Alright guys heres the new post i promised for Saturday the 19th! Right now i'm hoping to have people get together at the park around 12/1230 in the afternoon - and hopefully we can get rides and transit worked out in the next few days if people haven't already. I've been told by several people that have little grills in the park... im honestly not sure where at im used to coming if off of Swamp road (101 swamp road) and by the disc gold area (its the first right after you enter and then the first left) If we can all meet in that area for the begining we can then move as a group to an area with grills if we want - cold foods would be easier but if we wanna do cooked foods there's an acme less then 1 minute outside of park to pickup supplies for that - (im not sure on the regulations on cooking at the park)

So if people wanna start making plans for
1. Travel
2. Food
3. Games / Toys / whatever?
4. Furry stuff? (its a large public park we shouldnt have issues with anything)

I'd prefer to get a general idea of all of those coming and what people are planning to bring so we make sure theres food and drinks and stuff for everyone to do ^^

Alright guys so I haven't been too active on here - sorry about that but between work and classes its been taking up alot of my time > < and im taking whatever time off i have to get things taken care of properly (studying and working on various project if /when i get the chance) So here's the scoop on Saturday 5/19 we were talking about hosting a picnic style event at tyler state park. However renting the pavillion may or may not happen... there is a fee to reserve them but they are free to use on that day on a first come first serve basis ... so we might just need to travel around the park to find one that is unused if we want to do that ^^.

So what i'd need from everyone on here is
1) A Ya/Nay from everyone to know how many to expect
2) Supplies that people would be bringing (if we do it potluck style with everyone bringing atleast something this should work out well
3) Activities we want to do (Since it is a public park we shouldn't have issues with anyone wearing any furry stuff that they want to (ears / tails / suits / THINGS o.O? )
4) There are several free things around the park to do as well as simply walking around the woods a bit, There is also disc golf (Frisbee golf for those that have never heard of it or played it - i have a decent amount of supplies for that but it can take 90-120 minutes to play an entire game so that might be out lol)
5) Ride - Do you have one? Can you provide one, or do you need one? Lets get this worked out to get everyone out there as easily as possible!!

6) LASTLY - if there are any important issues for people to know about:
Food Allergies, Allergies that might require treatment (ie. Bee stings & Epipens), or anything else that could be important for atleast me or others to know to prevent issues)

P.S.

Ummm also we need to talk about a rain date... right now if we check www.surple.com there are alot of events going on such as on the 26th (following sat there is a NJ BBQ) so maybe 5/20 Sunday would be our best rain date! Please let me know what were all thinking about this date and time!!

If this event has success we'll work on hosting at least one thing a month up here in the levittown (lower bucks area) for us and maybe start trying to work out some things such as crossing over with the philly furs group to maybe plan out larger scale events in and out of the city with them ^^

** I will be posting another journal and copy / pasting this to FACEBOOK as well - But if anyone has any interest in doing weekly movie meets at franklin mills mall (its not far and its MUCH cheaper then regular theaters) MON - THURS before 6PM its $7.50/ticket vs the regular cost of oxford valley from $9.50 - $11 ~.~ i'd prefer to stick to a regular date / time schedule or something for movies (after 6pm it goes to $9 i believe ) So if anyone could please comment on this matter too!!

Alright people so i've asked around but lemme ask again of the people that are going to furbowl - please comment here if ya can so we atleast can see who's going... For those that do not drive and want to go post on here and i'll look around and see if we can get people to get some of yas down there! I can't promise i can get anyone down there for certain but we'll do our best to do what we can do ^^

Alright well i've setup the group and friended everyone who i had an FA for ... im only missing those that didnt attend and 1 other person who didnt write down there FA ~.~ i counted the list that i have and have a total of 14 people... there were 15 of us there so if someone can tell me who we missed please lemme know - also if you could also please follow this group so that we have a "Central" form of communication if at all possible...

I'm working on getting something setup at Tyler state park (like a picnic / BBQ type of event w/pavillion) and i'll get full details and info posted when i know ... right now were looking at a weekend in may (probably a Saturday) Date is TBD however... Still in the works are other events such as regular mall movies (probably Franklin Mills) Also! Please don't forget to check www.surple.com for the Eastern FurMeets events and Delaware Furbowl !! (There only about 1 hour away and some of frequent them!)

Theres an Arcade furmeet on sundays once a month
Also there's a Jungle Wonder (think chuckie cheese) saturday's once a month
Lastly furbowl is also last saturday of the month (usually)
