English: I've been thinking about it lately. First of all, I actually used to participate in contests on writing forums that I frequent because I had no ideas and I didn't know how to come up with them, the same for Wattpad. Then I learned about the Jim Butcher method and I bought the Rory Story Cube dice. I wanted to try them because I wanted some ideas that didn't come from some contest so I could have more freedom and say that the stories were only mine and not for the contest. And it also worked because now I have several ideas that were backlogged and that I should probably catch up on. Even this month on deviantart there's the mermay event where people have fun making mermaid-themed drawings. And thinking back to this, to the movie "The Little Mermaid" and the last episode of the third season of "My Name is Earl" "Camdenites", gave me a new idea, that maybe I could turn into a children's story, that I could publish together with the book whose draft I've already finished. Obviously, there's that. I'm still going to the theater course. But, having finished the first draft of my book, in the revision phase I have the doubt that some things are too hasty. I will obviously revise it, but I don't know if I should write this new idea in the meantime or write something else in general to recover the ideas I have left behind to pass the time. There's also a long art trade comic I'm working on, and I've already gotten to 46 pages of sketches, and they're not all yet. And even in this case I wonder if I should concentrate on it completely or draw even something else too.

Italiano: Ultimamente sto riflettendo. Prima di tutto c'è il fatto che effettivamente io partecipavo ai contest dei forum di scrittura che frequento perché non avevo idee e non sapevo come farmele venire, lo stesso per Wattpad. Poi però ho conosciuto il metodo Jim Butcher ed ho comprato i dadi Rory Story Cube. Volevo provarli perché appunto volevo qualche idea che non derivasse da qualche contest in modo da avere più libertà e dire che le storie fossero solo mie e non per il contest. E ha anche funzionato perché adesso ho varie idee arretrate che forse dovrei recuperare. Persino in questo mese qui c'è l'evento mermay, ovvero mermaggio in italiano, dove appunto ci si diverte a fare disegni a tema sirene. E ripensare a questo, al film "La sirenetta" e all'ultimo episodio della terza stagione di "My Name is Earl" "Camdeniti", mi ha dato una nuova idea, che forse potrei trasformare in un racconto per bambini, che potrei pubblicare insieme al libro di cui ho già finito la bozza. Ovviamente c'è appunto questo. Al corso di teatro ci sto ancora andando. Ma appunto, avendo finito la prima stesura del mio libro, nella fase di revisione ho il dubbio che alcune cose siano troppo frettolose. Lo revisionerò ovviamente, ma appunto non so se dovrei nel frattempo scrivere questa nuova idea o scrivere in generale qualcos'altro per recuperare le idee arretrate per passare il tempo. C'è anche un fumetto art trade lungo a cui sto lavorando, e sono già arrivato a fare gli sketch di 46 pagine, e non sono ancora tutte. E anche in questo caso mi chiedo se dovrei concentarmici completamente o disegnare anche altro.

English: Finally I did it! I completed my book. In total there are Prologue, Epilogue and 46 chapters! Of course I have to revise it before publishing, but the most is done. Now I can take it easy, and dedicate myself to other things again.

English: Hello. As you may have noticed, I haven't been posting any drawings lately, and the reason is that I'm writing a book, not a fan fiction, but a real book that I want to publish officially. And so I'm dedicating myself completely to it. In fact, I also have some backlog of trade art that I'll have to catch up on when I'm done, but I'll catch up, because I'm an honest person and I always finish my part. I just ask that those I'm doing it with be patient until then.

As you know, I closed the requests because they were endless without the possibility of a break. Obviously I know I have to open them again because sometimes I ask for them too and therefore it is right that I grant them to others. But I'm afraid of being swamped again if I open them. So I was wondering, do any of you have any advice for me on how I could organize requests sensibly?

So, I've been thinking about something. So I leave it to you to suggest some.


Let's clarify three details obviously.


1) I'll start working on it around November, because I'm busy with the drawtober, and above all I have some art trades to catch up on for that month. And I also have a story to write for a Wattpad contest by Halloween.


2) I will not accept everything totally and unconditionally. Just what I think is suitable and compatible with my characters and what I want to do.


3) I don't guarantee it will be done soon because working with clip flips is tiring.


That said, I'm now open to your suggestions.

English: In the past for years I have never posted anything in my profile because I thought I was not good at drawing. Then at some point I started posting the requests that others made for me (saying who had made them) because I wanted to show that even if I didn't know how to draw at least I had some good ideas. But then I found out that I'm better than I thought at drawing and I finally started posting the stuff I did. But despite the countless drawings I have done, I have received few comments. This is why I ask myself, what do I have to do to receive some more? What did I do wrong?


Italiano: In passato per anni non ho mai postato nulla nel mio profilo perché pensavo di non essere bravo a disegnare. Poi ad un certo punto ho cominciato a postare le request che altri hanno fatto per me (dicendo chi le aveva fatte) perché volevo mostrare che anche se non sapevo disegnare almeno avevo delle buone idee. Ma poi ho scoperto che sono più bravo di quanto credessi nel disegno ed ho cominciato finalmente a postare la roba che ho fatto io. Ma, nonostante gli innumerevoli disegni che ho fatto, ho ricevuto pochi commenti. Per questo mi chiedo, cosa devo fare per riceverne qualcuno di più? Cosa ho sbagliato?

Since I feel the need to draw something and I have no idea what to do. I decided to make mermaid-themed requests.

Obviously I only allow 3 slots. And I can refuse what is asked of me. I also consider this an experiment that could make me decide to reopen requests in the future (albeit with limitations).

Obviously I don't do comics, because I'm already working on a big one, and so I don't want too complex commitments in this moment.

So, since it's Halloween week, but I don't know what I could do, but I want to do something, I've decided that from now until October 31st I partially open the requests.
