How do y'all feel about Adopts? Or a big sale?
Posted 3 years agoI'm asking because since I came back to FA, the sales on my adopts have been pretty low! There's a lot of reasons this can be happening, I feel, but since art is my main source of income right now, I can't keep making them if they're not going to sell. I have a lot of old adopts that haven't sold over the years, but nothing like the drop I've had lately.
So my question is what would you guys like to see? Do you want me to keep making adopts? If so, what kind of adopts would you like me to make? Similarly, would you all be interested in a big flat sale of all of my unsold adopts? I'd love to get them to good homes! Most of my unsold adopts are stored in my scraps folder, so if you're interested to see what I'd be putting up for sale, you can check them out there.
Otherwise, I will continue to make YCHs and taking commissions and I appreciate all your support! I wouldn't even be able to attempt keeping doing art like this if it wasn't for all of you, so thank you so much for that~!

Posted 4 years agoSo I know I haven’t been active lately and for that I’m sorry. I’ve been dealing with some burnout as well as some personal concerns. My wife thankfully has a new job that’s working out well for her and we’re able to take a bit of a breath to stop and reassess things. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be gone but I do plan on coming back once we get our ducks in a row.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me for various reasons, it’s always a nice surprise to see that little note number in the upper corner. Hopefully I’ll be back and better than ever soon.

Posted 4 years agoI am doodling some caterpillar gals, and I'm curious to know! Would you all prefer fully humanoid lower bodies with humanoid legs and all that? Or would you prefer something more like a naga, where the lower body is that of the caterpillar's??? I think both look good, so I'm not sure which one to choose! Posted 4 years agoAlright folks! While the new years as a whole here in the USA isn't....amazing right now,
I am at least getting back into the swing of things! After taking the time to let my RSI heal up some
I'm slowing starting to begin working again. And I do mean SLOWLY. I've got a few pieces I need
to finish up from last month, and those of your who got the custom charms, they're all done!
We're just waiting for the rest of that order to finish up then the whole pack is getting sent to us.
I'll be reaching out to you when I get the charms in hand for what address to send them too.
Also, for the new year, my wife has started streaming over on Twitch! She's been futzing around in

Posted 4 years agoUnfortunately I have some not so great news on the art front.
Yours truly has a spectacularly awful RSI, or repetitive strain injury, of which the only real method
to help with it is to not use my arm. Like, at all. It's already killing me gently. Between the stress
bucket that this year has been plus trying to do more work than I'm traditionally used to doing in a certain
amount of time my arm is throwing in the white flag. So those of you who are waiting for specific pieces,
I'm so sorry. I will attempt to get them as soon as I possibly can, but at the moment I can't draw.
It even hurts trying to hold more than a pound or two of weight on my dominant arm.
So for now, I'm closed for everything. No more dick or pussy adopts, no commission slots opening up for the
end of the year, no new adopts (though I may cycle in some older adopts that weren't bought). I'm hoping
that giving my arm a good couple weeks of rest will mean I will be able to pick things back up in the new year.
Wish me luck, my wife is going to be forcing me to start doing more muscle strengthening work OTL

I've been posting up my art in other places lately, and it seems quite a few followers of mine don't have FA or don't have an interest in making an account just to bid on my adopts here. I think running auctions on Twitter is weird for the same reason, but I've seen that YCH.Commishes doesn't require a login to bid on things, which I think would be a very handy thing for all my viewers, but since FA is my main squeeze and I love y'all, I want to hear from you first! How would you feel about me using that to host my adopt auctions? Have any of you had any experience, positive or negative, with this website?

including a mailing list so anyone can sign up and be informed when I'm going to be opening commissions.
I've had a lot of people reach out asking to be put on a waiting list, and while I've used them in the past,
I find they don't work that well with how I handle my work flow.

In the mean time I'm working on a large commission currently so my next commission slots probably won't

Posted 5 years agoFirstly, I wanted to say I'm sorry for anyone who's been waiting for anything from me. With the world on fire,
stress and all that comes with it has hit me and my family hard, leaving us to try and manage the best we can.
I will be contacting everyone to touch base for those awaiting pieces from me and can only ask for everyone's
patience. I am still working through the purchased pieces, just at a much slower pace than my typical speed.

Posted 5 years agoUPDATE: New laptop has been acquired! Now I just gotta pull my files off my backup service then I'm back in action!
So, one of the worst things that could happen did. My computer has died,
or at least has demanded a temporary retirement until it can get fixed. I'm hoping
to have a workable laptop tomorrow and pick up my work but if you are waiting for any
pieces from me (adopts or otherwise) please be patient!
I'll keep people updated as the situation continues. This is my livelihood and how
I'm helping the house while my wife's work is closed due to the pandemic.

So my darling has overextended herself a bit and caught a nasty cold that has made her a feverish puddle.
She's currently on the mend thankfully but those waiting for work from her, please give us a little time.
I don't want her jumping back into a work craze when she's not 100% better.
We haven't forgotten you all, promise, and hopefully she'll be shiny and new in a couple more days.

Posted 5 years agoNew year update~! I hope everyone has had an excellent beginning to this new year, I certainly have <3.
So a few things are going to be getting some fresh paint around here and I wanted everyone to know, and be kept up to date~
Firstly a reminder. If you have purchased an adopt, custom adopt, or commission from me and have yet to save the files,
please do so! I will be doing a large clear of hosted images within the next month, and I'd hate for anyone to lose their purchases.
Second, updates to my Terms of Service(TOS). Most things will remain the same! However, to prevent some confusion
and possible hurt feelings on both sides of the equation, there will be additional clarifications listed. I will be linking to my TOS
in all invoices now as well as a link on my front page for those that are interested in my work!
Third is some price updates! Some of my most popular adopts, the dick and pussy adopts, will be getting a small price bump!
Nothing extreme, just standardizing my prices across the board. I feel that the quality of them has increased dramatically
since I started doing them, but unfortunately, so has the time it takes me to complete them. As of right now, I’m paying myself
less than minimum wage for them and with them being so popular, I need to update the prices so that it’s still sustainable for
me, as I’d love to keep doing them! On the note of these, I will no longer be taking custom dicks or pussys. If you are interested
in something fully custom (as in a completely new design and not just a slight modification to the dick or pussies I have already)
to match a character you will need to contact me for a commissioned piece when I have commissions open~! Prices for the customs
will be similar to the current adopts, but they will be slightly more expensive here on out! Also in regards to Dick / Pusy adopts, I’ll
have a spiffy new website for them in the future that will hopefully be a little less confusing to returning and new customers!
Fourth and last is updated commission prices! They will all be listed on my fancy new website with the correct amounts! There have
been a few increases but I feel they all reflect my abilities that I have to offer.
Thank you everyone who continues to follow me, purchase my adopts, or just hangs around to look at pretty pictures! 8D
