i was having a blast!

The Con Staff - Great people, always working hard to make everything run smoothly. Some needed to take it a little easier, take some time off and go schmooze a bit, but as a whole they were awesome.

Volunteers - That's me! We need more volunteers for next years con, and then it will be even bigger and better! This is where you come in, go to https://www.rockymountainfurcon.com and keep up to date on all the happenings of the convention!

No matter what i do to try and get myself to sit down and finish something, i always get destracted. I've been working on and off on this drawing for PupE for almost a month now! and i still am stuck on drawing pupE's head, let alone the 2 other heads in the picture...

So if anyone here knows of a good way to motivate yourself please let me know.

I need more practice drawing, so im going to start giving away free art! Comment on this or send me a note with what you would like drawn and a reference or two, and ill put you on the list.

One thing though, no Adult work. All this will go in my Portfolio and that would just be awkward.

So, Today is my birthday. I turned 19 today, but i still feel like I'm a kid. I guess that's not necessiarly a bad thing, but it does make the real world very awkward.
