Forgive my all caps rage. Just got off the bandages I was wearing for the weekend. Had an accident during the weekend which involved a steel barrel filled with cement mix making impact with me like one of those House of the Dead 4 scenarios...ugh...

It was a lot less painful when I first felt the blow. I guess it must have been serious though if I coughed up some blood. I was supposed to stay in bed the following day...but I got in trouble again for sneaking out without permission. Why don't parents understand that if I want to recover quickly is to get my body moving again, not hole in my room where no activity cripples my body. With the bandages finally removed, I can feel the pain a lit more now, but it's fading quickly enough for me to be allowed to attend class.

I guess when you look at it, there's a moral to this situation...

So, yeah, last night I came home late from my classmate's 18th birthday(it's a girl, hence the debut) at around past 12am Saturday night(or depending on your opinion, Sunday morning). Originally I was just going to be one of the guests, so I arrive early, greet her parents and take a seat. Everything's fine, more people arrive, I chat with my old classmates when they arrive(apparently I was the first guest to arrive that night), everything's cool...then her mom approaches me and give me a card with "Rose #5" written on it. Apparently there weren't enough male family members and close family friends there so I, along with our other guy classmates, were automatically chosen to be part of the 18 Roses. I guess I was ok, until I read on the card that I'd have to dance with the débutante for an entire 5mins. I couldn't dance to save my life, let alone something as formal as in a debut. Luckily the dance was the Waltz, one of the only 2 dances I know, the other being the Tango. So aside from embarrassing myself in front of the audience(they may have thought it was amazing, but I, being the introverted kitsune that I am, was completely embarrassed), everything went well and without a hitch. I was wiped when I got home, but unfortunately, there was one more surprise waiting for me in bed...but hey, at least it's Sunday today, so I'll have all day to rest myself up. After all, pleasing people and keeping promises is hard work.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got an appointment with a shotgun and some melee-mouthed bastards...

So I've recently started playing these two games-F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin in our local iCafe and Dead Space 2 on my friend's laptop. So I'm starting to like these two so far, though I'm not sure which one is more popular. For Dead Space 2, I like how the enemies look and how you have to beat them(apparently, you can't go on just shooting every enemy you come across). On the other hand, F.E.A.R 2 pros for me are how the weapons look(My faves are the Patten PK470 Assault Rifle, Vollmer Ultra92 Automatic Shotgun, Raab KM50 Sniper Rifle, and Armacham Type-12 Pulse Weapon) and the game's plot. Another thing about F2, it makes you(or in my case, tries to make you) more aware of the surroundings, even in a battle, as one unnoticed grenade or irregular field/map conditions(live wires in water, gas leaks caught on fire, blah blah blah) can quickly bring you down to an instant game over. Overall, I really like both titles, and is a refreshing twist to my usual serving of Team Fortress 2 and Left4Dead2, where you simply hack away at everything with bullets, bombs, sharp stuff, etc. Though right now I think I'll go on to finish DS2, since I just cleared F2 a while ago.

Anywayz...if you guys have tried these two games, which do you prefer?

It's no surprise that when listening to the evening news you will occasionally hear about the untimely death of famous personalities, whether by peaceful or not-so-peaceful ways.

Though recently I've been disturbed by the recent headlines that have been flashed in the past few nights. It's certainly not the first time that two major personalities have had some tragic developments, but for me these were just downright nasty. The murder of Ram Revilla, for example was a very disturbing story to air on the news, as well as the murder of the father of the popular singer Charice Pempengco. It's not my first time to hear about those kinds of stories in the news, but these one's made me question the current state of our society. I don't want to say that most Filipinos are like criminals, but with the recent incidents I'm afraid that it can't be helped, especially to the minds of the foriegners that visit our country. It's times like these that I start to wonder, "Just how much more lives must we lose before people realize that violence and hatred only breed a cycle of vengeance and conflict?"

My condolences to the families of the Revillas and the Pempengcos.

After getting home from today's Technika tournament, I'm glad to say that, despite the painful feeling in my right hand, I am quite satisfied with my performance. Granted it wasn't a perfect performance, but I didn't plan on winning anyways. Just show up, shew 'em what you got, and see what happens. After all, it's all good fun, right? Being able to keep up with the top elite players is good enough for me. Now to wait for the top 18...

Have you ever had that morning? One where you just wish the sun would go out and let you sleep for all eternity. One where you wish you could turn everything around you silent and dull.

Then you pick up the scent of your favorite food, literally making you jump out of bed, making you take that shower and get dressed in a heartbeat fust so you could get seated at the table and eat the food that gives joy to your life. Clearly a great start to any morning.

1. The internet was being shit at the resort.
2. Suffered from an extreme hang-over from Monday's night activities.(How the hell do you get drunk on soda!?)

I can honestly say that my weekend vacation was a horrible time. Period.
Despite there being good things, it was overall a terrible 4 day pain.

It's been raining continuously for the past week. You can't imagine what students like me go through everyday just to get to school. Classes for grade school and high school have already been canceled, while college students are forced to thread through heavy rains and irritating traffic jams because an absent will be a major blow to you grades. Apparently the government thinks colleges and it's students are waterproof. The week is barely over and I've already gotten to school thrice with at least some part of my body soaking wet. Just seeing rain outside the window makes me feel cold inside. I could really go for some warm soup right about now...

Today's class was very uneventful despite our new proffesor. It was 9:17 am in the classroom. I was hanging out with my friends wolfjedisamuel, lorenz the self-proclaimed douche, and resident funny indian Rolli as we were making up some really wacked out Team Fortress jokes when the new prof walked in. Nothing special, just your basic, average, old teacher carrying some whiteboard markers and a laptop. So we did the usual routine of introducing ourselves by alphabetic order. When the lesson started, I immediately fell asleep after the first 30 mins. I woke up after being tapped by wjs, showing me a LOL picture of Rolli. I won't describe it in full detail, clearly becuase the only way you'd understand the drawing is if you were high. It's just one of those atempts to exterminate boredom.(Preferably with a butterfly knife.) Hopefully I'll be able to stay up in class more often with wjs's help.
