Long time no speak!

It's been a loooong time since I came on this website, Ive still been on my weightloss journey and have lost over 40KGs now!
I moved out to a new City with my boyfriend after being made redundant at my job at a hotel because of Covid-19, I loved the job but there was unfortunately nothing I could do and they have now closed at least temporarily (min 12months) I was work in a pub/restaurant in the new place for a couple of months but it just wasnt the same, I was miserable and everyday felt like a chore to go there. So I decided to quit and am now starting to venture into my baking!

Update!
General | Posted 8 years agoBeen a bit scarce with my uploads but I'm still about! Not been posting all the art Ive been drawing!
Since my last journal weightloss wise I'm down to 168lbs and my goal has changed from 160 to 136, still a long way to go but I'm getting there slowly!
Work is going very well, still at the same job as last time and I really love it (apart from this week since theyve missed a weeks worth of my wages, but friends have commissioned me enough to cover everything until I sort this) It's more laid back and they just let me do as I please sometimes!
I'm really trying to boost my Baking Company more, so if you wanna check it out on Twitter please do!

Life and weightloss!
General | Posted 9 years agoI havent made a journal for about 6months, Wow, A LOT has happened in the past 6 months its been a total journey, boy where do I even start..
Work
Last month I once again changed jobs because the hours werent great and it was just progressively getting worse to the point it was beginning to feel like my previous job and I really didn't want another repeat of that.
Now I have a job where they fully respect me, ask my opinions, show me new things and actually offer assistance where needed! No longer on hourly rate but instead have been given a yearly salary which is amazing to be on, and really Ive been here a month already and theres not been a day where I wish I wasnt there.
Personal
Ive had my ups and downs mainly with Anxiety but im getting there, Ive always had issues with it and before I have just let it get to me and basically let it control my life.. But now I have more faith in myself and Im beginning to see what Im really capable of so I'm now starting to fight back!
4 months ago I went to Mexico and it was an amazing trip, met the most amazing people in my life and fought my anxiety to travel to a country on my own for the first time and not really knowing the language very well. I am due to go back again in a few days time to spend more time with them and be there for one of their birthdays! Im very excited to say the least.
Weightloss
In September I decided enough is enough and started dedicating time to going to the gym, my weight has always been an issue but it had got to the point where I really needed to start doing something about it. When I started going to the gym I weighed.. 225 pounds and upon weighing myself recently I am now 180 pounds which is absolutely amazing, I have never been able to achieve such weight loss before, aiming to be around 160 pounds, thats my current goal. I didnt really feel any different with how I looked until I went to a furmeet this weekend and compared it to photos I have from previous meets and wow I have done incredibly well so far..

I'm still on/off working on commissions and personal art, I am now closed until I come back from Mexico, my current pricelists are outdated but I will update them when I get a chance.

Another Life Update
General | Posted 9 years agoWELL The past month has been kinda a rollercoaster for me, mainly a stressful one but slowly getting better!
I'd already handed in my notice at work because I had been offered a new job, which is already a lot better than the one I had before. It was so bad and stressful I quit half way through my notice, I didn't intend to, they just drove me over the edge.
I had a week off work inbetween jobs to relax.. At the beginning of the week I shut myself off a lot and drank, alot, Im not proud of that, but since then I've made a couple of good friends, one in particular has really helped me out and helped me to focus on more positive things!
I started my new job on Monday and so far its been great! We're going to be opening a new business next week so we're all meeting eachother and working on getting the dishes correct! (its a pizza restaurant with a twist) My bosses are lovely and the staff so far are great, so very much looking forward to a new open again!
Also since then I have started going back to the gym, I really need to get myself into shape, I've really let myself go over the years and I'm very uncomfortable and disappointed in myself for doing so.
Also seeing as I haven't made a journal about this yet.. me and
danza aren't a couple anymore. It was a mutual decision and we're still living together. I dont have any bad feelings about it, it just wasnt going to work and we could both see that.
TBH I dont have a lot to say on it XD
Now I've decided to have a more positive outlook on life and be the person who I really am, I shouldn't feel afraid to be who I want to be or say what I want to say, so from now on I wont. I need to have more confidence in myself and I feel that its made an improvement on my life dramatically already.

