News and October YCHs

My hand is still pretty bad, and I developed psoriasis on my eyes and around them, so my dry eyes are getting worse. But I managed to see my optometrist for eye drops so that'll be ok. I restarted drawing and animating, just not as fast as I used to
HOWEVER! I will have 2 YCHs coming in October! One is a werewolf themed one -two characters, forest at night, blood moon, size difference- and one Cyberpunk themed -one character, evening, neon signs-
Both will have full backgrounds! Working on them now!
I'm keeping my workload small to make sure I don't make my carpal tunnel syndrome worse. Might make them auctions? Or flatsales? No idea yet
Might make some small Live2D animation comms, as soon as I finish wrangling the software to act right and do stuff I want it to do without screwing me over

I finally managed to see a doctor, went for some blood tests and x-rays, then another appointment on sunday to try and get my ass referred to a rheumatologist. They think it's acute arthritis or something similar. With some anti-inflammatory meds the pain did go down, but my main hand is still numb and painful. I probably have carpal tunnel troubles with the arthritis. My fingers can't fold without horrible pain, so I try to reduce movements and such.
I also realized that my achille's tendons are shot and that's where most of the pain comes from when walking. Apparently I over-exerted and injured both. And man it huuuuurts. I'll talk to the doctor about it on sunday.
As for art, well, I only really managed to doodle or rarely draw, so I might compile those and post them. I do have backlog of personal drawings, so that's an option too. Might queue some to try and revive this page.

I'm so sorry to everyone that's been tryign to reach me, or just chat with me. I've been in a long-term, horrible burnout and I can't do much these days
I'm trying to cope, I really am. It's just been so hard lately. My own brain is against me and not much is on my side
I'm really sorry for everyone and anyone I left in the dark about my situation. I've been sick and just keep getting sicker, but at least I want to get better
And fkn hell I'm trying to get better, even if crying whenever I open my cintiq is the price to pay

Posted 3 years agoAaaah I honestly don't know when I'll be able to have a stable connection. I'm so sorry
We thought it'd be a one or two days ordeal but it's been over two weeks now I'm at a loss. We've been told it'd be fixed days ago with the new modem, but apparently they sold us an "older" version they don't support anymore?? And yet we bought the specific one from their website?!? Idk why they'd do that but now we signed up with a new company so hopefully it'll be settled soon.
Anyways, I'm sorry again. I keep my phone on airplane mode most of the time cause I don't want to get hit with 10$/mb used on my bill by accident. Si if I haven't replied to you, that's why. And damn I feel horrible about it. I apologize so much

Absence no Internet
Posted 3 years agoSorry I haven't been on discord or here for a week. My modem broke and couldn't secure a new one until yesterday. Now I'm waiting on the company to update their systems to restore the connection.
Yes I do have a phone, but with very limited data, and I'm the one in my household who has the most so we've been using it exclusively. So no data to waste sadly
But! If everything goes well I should get my internet back tomorrow. If not, the next day!

News, Uploads and Schedule

If you're like me and it wasn't great, I feel you and support you, and I love you from the bottom of my heart
I wanted to make a News journal because some things are going to change soon, and I want to share
The new schedules will only take effect from January 11th!
I'm still house-sitting at my parent's house, and I won't be back to my normal place until then!
Uploads
I've done 4 uploads a week for a few months now, but I realized that I mostly just pump out art that's not really up to the quality I could do. Even when queuing them in advance it just felt rushed
So I'm reducing the number of weekly uploads!
It'll become between 2 and 3 uploads a week, but of higher quality
Upload days will be Friday and Saturday at 5pm EST
Some more things might be uploaded out of the schedule! Depends on what I make and feel
Livestreams
They will be reduced to a few days a week, on schedule
I tend to stream during the evening around 5pm EST
Most streams are NSFW!
I tend to switch to NSFW during late evening/night, around 10pm-11pm, until the end of the stream
Some days will also have specific themes and/or events
Taco Tuesday - Limited Discounted In-stream commissions!
Request Thursday - In-stream raffle for free art! One per person
Multistream Friday - Possible, depends on my friends

These two accounts will now be fully mirrored apart from NSFW on DA
I will post the same artworks at the same time on both accounts. I was super lazy about it before but I want to do it more diligently
In the case that I have NSFW art to post that week, it'll be uploaded on Wednesday
