I've uploaded 2 little pieces related to my "Reptile People" comics project. But, beside this and a special lulzy request, there might be an independant production next year, eventually, for the Anthisnes fantasy con in next April: it's probably gonna be 6 large drawings featuring anthro hyenas, a little porfolio. And rather fantasy/were art than furry. The drawings will take time, so don't be surprised if there's only 1 or 2 submissions a month (especially during the autumn, when very few time for drawings will be left).

As most have already noticed, I don't commission nor take commissions: when I see several on-line friends here being very "limit" about money, I'd really feel bad taking a few dollars (or rather euro's) for a badge or an icon. Well, that's just me.

And believe it or not, I have no furry art prints and such home (the psychedelic forest aside, which is fantasy & were art rather than furry): it's all Nature and mushrooms! - *hyena-laughs*

Furry fandom is just fun for me, not money, and I don't think it's gonna change.

I ain't very active in the fandom, I'm more like "staying at the edge" (I'm more a therian than anything else, although, there also, I have my limits). From what I can see from the corner of the fandom, there's good stuff, but also much bad stuff.

Good stuff is: cool artwork, sharing interest in anthro and fantasy creatures, seeing friends meet other friends, having cool and fun discussions, maybe sometimes drinking a bit too much booze... well, this is the good side.

But wait, does the furry fandom REALLY have to be surrounded by such a bunch of lamers, immature bitchers, stinky morons with absolutely no idea about how to behave in a society (sharing the same interest BTW), cretins who can't make the difference between naughty fetishes to draw and to play in internet RPG's, annd to become to YIFF IN FURSUITS, PUBLICLY, AT A CON!?! C'm'on, where's the COMMON SENSE? And what to say about those who have absolutely no respect toward artists, one way or another, some of you know what I'm talking about.

And yeah I know, the fandom is known for the drama's. I know some furries and therians are oversensitive, not their fault. And I know some furries/therians had a really fucked-up youth for some or other reasons, but man, does it REALLY have to ruin a con?

And the trolls: I know I have the tendency to consider a part of the fandom as a BIG SATIRE (e.g. trolling lamers who think BAWWW FURRIEZ RUINED ME LIEF), I know I tend to post pun and jokes (even naughty ones) but wait: beginning to spread shite at cons? Stealing and bugging artists? Making disrespectful comments?

There are places to troll, like lulz.net. But goddamnit, when will some be able to make the difference between places where one can troll and places where one should behave, between places where to yiff and places where you MUST behave, and I could tell more!!

tl;dr: NO I don't go to cons, NO I don't take commissions, NO I don't wanna deal with the bullshit. I'm still here for online friends and for the fun, and fuck the bullshit.

It's all common sense, rules & laws or not (because some know how little respect I have for some laws).

Except a doodle once in a while, currently I draw very few - but still having projects for when I feel like it. Several reasons for that:

1 - I have my job, it's botany and it's the full season. And then, I'm a mycologist, I've bought good mycology material not long ago (still have things to buy little by little) and it's much work and much study. It's a passion since I was a kid, I begun mycology at the age of 12. If there wouldn't have been all those therianthropy issues that took too much time to solve, due to too much past stupid, I'd have been among the best Belgian mycologists. I have too much to catch again alas, but I'm doing my best to raise my level again. I'll maybe have several field camps this year.

2 - The comics: Reptile People. It's delayed, not yet cancelled, but simply said I don't feel like it currently. I somewhat consider I am in a sort of spiritual crisis, and I've finally rejected all human-made religions, because systems and dogma's, I don't wanna obey that. Deism or agnosticism? Idunno exactly. Something internal, but nothing really shared, except with the Nature. Idunno exactly if I'm still willing to draw the story I have imagined about the Tree Dwellers and the Forest Tarot. I'm under the impression most people won't understand the way I conceived it.
I think I'll draw a portfolio about the Forest, featuring the Tree Dwellers, for next Spring, before I decide if I take back the comics or not.
Meanwhile, I think there's still gonna be one hyena or another once in a while.

And that's about it.

... and I thought that could be a good idea for this place also. I rarely write journals, so yup, here's one a bit constructive.

First, thank you all for watches and fav's. I'm transferring most of my watches little by litte, and watching clean artists also. Thank you to all those who're already watching me and who've faved my stuff.
