Surgery
Posted a year agoI have an upcoming surgery on March 28th. I won't be able to work for 30 days.
Commissions and Patreon are my only source of income right now, I didn't managed to open for discount sketch commissions on time, so Ko-fi open for donations, if you feel like donating it would help a lot to have any amount safe for unforeseen expenses in this period.

January has passed so quick, I blinked and we're already on mid February... wat? Anyways. Hope everyone is fine. Things here are better, and I got one step at a time. Also this girl took her 3d vaccine shot last month, yasss. I'm fully vaccinated now <3
Let's go to the topic! I usually announce commission changes around January, but IRL enjoys being a truck hahaha. I was excited to announce this update, wrote a bit more and discussed some months ago in my Patreon :3

I've invested a lot of time this last year in learning, practicing, taking classes, etc, I started to build my own assets library, I'm constantly trying to improve. Bigger commissions pieces are taking more and more time, with the final product being a lot more polished, I felt that for what I offer it was time to update the price of some comm types.
>> For those on the waiting list I already give a quote (total value) for their pieces and this value won't change, it would be unfair to change it when is your turn, so you guys get it until your piece is completed. People who enters the waiting list form today February 13th on will be under the new values.
>> For Patreons, the old price will be until March this year, as well Patreons from the tier "The Sunset" will now get a 10% off on any adoptable I do from this date on.
Regarding social media, (except Patreon). Twitter, Furaffinity and Deviantart are now my main places. I'm no longer updating Instagram and Tumblr. I still check from time to time, but rarely. Nowadays I'm far more comfy here on Furaffinity and Twitter <3

I'm working on a big job I got in the last 2 months, I apology for the lack of updates, but I think that next month it shall be completed and I can take a breath and return to work on my world building, lore and designs, my usual workflow.
This month has been insane, this year to be honest, (lso had amazing stuff, bless these!), but December was hardcore. The last 6 months were hardcore.
My area was hit with a storm and we were without power for 2 days straight, any day without fully working is a loss and delay. I'm already with a lot to finish, so that was a pain. We lost some food, some people on the far side of my neighborhood had water inside their houses, as well there were other parts of the town that was a full water chaos.
My mother had an accident in August, broke her collar bone and was immobilized her dominant arm completely for 2 months, as well her old hand lesion was aggravated. I had to take care of her, and her recovery was so slow. Things could be faster, but my mom is a total sedentary woman and very stubborn too. Happy that in January she will be fully done with her physical therapy.
Me, and my relatives passed through a huge loss this Xmas. Our uncle (my mother's brother) that we considered an "uncle-father" figure in our family passed away, and we buried him on the Xmas eve. My mom (who's still doing physical therapy due to her accident) who is an old lady had lost all of her ground, she went days without eating or sleeping properly. As I'm the only one who lives with her (my sister can only come by on weekends) I had to stop everything and take care of her, until she was fine to go back to her daily routine. I was also feeling his loss deeply. He didn't live near us as some of my relatives do, so we went very far from where we live, by train, by uber, bus, etc. He lived in other countie.
He was one of the two relatives that supported what I do today, he supported me choosing art for the rest of my life, who supported my art, while others in my family clearly don't like me, and what I do for a living. I'll remember him with so much love.
I usually don't vent personal matters as this, but this time me I feel like doing a bit since I've been absent on FA and DA. My mom and all the family were hit aggressively in Xmas time. I apologies for my lack of updates here and new posts, I was still trying to make one world building post before the December rewards post on Patreon and here, but things happened. Time passed by, and when I noticed one and a half week was gone.
This next January, or February (looking to see how things goes) I'll take a full break from work, something like 15 days or so. Patreon will still be updated, but slowly. Rewards will be done in a later part of the month.
What's keep me going?
Art, friends, you guys. Every person that supports my art, on patreon, through commissions, faved, on a like, on a comment, it kept me going. (Also boxing and exercise. A week and half later I went on exercising like crazy, and also doing stretch to relief the body a bit. Made miracles on me)
These are the pillars that keep me going. THANK YOU SO MUCH, thank you for supporting what I do <3
I wanna do more, update my social medias and all, but for now, focusing on finishing the big job I got (is a lot delayed by now due to all that happened), then resting so I can fully comeback.

I had a lot of stuff in order to prepare for my surgery, and after it I had a ton of things to do too. I finally caught up all my works and stuff, and Patreon, but August decided to be a hardcore month like the final extra boss, unfortunately my mom broke her collar bone, and I'm like dealing with three things at the same time. Her healing have improved and things are finally calming down and seems like I can breath or something like that xD
They say in my country that "August is the month disgust" yeah, this one proved to be the hardcore month. What do they say in your country? ANy month known to be a battle boss there?
Good news is that I took my second dose of the vaccine <3 This artist is fully vaccinated now! >3
It's been a long time since I opened full for commissions, I'm happy to say that Commissions will reopen on September! Something around 7th-10th.
For now I'm doing a few YCH pieces to help recover some of the money I spent with my mother treatment, appointments, medicines, exams, etc, as she got caught in a bad financial time when she had the accident. Please consider getting one of my YCH pieces or one adopt, if you can't help by getting one, spread/tell about my current YCHs or adopts. It would help me so much <3
