Posted 4 years agoI think I am non-binary
    Still extremely excited about joining
Posted 4 years agoIt's been basically a month and I am still euphoric about joining the dang furry community.
I'm still motivated to draw.
I'm still feeling happy about self expression and getting better at it. It's a lovely feeling.
I thought that it would be like "Hey this is fun" and I would feel nice but back to a "normal" state fast.
Well, so far it hasn't, and I AM loving the interactions I've had with the fandom.
I just hope I can help making it an inviting and good place for more people.
Meeting interesting people, having fun.

New at this furry stuff.
Posted 5 years agoI've been kinda adjacent to furries for some years now.
Over a decade ago, definitely was a hater, lol. I regret those actions and attitudes.
Having friends who are furries has definitely enriched my life. And, why not join the fun? Better late than never.
And it's, uh, gotten me creative. Which is not something I expected.
I am not an artist, but my sister is, and asking her to draw me as a raccoon person would actually help me to see how she sees me.
And it was good. And it was fun. And it woke up something in me, I wanted to actually make it mine. To draw it.
So I started.
I finished drawing/coloring my fursona. Sure, it took me over a week to do it but... Hell, it feels SUPER nice to finish something like it. Particularly since I had not drawn/doodled anything in over a decade. And even then those were pencil/pen drawings, never colored anything I drew.
Just as I was starting to learn to sew, it feels REAL nice to see that I can start learning new skills.
