Future Commissions
Posted 3 years agoWatchers, followers, etc… I have something I need to tell you…
I know you enjoy seeing the commissions of my OCs, but they are very expensive and my finances have been very tight lately. I likely won’t be able to commission anything for awhile.
You also may or may not know already but I recently managed to create my fursona Luci using #StableDiffusion with a model that is tailored to furry art: https://twitter.com/lucierdasolari/.....RZvUMtPD2S8HKg
However, should I make more in the future, I won’t be able to post it everywhere I have an online presence. Fur Affinity has banned AI-generated artwork and for me to upload such stuff would have me running afoul of FA’s mods.
I also have artist friends, whom I’ve commissioned before, and who seem to be anti-AI. For me to post AI-generated art of my OCs may jeopardize my friendships with them. I love my friends very much; losing them would be devastating.
I could return to SL photography, but the commissions I’ve bought have been way more popular.
I don’t know what to do. But I cannot keep buying commissions with the finances I have now. If I were rich, this would be different. But I’m not rich. And neither is 99% of us.

Looks like nikolavexstacy, the artist who "drew" my last commission, scammed me. They went to another artist pretending to be me, commissioned them, and charged me 1,600% of what they paid the real artist. The payment was "friends and family" so a chargeback to get my $240 back may not be possible.
Just about every artist I've commissioned doesn't like it when I use the "paying for a product or service" option on PayPal. They don't appear to like paying the fee.

About Shinies
Posted 6 years agoI’m kinda on the fence in regards to the newly-implemented shinies system on FA. I like the idea of receiving tips powered by PayPal but there seems to be some risks that come with the system, so for now I won’t be enabling them. I’m also not sure if Second Life based photography is a valid form of art to receive tips for. I like to think that it is but in the end it all comes down to what the admins of FA say.
Also, a question... If I enabled Shinies and were allowed to receive them, would you tip me? How much?

Posted 9 years agoAnd hello, Imgur! You guys probably don't know it, but I just finished uploading my photosets to Imgur albums! I think this is most utterly convenient because you do not have to download anything anymore. You can visit the link and view the images at your most pleasant leisure.
I did this because I realized that some people are on their phones when they visit my content and they usually do not have the ability to unzip .zip files on their devices. I am so very sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused.
