This little bastard buffed itself into a nuke cannon and proceeded to one-shot my entire team of pokemon, including Latios, and Omega Ruby's title pokemon, Primal Groudon.

It cost me 16 Ultra Balls. 16. For this one little blue legendary asshat that I will never bloody well use.

Going to be rolling out a couple more 40k pics soon. Found a couple Chaos chapters I need to draw. There's a couple other things too, but those will have to be a surprise.

Damn, Thaumcraft. You creepy.

There I was, sitting at my computer, fiddling with the 1.7.10 edition of Thaumcraft, researching and working to get some cool shielding stuff unlocked. I backed out of my research table to go look for things to scan for research points when all of a sudden, the edges of my screen go dark and a rapid heartbeat starts thumping in my headphones. The text "Strange whispers reveal secrets to you" appears on screen. I go down the stairs to my storage room and the black edges and the heartbeat starts up again. Fight or flight response, go!

Well, no more empty house after my brother's cat passed away. We have a new arrival, an as-yet unnamed little black kitten. He's a shoulder-sitter, very talkative and as cute as they come. He spent the last mile or so of our drive home sleeping behind my brother's head, propped up by the car's head rest.

So, I've begun work on technically the third drawing of the Second Wave of my Warhammer 40k stuff. I've got the Adeptus Custodes drawn, inked and colored, and the Necron and Rune Priest in the pencil stage pending more detail work. Keep your eyes open for more!

So, yes, I can draw mature stuff. I just usually don't, because creating costumes is more fun for me. More might happen somewhere down the road, if I can ever draw more I'm happy with. I tend to be overly-critical of my art like this.

So, apparently someone managed to beat the banks at their own game.

Until recently, I was the proud owner of a Wacom Graphire tablet. It disappeared and I have no clue what's become of it. I've searched my house from top to bottom and I haven't found it. As an artist, that was quite a blow, as I could get much more precise coloring out of it than any other input device.

However, with my late Christmas money, I was able to purchase a brand new Wacom Bamboo tablet. I am now one very happy soul, because it's lighter, more precise and includes better software than my old tablet did. Look forward to seeing more pure digital stuff now that I have the ability to do it.

For some reason unknown to me, InDesign refuses to STOP PUTTING OUTLINES ON MY TEXT BOXES. So I guess you'll all have to live with them in Shattered World for the foreseeable future.

I promised to list fixes made when I uploaded the fixed version of my game. As such, here we go.

1. Removed outlines on some later text boxes.
2. Fixed Magic chapter page text.
3. Improved visibility of individual equipment entries by changing the font for the entry name.
4. Fixed entries for "Spatial Compression Unit" and "Bag of Holding." They're now the weight-based limits I wanted instead of the old size-based ones.
5. Slightly increased length, due to some larger type, mostly the equipment entries.
6. Added the intro in the proper place.

I may be fixing the blatant and terrible errors in my game PDF soon. If I do, I'll post another journal listing the fixes I've made from the original. I'll also resubmit the pdf file here and on my deviantArt site.

So, the game I've worked on since 2006 is up. It's not fully finished yet, and there are some outdated entries, but it's up and available. If you decide to try it out, please give me your feedback.

Anyone reading this is probably going to laugh. I'm not, but that doesn't mean you can't, as it is pretty funny. I'm a graphic design student, and I have a class on Mondays and Wednesdays. This happened this past Wednesday. I listen to music as I work, it helps me concentrate. I had my laptop set up to play Pandora Internet Radio and I had my Sinatra station going. I had my foot on the brace bar at the bottom of my computer desk and was tap-tap-tapping my foot to the beat of a song, I don't remember which one, when all of a sudden, my foot goes CLICK and the Mac desktop I was working on goes bweeeeeooooooop.

What had I done, you ask?




















I had accidentally tapped my foot on the power switch on the desktop's surge protector...

First of all, I play WoW. I play on an RP server. I do not want to raid, or dungeon, or PvP, but I have nothing against those who do.

HOWEVER, I do take issue with people coming to an RP SERVER for the express purpose of PvP and PvE gameplay. They clutter things up with their dopey "I'm so bad look at me leet-speak" names and, in the worst instances, try and wreck RP for those who actually enjoy it. I know the game was not designed with my playstyle in mind, but please, some consideration would be nice.

In closing. if you want to play pure PvE or PvP, do it on a server dedicated to that. You'd hound us off if we tried to RP on your servers, but it's alright for you to come and push us out of ours? I fail to see how that works. So, please, have a little common courtesy...
