West MI Furmeet July 2013 - Review
General | Posted 12 years agoIT WAS FUN!!!
HAHA... but really, tonight I attended the West Michigan Furmeet at Spectrum Lanes, with a lot of dear friends. We even went to Sonic afterward! (Steak N Shake was too full)
Made some new friends along with hanging with some of the old ones.
I had a lot of fun, and took some adorable pictures. (especially the one with the fursuiters and the little kid...http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11202522/)
Bowling and food and laughter, and even just chatting it up... It felt good to be around friends for a change.
I cant wait until the next one I can go to. I don't know if I can go to the next one, because I will be moving down to South Bend for college, but I will hopefully keep attending when the opportunity arises!

General | Posted 12 years agoAs many of you DONT know, I partake in the art of Spoken Word, through...
...Slam Poetry... spoken poetry in performance.
NOW, I entered a local competition at a local club for this evening. Terrified, and never performing slam poetry in front of over 7 or so people before, I was terrified.
I got second place (out of 10). I was applauded, and I was asked if I had another one that i could do, along with the first and third place winners. There was no "reward" at the end, but my reward was greater than any cash amount in the world. The applause of a small crowd, and...
...afterward, I was confronted by a woman, maybe a year or so younger than me. She approached me with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face. I asked her what was wrong, and all she could muster up to say...was..."thank you." She immediately hugged me, and I hugged her back, knowing that her resonated with me, and I could feel it. I gave her back to the male she was with, and exited without another word. I didnt talk to anyone else. I didnt stay for the festivities. I just wanted to walk home.
I've realized that maybe.... This could be something I'm good at.

Running into a little problem...
General | Posted 12 years agoI was called by the state's psychiatric association for those with more extreme disorders, and they said that they are going to meet with me TODAY, ON A FRIGGIN SUNDAY at 3pm, and to be ready with my records, and at least 3 people who can vouge for my mental stability. I'm glad I was able to find people in time.
I have a surprise visit... they know I hate them and that the anxiety is always a little too much for me.
Let's hope this goes better than planned.

Mates and Acceptance
General | Posted 12 years agoI have 2 things on my mind right now. I'm not going to vent, but I'ma keep y'all updated.
WARNING: THIS IS MY OPINION. THIS IS HOW I FEEL. Don't judge me.
1. Mates.
Okay... as SOME OF YOU know, my mate and I haven't been seeing eye-to-eye lately. This is a serious deep concern for me, and it makes me thing about my past relationships, similarities and differences between them, and why the past ones failed.
I FIGURED OUT WHY. (will not be mentioned here)
I should also say that I'm not an angry person, and for those of you that know me a little better than others, you know that. I don't yell, I don't get overly frustrated, I don't blow a fuse and go off, and I never raise my hand to another person. (Anxiety attacks and personality flips don't count...)
On that note, I honestly have no idea why people fight over stupid little things. Like SERIOUSLY stupid things. Everyone does. I don't know if I'm emotionally numb to bullshit, or just too mature to really care about petty drama, but I'm not one to care for unrest. I'm an emotionally stable person (DISREGARDING the mental disorders) and petty crap between mates bothers me not.
Continuing, the reason my mate and I aren't getting along, and I can admit this, is PETTY CRAP.
Its all the little and small things that if we were face to face, we wouldn't think 2 seconds about, and it wouldn't be a problem.
Angel? Then why is it different over text?
GOOD QUESTION! Because its hard to add emphasis and tone of voice, and sarcasm, and everything else that the voice can do, to a text-based thing.
Granted, not everything stems from that, something hurtful things are said, but a lot of it does, and there is a lot of miscommunication that leads to hurt feelings, anxiety attacks, manic crying fits, and depression. (That's just me, I don't know what my mate does. I know he gets upset, but that's about it.)
YES, I love him. This isn't one of those "we had sex so now we're mated" kind of deals, we hang out face to face, and we genuinely have a lot in common. We are also best friends. That makes it kinda awesome.
No, he doesn't fully grasp my mental problems, but then again, I don't expect him to so fast. On July 7th, 2013, we hit our 8-month anniversary. We are coming up on that year mark! Woohoo!
In retrospect, I don't expect him to really understand and learn how I tick for another year or maybe even 3 or 4 years.
BUT I DO EXPECT HIM TO UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT ME... ALTER PERSONALITIES AND ALL.
Farell, if you're reading this, I want you to know that i love you, and that we shouldn't even be fighting, no matter what the other has said... Okay? We've both said things. But I love you and I'm not going anywhere.
To friends that I have been talking to, I want you to know that I thank you for being there for me, and I love you all so much. Also, that I have a plan. That's all you need to know.

