After nearly 18 months without furry events, I am so excited to be attending my first furry event post-pandemic in the form of a picnic. Fuck I am buzzing...

Third Furlandia, and first time rooming at the con hotel. You'll see me all three days rocking my tailfeathers. :>

For the longest time, I had no interest in gaming. I saw it as a waste of time that could be better spent doing other things. But now, that is beginning to change...

Nothing new; I'm still looking for work, and am planning to attend Furlandia in May. That's all.

September has arrived, which means upcoming hatchday, and time to put up the autumn icon from  jasmae. I'm also officially registered for AnthroNW. Can't wait for November to arrive. :>

At long last, I'm going to my first furry con! Just registered for Furlandia. Super excited, since the furmeets I've been to so far have been so much fun. I'm staying with a friend of my mom's who lives in the area, so I will not need a room or accommodations (I will be open to offers, however). From the shadows of depression and misery, I have emerged, for real. Free of self-judgement, free of past worries, and finally able to let go of past hatred and loathing toward myself and toward others. No longer nervous of judgement over my dreams and desires, no longer afraid of social interaction, no longer believing that I don't have any control of my life, no longer hiding my true self, and most of all, finally comfortable with who I am. I've overcome many negative thought patterns, many self-defeating and enclosing beliefs, and I've finally found the flame to guide me. A new outlook, a lifetime of fun and happiness, and a bright future await me...

...is how long I've been in the fandom. In that time, I have gone from drifting to having a fursona, and having a long-desired dream to be able to draw awakened once again. For someone who has tried and failed several times before at learning how to draw, part of me doesn't want to do it again, but at the same time, part of me thinks that it is the only way forward...
