Got muh badge, hopefully my pictures of things and people there will suck less this year now that I know how things are done.

This is it, my year. I was born in this sign and this will be my year to take life by the ass! I WILL RISE TO THE UPPER RANKS OF MEN AND DRAGONS AND TAKE THIS WORLD FOR MY OWN.

This is the 23rd year I have accomplished my long term goals of 'don't get killed' and 'don't end up in prison'. I should probably think of more ambitious goals this year.

Another birthday, another step towards greatness.

Went to AC this year for the first time. Oh boy. Where do I start.
Only had to drive 5 hours and got to stay with a friend for free that lives about 20 minutes from the con so that was good, traffic and parking was a bitch but I guess thats par for the course for Pittsburgh, or so I am told. Fernando's kicks ass and should be visited by anyone who goes to that city, and there were no riots or murders as far as I could see.

Didn't go to a whole ton of panels, will probably hit more next year. Thankfully, I found my camera charger and was able to bring it along, though I was far too distracted by the sheer amount of furriness around me to take a whole ton of pictures.
I discovered that while my stop and snap technique works for scenery and people that aren't moving around too much, it doesn't work very well on hyperactive fursuiters trying to get as many hugs and high fives in as possible before the day is out. Next year I'm going to say fuck the candid camera approach and just ask them to pose, since I guess thats the whole reason they come out anyway. I got a few good pictures anyway, and hopefully if I can figure out how to pull stills from video on here I can throw some of that up too from the fursuit parade and the dance finals.

Dropped a bunch of pictures from an adventure in redneck shanty town I had a couple months ago and other misc stuff.

So yeah, I have a new computer, a new apartment, and now a new camera. Prepare yourself for pictures of things that are not the outside of the house I lived in for 20 years. Perhaps they will even be good.

I finally got my hands on a camera that functions, and since its getting warm out, look for some new pictures.

Here is a checklist for election day or 'shit hits the fan day':

-10 cases bottled water
-1 stockpile of canned food
-1-3 fire extinguishers
-1 flashlight
-1 external power source
-1 cell phone
-1 hardline phone
-1 or more of the following: shotgun, rifle, pistol, assault weapon, pepper spray/mace, baton, bat, knife, sword.

My tax refund should be coming soon, along with (hopefully) that economic stimulus check. With this, I plan to buy a new camera, among other things. The arrival of summer will allow me to get out and take pictures more, so new content should be on its way posthaste. In the meantime, look at my old shit and comment if you lurve me. :D

Yesterday:
My psychiatrist says I'm making progress with my depression, and I told her that I'm even beginning to take photos again.
Well I guess god must've heard me, because my lovely surprise this morning was to find my camera laying on the floor with the LCD screen cracked and ruined. Thank you god, thank you my sisters stupid little yappy dog. I can still take pictures through the crappy little half assed viewfinder, but I cant review them or manage them on the camera. Fanfuckingtastic.

I live, my computer sadly does not. A moment of silence. As soon as I get a box better than 500mhz and 64 megs of ram, and can actually recognize my camera, more pictures will come.

Apparently good old Mother Nature felt bad about forgetting to deliver us our outrageous amount of snow for the past three years, and has decided to give all our chilly back-orders to us in one ridiculous December. Oh well, I did ask for a white Christmas. Careful what you wish for.

There is snow outside, and theres alot of it. So I did what any normal person would do; suit up, go outside and take pictures of stuff I've already taken thousands of pictures of, but this time its in the SNOW. Enjoy.

While it isn't a true outing, I took a walk around town last night and took some pictures of places I've always wanted to take, and a few cool places I happened to stumble across. Most are too blurry to post, but some came out alright. Enjoy.

Did not have to buy anything because I finally figured out what key started the system recovery. ^^ So new machine and hopefully some new pictures soon.

Laptop...broken. x.x I am going to end up rednecking a monitor to my laptop with the busted screen and putting a fresh copy of XP on it. (Up yours M$) I'll never shake a computer again.