2. Acceptance
THis will be MUCH shorter....maybe.
I'm trying to learn to accept myself. I have ZERO problems with ANYTHING out there. You can't scare me. I'm okay with polyamorous relationships, open relationships, persons of any gender or sex, people with the weirdest sex kinks (i have a lot myself)... THATS WHY I HAVE TO LOOK INSIDE.
First off, my sexual and gender Identity. Sexual being Pansexual and gender being a Pangender MTF Transsexual.
Let me explain... Pansexual-gay. A lot of people synonymously connect this with its social context, for those that believe love is based off more than mere sex, but a deep emotional connection. For me, I take the textbook version, AND the social version.
WAIT?!?!?!? What about that "gay" part?
I CAN EXPLAIN THAT TOO! Put the 2 together. I find everyone that have a male basis to be attractive, both sexually and on a deeper level. This includes biological-identified males, trans-males, trans-females, and anyone that has a version of "male" in their identity. This also includes genderqueer, bigender, pangender, and much much more.
SO what's your point?
THIS IS HARD to wrap my head around. Even I have a hard time with it. I'm trying to grasp it in stride, and its kinda-sorta working.
ALSO GENDER! GAH.
Pangender.... just....I'm not even going to TRY to explain this. And then wanting to change sexes... and...just...*headache*
Yeah, so that's hard to wrap my head around too, and try to self-accept, let alone be accepted by other for who I am.
ALSO: D.I.D.
I have alter personalities. I'm trying to get past denial.
I'm trying to accept all of my personalities for who they are. And for who I am. An WHY I have it.
SO yeah... this is probably the biggest one, and it has the shortest thing for it.... I find that funny.
Another reason.....is acceptance from others.
Mostly because of the mental disorders....people don't like to be around me... I've noticed that...
Also, that...well...they don't really understand me completely.
A lot of people refuse to KNOW. They think they have me all figured out and that I'ma certain way, and they they get all shocked and weirded out when I cross their version of the norm...
Okay im bored and tired of venting...okay I led I WAS venting....

Realizing Your Talent

I realized that I've been trying to find that one thing that I am amazing at, and that I can bank on for future art projects.
I tried furry art...painting...crafting...metalwork...writing...photography...
And no matter what I try, and what I get good at, it never was quite what I found a specialty in....
I realized that my specialty is what I have BEEN DOING all along.
FASHION DESIGN and being a Seamstress.
SO, that's what I'm going to do. (along with getting my degrees in banking and finance)
I will ALSO do MLP and furry art, but not as often as I used to.
I realized that I've been trying to find that one thing that I am amazing at, and that I can bank on for future art projects.
I tried furry art...painting...crafting...metalwork...writing...photography...
And no matter what I try, and what I get good at, it never was quite what I found a specialty in....