Life Update and ConFuzzled Meme
General | Posted 9 years agoIt seems up until today I hadn't made a journal or posted an image in SIX MONTHS?! So here's whats been going on in my life:
Work - All work no play
Around the time of my unintentional hiatus I started a new job, which started off training at other locations around the East Midlands while we prepared for our grand opening in November 2015 so I was spending several hours a day travelling by bus and train to work (which work paid the expenses for!) and I thought that the long hours would be over when we finally opened.
November came and the grand opening began, it felt very weird only having to travel less than 30mins to work unlike the at least 90mins however then my hours shot right up from around 35 to at least 50 each week, spending around 12hours at least everyday at work, it was pretty intense and very hard work, a lot of breaking point stress but we managed to work it out as a team.
Some people quit a long the way so it got progressively harder to cope with the stress when we now had to recruit and train new people. However as a result of that I was promoted to a Team Leader, so im still in the training process of that and my hours on average were around 50hrs a week.
Were still having to recruit and train new people as some just cannot cope in different ways - now ive been chosen to handle all the recruitment e.g. reading CVs, interviewing, work trials and hiring people.
But next week my hours are slowly going down so I might actually be able to do some drawing again!
Personal Life
At the minute my personal life is pretty basic, I see a couple of my best friends once or twice a week but I work every weekend without fail so I dont really get a chance to go to furmeets anymore or go to see friends on the weekends so life is pretty lonely in that respect but I still have my lovely draggy Danza with me to keep me company, and sane, haha.
Went to Scotiacon in November aswell and had a fantastic time there! I love Scotland, I think its an amazing place and I love seeing all my friends up there. Scotiacon was a very relaxed, close con which I really enjoyed! As the con spaces arent that large you see people more regularly and there was only one bar in the hotel so it was easy to meet people there as pretty much everyone was in there!
Other than that I havent done too much nor have I really gone anywhere! lol. However it's Danza 's birthday in a few weeks time and I am looking forward to that! Also ConFuzzled in only around 5 weeks away, although I havent't got the con hype yet Im looking forward to it nonetheless!

Life Update, Commission work + Holiday
General | Posted 10 years agoJust got back from spending the weekend with my parents at their place, was really nice to just chill out with them, go to the local for a few drinks etc was just so relaxing, now Im feeling a bit tense thinking about all the things I need to do now and how everything is going to work out but we shall see I suppose.
Life Update
I havent really said a lot about whats been going on with me lately except on a little bit with Twitter.
I've been having a lot of trouble lately with my Depression and Anxiety, I went to the doctors last year about it and was put on Antidepressants, after around 2 months I accidentally missed my appointment by 1day then my doctor was away for 2 weeks, I never arranged an appointment which was a massive mistake and I just sunk back into my old ways, except more recently it got a lot worse, I was nearly having panic attacks at work, breaking down a lot and everything about me was different, I just couldn't cope anymore.
After one night of nearly being completely devastated by a personal event I knew it had gone too far and booked to go back to the doctors again, in that time I spoke to my boss, explained everything that had been going on and thankfully he gave me reassurance and was very positive about the whole thing.
When I went back to the doctors (13/03/15) they signed me off from work for 2 weeks with my depression which gave me some time to readjust to my pills and try and settle. I still need to sort out counselling but I havent chosen which one to go for just yet.
I went back to work last Monday and everything is going okay so far, just settling back in. On wednesday (08/04/15) I have to go to a formal meeting at work to discuss my sickness which will hopefully end up positive, really trying not to freak out about it.
It really wasnt the easiest thing to do and neither was writing all this ><
Commissions
Commissions are now CLOSED, I have quite a few to do now (list in in the journal footer) which I should hopefully get done over the next 2-4weeks then I most likely wont be open again until the end of ConFuzzled 2015.
If you feel I'm taking too much time to start your commission just say and I will give you a refund.
Holiday
From April 16th-24th Danza and I will be going to Glasgow to stay with Alex Silverfang and Blizzy, I most likely wont be on FA at all during this time, I may glance over it now and again to check notes etc but thats it. Will be my first time in Scotland so I'm really looking forward to it.
Not the most positive journal in the world but there will be some light at the end of the tunnel.

