Hey everyone I know there are quite a few of you still waiting for your adopts.
I promise I'm still working on them as fast as I can without burning myself out OTL.
So instead of having you float around in limbo I'm going to keep a current
work list up on my front journal for the time being. This will also give you
a better idea of when you can possibly expect to get your pieces.

So I'm super glad to tell you all that everything's going pretty good over here
with life in general,including the fact that my newest adopts are going so well!
On that note, to everyone who has bought an adopt, either dick or pussy,
PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE ON MY POOR SOUL. OTL
It seems a lot of people in fact liked my new adopts, so my work list
is a bit on the longer side at the moment.
I promise I am working on everyone's pieces but at the moment I have over
a dozen open adopts so it's a little slower going than I usually do.

Posted 6 years agoSo last time I posted a journal, I fully intended to return buuuuut I got slam dunked by illness and convention schedules and things just got out of hand. I'm a very disorganized person, and with two cons back to back, I just sort of...fumbled everything. The cons are done now, and I don't have another one until September, so I'm back for real this time! Sorry again for the disappearance and lack of communication. I'll try and be better in the future! Thank you for your patience! I'm Back!

Posted 6 years agoFirst things first, thank you to the last of my commissioners from last month for their patience while I handled some things on the back end here before I getting their pieces to them.
On that note I will be taking a small break from FA for about a week give or take.
Right now I'm planning to step away until the 15th because of some personal projects
that need some attention to finish getting off the ground. I might open a few commission
slots in the second half of the month but I'm not sure at this time,
I'll decide when I get back.

Posted 6 years agoSo some of you might already know this, but for those of you who don't, I actually graduated a while back with a degree in 3D modeling. I'm way out of practice, but I just purchased my first 3D printer and so I'm trying to get back into modeling in order to have things to print! That being said, I'm not comfortable enough to say I'll offer 3D prints in the future, but for now, I was wondering if any of you would be interested in 3D modeled bust adopts? I'd probably flat sale them rather than auction them, and they'd come with an OBJ file and a texture file. Eventually I'd like to offer STL files as well for 3D printing if ya like, or even 3D prints I'd send to you, but that'd be a ways away. I have one bust already finished, and given the time I spent on him, he'd be about 120-150$. What do you all think?

Last year was such an odd one full of so many terrible and wonderful things that if it weren’t for my wedding I’m honestly not sure if I would be able say whether or not it was truly one or the other, but onwards and upwards! Here’s to hoping that 2019 will be better for everyone, and I want to take a moment to thank all of you for making Furaffinity such a delight to be on. This website isn’t without its flaws, but ever since moving here from Tumblr, I’ve found the community to be a delight and that’s thanks to all of you. Everyone who favorites, comments, shares, purchases or just enjoys my art is dear to me, and I hope to make myself a bit more available socially in the new year! I’m a bit of a recluse, I know, but I’ll do my best to do better! I’ll link my relevant social medias below so we can connect across platforms!

I want to point out that last one in particular, since I’m hoping to do at least one stream a month this year. I really love chatting with those who pop into my streams and it’d be great to do more Ko-Fi streams since they’re super fun!
Now, moving onto the important stuff. If you read nothing else on this journal, please read this next section as I’ll be making some changes around here!
First things first, I hate to be a downer but I’ve been having trouble with some folks not abiding by my rules that I have listed in all of my auctions and adopts, namely those involving payment. Last year I had several people withdraw or hide their bids, ignore my attempts to contact them after they’ve won an auction, and those who did not pay their invoices in a timely manner or at all. Many of these folks have valid excuses and I’m a bit of a sap, and so I have been very lax in enforcing my rules, but it’s becoming more of a problem than I can handle, so this year I will be putting in place a strike system. This means that if you do not abide by the rules you will earn a strike. Three strikes earns you a six month ban from my auctions and adopts. After the six months have passed, the ban will be lifted, but if a rule is broken even once after that, then you will be banned from my adopts until further notice. I really don’t like being strict about this sort of thing, but it happened with such regularity last year that I feel I have no choice. Because of this, however, I will be extending the time limit for a payment to be made after an invoice has been sent from 48 hours to 72 hours. I feel three days is more than enough time, and I feel that the strike system is more than fair. If you have any suggestions on how to improve the system or business dealings, however, I am all ears!
Speaking of invoices, this is just a small addition to my TOS: if you contact me for a commission, please be ready to pay before contacting me. I invoiced several people for commissions last year who did not pay for several weeks, and I feel that’s unfair to me because it makes my bookkeeping tricky. Remember this is my main source of income and I need my customers to be reliable just as you all need me to be reliable as an artist!
Lastly, I want to touch on unsold adopts. Previously adopts that failed to get bids were placed up immediately as a flat sale adopt, but that will be changing this year. Instead, unsold adopts will go into a vault of sorts. I will periodically place a unsold adopts up for adoption throughout the year where I see necessary, so if you miss out on one on its original auction, there’s no guarantee if or when it will return. I’m doing this for a number of reasons, but mainly because I don’t like to spam you all with a growing reminder image of unwanted adopts. My hopes is that if these adopts disappear for a while, their reappearance later in the year will make them fresh and new again and give them an opportunity to get happy homes with a new audience.
Phew, I really don’t like asserting myself, haha, but I feel I have to! That being said, last year was wonderful and I’m making these changes in hopes that this year can be even better. I love all of you, and thank you so so so much for your support. It seriously means the world to me. I never thought I could have anything close to a job on the internet and you all make it possible. Because of you, I can stay home with my animals and it’s so much easier to cope with my depression when I can make my own schedule and do something I really want to do. I love doing art for you all, and I want to keep doing it as long as you’ll have me. Thank you again, and Happy New Years!

Posted 7 years agoSo I just wanted to give those awaiting pieces from me a heads up. My wedding is next week so I need to focus on that at the moment. That’s not to say that I’m abandoning any of the pieces paid for, I’m just asking that anyone waiting for something to be patient. Posted 7 years agoSo I recently posted a poll asking my watchers what they'd like to see more of, and the winner was NSFW YCHs. With this last one I found few people seemed interested in it. Two slots even had to be refilled when original bidders backed out or didn't even respond. So my question to you guys is what EXACTLY are you looking for YCHs? Do you want single character shots? Couples? More large groups? What can I change if there's something you don't like?
As it's looking I might try one or two more YCHs, but truthfully they don't do well for me.
Here is a poll with a few questions to hopefully further flesh out what I need to be aware of. If there's something you think of that might help me out please leave a comment and let me know.