A Little Sliver of Hope...
General | Posted 12 years agoWell this weekend was my time to come down to Indiana and spend time with 
farell.
sunshine_skittles, Little Mac, and Stroodle was there for Saturday. We all had fun, went swimming, hung out, went to get something to eat at Steak 'N Shake, and got to take and laugh together. :)
Then Sunday was more than an amazing surprise. Farell and I got bored, so we went to the mall, only to find
exedus and 
charrwolffan for the same reason, and hung out with them for the rest of the day :) We watched a movie, played Magic the Gathering, and went out to get ice cream at Coldstone.
And i cant forget that Farell and I hung out all weekend and were able to bond and laugh and talk. :)
Thank you to everyone that I saw and I really hope I can come again soon for another visit.
Its this kind of thing that gives me hope for my future, that it cant be all hellish forever.
I cant wait to move down to South Bend, IN permanently and stay close to all of my friends. I will be able to attend IUSB year-round then, and catch up with my studies :)
I'm determined to get down there. I'm happier there. So, I guess I have SOME hope left in me. ;)

1 year since her passing.
General | Posted 12 years agoTonight will mark the 1 year anniversary of my mother's passing. It feels like just last week that I lost her.
Tonight will mark the anniversary when my mother was called by God to come home, to leave her physical pain behind, and to enjoy a new life.
I'm happy that my mother is no longer in pain and that her soul can finally rest, but that doesn't take away the fact that I miss her. I miss everything about her, down to the detail. She was my role model, my leader, my follower, my inspiration, my motivator, my comforter, and most of all... my mom. She will always be loved, cherished, and looked up to by many. She left a piece of herself with us all, and she has left her mark on everyone she met.
I love you so much, mom. <3 I miss you.

Its sucky, and not the best quality (it was cheap, that's why), but I FINALLY HAVE ONE.
And I actually look pretty good in it! It compliments my face well :) :) :)
Its a light brown. a couple shades lighter than my own hair.
I CANT WAIT TO TAKE PICTS! I cant wait to present as female and probably PASS!

Questioning Myself
General | Posted 12 years agoAs many of you know, I'm a very complex person. There are traits about me that others rarely have and I can be the outcast SOMETIMES because of it.
I've come to a point in my life, where I am questioning myself. I would give you a 30 page rant about myself and my life, but I'm lazy. So...here's the SHORT version:
Gender.
Sexuality.
What I want in my future.
Who I am and what I hold close.
Morals. Ethics.
Philosophy. <-- I love philosophy. So that's always something to think about.
I keep changing things left and right about myself and I need to sit down and contemplate what it is about me that always does that. I mean, I know constant self-questioning and de-realization of self comes from having D.I.D. BUT, that doesn't mean I cant try and figure myself out.
I have 4 new therapists that I see very regularly now, and I will be talking to them about everything and try to work my life out.
Therapist #1: Dissociative Identity Disorder, causes and symptoms, why I have it, making a timeline of events, what alter I have and why, their personality descriptions, coping mechanisms, etc.
Therapist #2: Gender and Sexuality therapy, why I feel the way I do about gender, thoughts about sex and an active sex life, and how it correlates with gender. Also, exploring other gender identities and sexuality, gender bias and societal wants and needs, gender philosophy, sexuality bias, etc.
Therapist #3: Self-exploration, realization, and reasoning. Covering religion, morals, ethics, rituals, future endeavors, education, lifestyle choices, mindset, why I think the way I do, etc.
Therapist #4: Relationships, love life, friendships, relations with friends and lovers past and present, attraction (or lack of) to society, friendships and strength and endurance of such, friend choices, friend groups, fandoms, interactions with people, agoraphobia and ways to cope, stuttering and interactions with people, getting rid of people that are bad for my mental health, rekindling old friendships, etc etc.
Q: Why did you tell us that? What's the point of telling us something that personal?
A: I feel like its more of a "heads up" and to keep y'all updated on why I feel the way I do.
Q: Aren't you medicated?
A: Not anymore. Too expensive, and I have to health insurance to help me. (Mom dies, so it goes away) Besides, taking upwards of 14-17 medications a DAY can be really annoying.
Q: If you cant afford med.'s, how can you afford therapy? Let alone 4 of them?
A: Med.'s cost me up to $5500 per month. Therapy is cheaper than that. Hands down. Meds are surprisingly more expensive than I thought....
So yeah. That's it. Wish my luck on my adventure into myself...I guess XP