I've been having a lot of trouble lately with my Depression and Anxiety, I went to the doctors last year about it and was put on Antidepressants, after around 2 months I accidentally missed my appointment by 1day then my doctor was away for 2 weeks, I never arranged an appointment which was a massive mistake and I just sunk back into my old ways, except more recently it got a lot worse, I was nearly having panic attacks at work, breaking down a lot and everything about me was different, I just couldn't cope anymore.
After one night of nearly being completely devastated by a personal event I knew it had gone too far and booked to go back to the doctors again, in that time I spoke to my boss, explained everything that had been going on and thankfully he gave me reassurance and was very positive about the whole thing.
When I went back to the doctors (13/03/15) they signed me off from work for 2 weeks with my depression which gave me some time to readjust to my pills and try and settle. I still need to sort out counselling but I havent chosen which one to go for just yet.
I went back to work last Monday and everything is going okay so far, just settling back in. On wednesday (08/04/15) I have to go to a formal meeting at work to discuss my sickness which will hopefully end up positive, really trying not to freak out about it.
It really wasnt the easiest thing to do and neither was writing all this ><
Commissions
Commissions are now CLOSED, I have quite a few to do now (list in in the journal footer) which I should hopefully get done over the next 2-4weeks then I most likely wont be open again until the end of ConFuzzled 2015.
If you feel I'm taking too much time to start your commission just say and I will give you a refund.
Holiday
From April 16th-24th Danza and I will be going to Glasgow to stay with Alex Silverfang and Blizzy, I most likely wont be on FA at all during this time, I may glance over it now and again to check notes etc but thats it. Will be my first time in Scotland so I'm really looking forward to it.
Not the most positive journal in the world but there will be some light at the end of the tunnel.

Holiday and Birthday
General | Posted 12 years agoFrom today until september 8th I will be on holiday in Turkey with Danza ^^
Kinda feels weird going on holiday, doesn't feel like we're going anywhere, but I'm excited!
Also on Saturday, 31st august, It is my birthday :3 I will then be 23!
I kinda feel happy about turning 23 I've made so much progress this year with my career and I really feel I'm getting somewhere!
Also thank you all for watching me and liking my art sometimes I feel really down that I can't draw a lot of things but I'm really starting to like some of my art I've done recently :)

Feel like I've done soooo much over the past 5 years looking back o.o Organised several furmeets (in different locations!) went to my first Con, Got my partial fursuit, got back into drawing
All I can say really is thanks to the people who I have known and got to know over the past 5 years you've made it a very fun and interesting time and I look forward to all the times ahead! ^^

General | Posted 13 years agoLast night was one of the worst times of my life.. danza 's father passed away after a long struggle with a heart attack, cancer, lung disease and other horrid illness'. I will miss him a lot he did a lot for everyone and always treated me like a daughter, he always supported me and i will never forget all the things hes done for so many of us the past few years ive known him..
Goodbye Peter, you were a great man and will never be forgotten...

I set myself up with a decent loan from the bank which I should comfortably be able to pay off too so financially I should be okayish just the loan repayments I'll have to do commissions for.

"My Dad is moving out of this house I've stayed in for the last 6 years on Monday 19th December. The internet, phone and TV will be getting cut off on the evening of the 18th [Sunday]
Me and lozbunneh are able to stay here until the end of December as the rent is paid up for that. After that date Loz will have to move back home and I need to go live on the Sofa at my Dads new place.
This has happened because we where meant to move into our flat her uncle acquired for us [to pay him rent etc] but the assessors for the property have taken over 6 weeks to file the documentation that should have been done in a week or two TOPS. This means if we are unable to move out by the 23rd of December then we have to wait till at least the 7th [more likely later than that] before we can move in.
Its all been a right hassle and it must be so frustrating for Loz's uncle as its his money sat there doing nothing while he's trying to get on and make a bit of money via property renting.
TL:DR Version:

Seems like a lot longer than 3 years, not that that's a bad thing at all, I've loved it heh :3
Surprised he isn't sick of me to be honest, gone the max of about 5-6days apart, lived with him at his parents house for nearly 2 years. It's nice feeling so close to someone that we pretty much do everything together and we know everything about each other, its very natural now for us to do things that we know the other will ask them to do, lol.
We have our ups and downs and sometimes thing it's a bit unbearable to be around eachothers bad habits all the time but everything sorts itself out soon enough, when we diagree about things we always have a discussion after and come to a compromise, which is nice n.n
I love you a lot hunny, I'm looking forward to my future with you. Thinking about our future together has never frightened me, I have always looked forward to it :)
