~~~~Memorial Service for Scrapper~~~~
General | Posted 12 years agoThe memorial service was beautiful and very nice. Im glad I went. It wasnt the "closure" I was looking for, but I'm not going to force it. It just doesnt feel real. It feels like a bad dream, or a really bad practical joke. I feel like any second, he's going to burst through the door, and yell "GOT CHA!". I feel like a piece of me is missing, like I feel hollow. It just doesnt feel right. He was so young, and we had so many plans together for our future.
This year, with the help of his friends and families, we will be putting on a fundraiser event for the Injured Soldiers and Dogs, to support our servicemen and women, and another fundraiser for Wolf Park, to preserve the wolves. Both organizations he cared deeply for, so this is something, this year, that is going to happen sometime in the summer. If you would like to donate your time, or anything in particular you would like to help with, please feel free to contact me, or Tim's mother, Pat Heiser.

"I need to clarify the funeral arrangements for my son Tim who passed away last Friday. I will be having a small memorial service here in Grand Island, FL where his Grandmother Linda Bickel lives but I will also have a Life Memorial Service in Elkhart, IN where his best friends and families live. I've decided to do a time capsule please bring stories and pictures to put in the capsule. As soon as the funeral arrangements are made I will post them. Thank you for the outpouring of love and condolences, that means a lot. It shows me he had tons of good friends and families." ~Pat Heiser

General | Posted 12 years agoToday I learned someone dear and very close to my heart, Tim "Scrapper Wulfe" Heiser scrapper26 passed away in his sleep.
He had multiple grand-mal seizures that ultimately put him into a coma. With only machines keeping him alive, his mother decided to pull the plug. He was only 36 years old. He was in Florida at the time helping take care of his grandmother who was being cared for the same problems. Please say a prayer for his family.
I take comfort in that he is no longer in any pain, and that he is in a better place. He will be missed by all he knew. He was a great man, a hard worker, a leader, a teacher, a friend, a companion, and compassionate, caring individual. I loved him very much. He made me smile, made me laugh, made me feel useful and loved. Made sure I felt safe and secure. Always lifted me up.

Christmas and Posting Pictures
General | Posted 12 years agoChristmas time is here... and again I'm spending it with my dad. Hopefully by next year I will have my own place and I wont have to endure this crap. At least this means I can bring my furniture back with me so I can MOVE.

Dancing? Why?

- bass clarinet - drawing (to a degree) - sewing and fashion (working on fur so I can start learning fursuits)
Then there is what I WANT to learn and do...
I really want to learn how to DANCE! Not just dancing, but performance-dance.
Jive, Tap, Salsa, Quickstep, Jazz, Charleston, Samba, Rumba, Tango, Foxtrot, Freestyle, Paso Doble, Viennese Waltz...
and then some other crap too so I can do more stuff, like DubStep and that kind of stuff too.
~~~HOPEFULLY~~~ I can get a partner that can do these things with me....b/c I kinda need one... LOL
Why the sudden interest though?
I'LL TELL YOU.
\Whenever I was dancing in the theater, because I used to be in a lot of musicals in middle and high school, I always felt...."free" from myself. I don't know if that makes a ton of sense, but whenever I'm dancing, something feels right. It feels like I found that missing piece of expressionism that I have been wanting for a long time. I don't know, maybe I just sound really stupid, but that's it. I love dancing, and its that feeling in my chest and gut that makes me love it. Its a mix of nervousness, love, passion, happiness, butterflies, and complete freedom from life. I just love it.

Taking a Leap of Faith
General | Posted 12 years agoThe fear of jumping ship can be scary, even if your ship is sinking. You don't want to sink, but you don't want to take the leap of faith needed to survive.
This is me right now. I'm kinda stuck. I want to jump, but I'm too afraid. I want to stay, but I'm afraid of sinking and not being able to get out. I'm just really anxious, and to be completely honest, I'm terrified.
Here's the thing: I was offered an apartment/place to stay with a couple friends of mine, married, and they have a spare room. This means: I give up my employment at campus housing, I get a $500 fee tacked onto my bursar, and I have to completely change my address, along with get a new job, and pay monthly rent and buy my own food, and completely rely on my own ambitions. If I stay though, I fall into debt farther than I can manage, and there is almost no hope of my financial situation getting any better.
I'm just scared. Everything is happening so fast...

Thanksgiving Furmeet Review (and what im thankful for)

There was a lot of food! Pecan and Pumpkin pie, cupcakes, cake. homemade turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, jello, rolls, and much much more! There was more than enough to fill us all, and then some!

General | Posted 12 years agoWell im back home from MFF 2013 i had the time of my life! :D It was my first time at MFF, and my first BIG con, and I have to say it was much more than I expected and my mind was blown away.

mrkittens natsufox trixie and so many more for making this an amazing con that i wouldn't trade for anything in the world. This was a perfect convention for me.
I got to see my old friends that are simply amaazing, and made a bunch of new friends that am more than excited to have in my life now :) I took literally over 700 pictures, and and I have to thank every fursuiter, artist, dealer, and con-goer for making my con fantastical! Thank you so much and I will always remember mff 2013, and I love you all so much.
I just cant wait for MFF 2014 and I'm super excited to go to even more cons, meet even more new faces, and snag even more photos!

November LAFF and Power Outage

Went to LAFF with sparkthedalmation and had the time of my life! I had so much fun!
It was amazing seeing everyone! I missed everyone so much!
It just makes me that much more excited for MFF!
Came back, and with the storm that raged through, we lost power. I just got it back after not having it for about 13 to 15 hours.
At least I got it back. Now I can cook dinner :)

1) "Family photo" of a few furs that I call family. Okay... like 15 ppl but whatever. :P Very "portrait" style.
