Apr 1st
I find out that I am denied disability AFTER appealing to a judge. Just so happens that I was "Dealt one of the hardest judges in the deck". Also, I was told that if I had ANY other judge, I would have gotten my disability. Too bad it wasn't an April Fools Joke...

Apr 4th
Dog ran away got ran over and killed instantly by a car. Luckily the person responsible was nice enough to leave a note at the door (Since we weren't home at the time) with a sincere apology and a phone number to contact her.

Apr 18th
found out my mom went to the ER with a blood sugar of 385, twice the healthy amount for a woman her age.

Apr 19th (today)
Found out my mom has type 2 diabetes and will be on medication probably for the rest of her life
Got into an accident that was my fault. I'm under 21, this is my first wreck, the other guy drove off after everything and everyone had been talked to, and we are broke enough as it is. My truck might be totaled to boot, but who knows...? It might be salvageable.....
My $100 RC video helicopter broke at the ONLY spot that has NO spare part in the package, and now it won't fly at all....


Is it just me, or does my life seem to hate me this month? Did I mention my birthday is 4 days away?

I can count how many comments I have received on my journals. It isn't very many at all. It makes me feel like nobody cares enough to even really glance at my journals to see if it interests them.
I mean.....I take the time to read at least HALF of the journals who's titles catch my eye. Then I at least think about commenting. I honestly feel like...like nobody on the site really cares enough to say much to me. There are a select few that this doesn't apply to, you know who you are. but to the rest, honestly. It's been like this for me since Elementary through half of high school. The other half I was luck enough to make some really good friends. Other than that, I have never had anyone that really cares.
I just hope someone reads this...

I made this video 4 years ago with a couple friends back in Tennessee when I still lived there. It isn't the best in the world, but I like it. Makes me laugh about how corny it turned out and how un-rehearsed it was. Yes, I recorded this all in one take using what I call the "pause-and-record method". This was completely unrehearsed and we had no special effects. At all. I didn't edit it in any way and this was recorded on a camera phone (A Nokia something-something). Anyway, enjoy!

I know a lot of people don't understand the difference between gun CONTROL and banning firearms altogether.
Gun CONTROL is when you reduce the ease of getting a gun or enforcing laws that keep insane people or people showing signs of mental instability.
Gun BANS are when guns are taken away from the general public altogether, meaning that you would have to acquire one illegally just to have one.
Guns don't kill people, PEOPLE kill people. Guns don't just sprout arms and legs, waltz up to someone and pull their own trigger! No! It takes an intentional human effort to pull the trigger of a gun and kill someone. It isn't the gun's fault, it's the human's fault.
If you blame guns for killing people, then:
You can blame airplanes for plane crashes
You can blame cars for causing wrecks
You can blame the keys on my computer for typing words

If guns kill people then:
Cars make people drive drunk
Pencils misspell words
Computer keys make typos
Spoons make people fat

Keeping Weapons Legal

My dad walked out of the Raleigh Springs Mall one night and had a gun pointed to his head. Fortunately, the crooks got scared off during the robbery; but it could have turned out a lot worse than just being robbed. My dad was unarmed. In Uganda in 1970 the government made it illegal for anyone except the military and the police to have guns. By 1979 over 300,000 Ugandan citizens had been murdered by their government. Do you think it can't happen here in the United States?


The right to own and carry a gun has been a hot topic for years. Some people say keeping guns legal is a good idea. Others say no, it's better to make guns illegal.
More than 200 years ago James Madison drafted the Bill of Rights. The second amendment to our Constitution is one of our most cherished – The right to keep and bear arms. That means that you and I have an individual right to own and carry a weapon. We have a right to own a weapon for personal defense, for security and for hunting. The second amendment provides us a right that no state or local government can take away. I want to tell you why the second amendment is important and what could happen if we ever lose that right.



Let's look at some of the countries that have laws prohibiting their citizens from having guns. China, for instance; only the military and the police are allowed to have weapons. The government has made it illegal for any private citizen to own or carry a weapon. It is a communist country where the citizens have no freedom. Several years ago, people who wanted a little more freedom were shot and killed by the government. They couldn't defend themselves. I wouldn't want to live in that kind of a country.


Mexico doesn't prohibit guns; but has some rather strict gun laws. They have to get approval from the Defense Ministry, get an extensive background check, and go through a lot of government regulations and then Mexican citizens may purchase arms for self-protection or hunting. The Mexican government does not make it easy to own a gun in Mexico. If you follow the news, you can see all of the violence and all the murders and kidnappings that happen every day in Mexico. Maybe, if the victims had guns, they would have been able to protect themselves.

In Nazi Germany, the gun control laws that disarmed all the people allowed the Nazi's to wipe out anyone who opposed the way they were running the country.

Our Founding Fathers wrote a great constitution. They wanted to ensure that the government was a servant of the people, not the citizens being a servant of the government; and that we Americans had the right to own and carry a weapon.
George Washington said; “A free people ought to be armed.”
James Madison said; “Americans possess the advantage of being armed over the people of almost every other nation. Their governments are afraid to trust the people with arms."


Recently, a well respected criminologist who did a study of crime incidents said that crime victims who defend themselves with guns are less likely to be injured or suffer a loss of property than victims who didn't resist or resisted without guns. He wasn't only referring to robbery victims; but also victims of rape, kidnappings, and murders. Possible victims who resisted with a weapon were less likely to be victimized.


I know everyone doesn't agree with me. There are a lot of people that believe by making guns illegal it would make our society safer. They consider things like people committing more crimes just because they have a weapon, children getting shot accidentally, youth having the opportunity of getting guns when so many are available, people getting shot while trying to fight off a robber and some people are just against hunting. I'll agree that sometimes the unsafe handling of guns can cause problems; but much of that can be eliminated with gun safety training and training on how to use a gun properly. Others believe that owning a gun promotes violence. Face it – violence has been around forever and making guns illegal won't make the situation any better. If only the bad guys had guns, robbers wouldn't have a fear of getting shot when they commit a crime.


Let me share some facts with you. In 1966 New Jersey adopted the strictest gun laws in the United States. Two years later, the murder rate was up 46% and the robbery rate had doubled.

In 1968 Hawaii enacted a series of restrictive laws on guns. The murder rate tripled from 1968 to 1977.

In 1976 Washington DC enacted very strict gun control laws. Since then, the city's murder rate has risen 134%. These are just a few examples of how violent crime rose after handguns were heavily restricted.


People who believe in gun control are generally law abiding citizens who put trust in the government for protection and safety. People who oppose gun control usually put more trust in themselves for protection rather for protection and safety rather than the government. There are a whole lot more ordinary people than there are police. Depending on where you are in the U.S., statistics show that there are 1 to 4 policemen for every 1000 people. The police can’t be everywhere. We have to be able to protect ourselves. The right to own a weapon and proper training for that weapon is necessary in today's world.


Some people argue that the second amendment is meant only for arming militias. That's been a fight through the courts for many years. The Supreme court of the United States disagrees and says it means that everyone, including you and I, has the right to own and carry a gun.
Even George Washington said that a free people ought to be armed. And why is this true? Well, to sum it up, look at the countries that have had guns taken away from it's citizens. Communist China, a country that shoots its citizens for disagreeing with the government. Nazi Germany, a government that murdered millions of Jews during the second world war, Uganda, a country that slaughtered 300,000 of it’s citizens. And there are countless numbers of other examples of countries that have committed crimes against its citizens.
Also look at how the very restrictive gun laws affected crime rates in some of our cities and states. In New Jersey, Hawaii and Washington DC crime increased dramatically when strict gun laws were enacted.

Remember, the right to bear arms is what keeps our government a servant of the citizens and us a free people. The way I look at it, “Go for your gun, then dial 911”.

Our son was born healthy on 12/4 and my fiancé is doing great. We are home now and things are looking good! I'm a very happy father! The dog is being gentle with him, which surprises me since she is always so hyper, and the cat is looking at us like "Not another baby!" (Because my fiancé's mom used to babysit like 15 kids at a time and the cat was there for every one of them). The only problem we have is that he is a hard feeder. For those of you who don't know, that means it is hard to get him to feed. He is doing better about it now, though he will only feed from the bottle and even then only from my fiancé's hand. He feeds from mine and her mom's, but not very much. Like less than 5mL(the bottle has marks on it to measure in mL) in like 25 minutes.

As you will see, I can't handle turd, and now, because I am such a wuss, I can't even stand it holding my breath.

Well, let's see...where to start....

First off I proposed to my mate on Christmas 2011 with "Crazy Girl" by the Eli Young band playing in the background. She said yes and made me the happiest man I have ever been. I spent a chunk of money on the engagement ring and wedding bands at the jewelry store downtown. We moved to a new house shortly after due to our neighbors at the time. We are now settled in to our new house, but we still have things packed up and stacked up everywhere.

Then, in April 2012, we tried for a pup and succeeded. I will be the happy (but nervous) father of our little cub, who we are expecting to come around December 9th. Preferably NOT during a snowstorm. If that happens, we will not be going to the hospital. We will call an ambulance instead. I wouldn't be able to drive in that kind of weather knowing my fiancé is in labor and wouldn't risk driving on icy roads anyway.

Lastly, I got a complete welding set for Christmas of 2011, which includes a stationary welder (220V), a portable welder (110V), a plasma cutter (110V), and an auto-darkening welding helmet, and will be making my own metal/yard art after we get our shed cleaned out a little more. We have the shed wired, but there just isn't enough room for me to work at the moment. I will be taking small custom orders, as I am not very skilled as of yet. As I become more skilled and more confident, I will take bigger custom orders.

I won't be on FA every day like I used to. I will be on 4 days a week at most. Though I will always be a proud furry, these things are important and come before the fandom.

I am FINALLY settled in at my mate's place! It took 6 hours of hard work after I got here, but I finally got everything squared away. I am going to finish school up here, then get online college courses for programming and computer repair. My mate and I will be attempting to open a programming/computer repair company for the locals, who have no real professional computer repairman. Thank you all for your support!

I am moving in with my mate TODAY! Please, wish me luck on these icy roads and hazardous conditions! I will be moving basically more that half the stuff in my room and garage (Guns, crossbow, TV, consoles, guitars) so that might help the vehicle's traction with the weight and all.
