I have been writing a novel for quite some time now and am wondering if you would all be interested in reading it? Hello everyone! I am so pleased to announce that Sha is doing fantastic!! He is no longer needing his eyes to be wiped constantly and has grown a bit of a round belly which is wonderful. He is eating from the bottle still, but has begun to eat some kitteh kibble like everyone else and like he used to do. He is way more active and runs around to play every once in a while. He was always more of a laid back kitten and watched the playing more often than he participated. He sleeps right beside me against my heart or belly. In the mornings he wakes me up with these tiny squeaks and mews to let me know "mommy may I please have a bottle now?" I will get some pictures of him later on today to post here!

Woke up this morning to a much peppier kitten! After his steam shower to clear his lungs and some nasal drops, he was fed an ounce of kitten formula. He fought most of the time which made it messy but at the same time...HE HAD THE ENERGY TO PUT UP A STRUGGLE! He has a nice round belly full of noms and is a nice warm boy in his little recovery nest.

First off, I wanted to say thank you to EVERYONE for the overwhelming support with my sick kitten Sha. You have all helped so much emotionally and some, even financially. His vet trip will cost me at least 150 or more from what the vets say that I spoke with. I just don't have those funds right now. But thanks to some wonderful friends and artists that held livestream drawing fundraising, I do have a start towards his expenses! But ON TO THE UPDATE!

Sha is still hanging in and doing as good as can be expected. Today, I went to buy him some canned food and some baby food to help stimulate his appetite and maybe get some strength into his fragile body. He DID NOT eat on his own off the plate like he used to so I made a bit of a "formula" out of it. I mixed some of his favorite canned food with baby food and mushed it up until it was a paste, then added some hot water to help it take on a more liquid formula. I just got done feeding him .8 ounces of the stuff and he of course is not a happy kitten. I mean...no one likes to be force fed right?! Thankfully, I am a vet tech and know how important that kinda stuff is especially for a sick kitty. They need strength to fight the kitten flu. I also bought some saline nasal drops to help clean out those congested nostrils of his. Between the steam showers and the drops, he should be able to keep less mucus in his nose and chest to help combat the flu symptoms there. He is drinking water on his own right now which is good. But I will be keeping a close eye on his progress and how much he takes in. I am setting up a large kennel as his "kitty hospital room" that he will be staying in starting this evening. That way his siblings don't terrorize him (as kitten siblings most often do) and I can monitor his water intake and have easy access to him for round the clock feedings. I am writing down his food intake and how his bowel movements are like we did in the hospital so I can track his progress and monitor his improvements. I will post some more pictures tonight of his little hospital room, that way you can all see where our guy will be recuperating. He is such a ham for the camera, even while sick so he will most likely pop into the pictures as well!

I wish I could give each and every one of you who helped out with my little Sha and donated during the stream.  MyLoveless and  xxsilvershadowxx are such wonderful friends of mine and I cannot thank them both enough for helping me and my little fighter. He is asleep comfortably right now and I will be able to get some rest myself knowing that I can actually do something to help him.

That I wish I could draw fabulously to do a stream to raise kitten vet trip money. Seriously.

My black and white kitten Sha has a super bad cold. He hardly eats and has green discharge from his eyes and nose. The worst part about it is that I have absolutely no funds to take him to the vet. My money doesn't go through for another month and I honestly don't know if he will make it until then. The vet alone is going to cost me 150.00 in meds/exams/ and whatever else that I just don't have. I am lucky to find the money for my own medications each month. I have done my research and called around and I can't and WILL NOT take him to a shelter because they flat out said that they will just put him down. They don't have the time to deal with a "sickly animal". I am so stressed. Any advice? I don't know how to care for him other than what I am doing now. I am keeping him comfortable and warm. He still eats a little and by a little..I mean he is skin and bones. He drinks every now and then and his momma is still cleaning him. I wipe his eyes and nose with a warm cloth to keep the nasty stuff out of his face and I wrap him up in my blankets with me so he stays warm and happy. He is super sweet and I just know I have to find out a way to care for him. I WILL NOT LET THEM KILL HIM. I know he can be helped. Until I figure out how to get the money to take him there, I won't be on here much. I am far to stressed and upset to concentrate/ eat/ or sleep myself. I just...I can't let him slip away.

Yup! I certainly did!  monster-vye and I bought a house a couple doors down from where we are staying and will be renovating it and moving in! I am so excited with that. A lot of things will become easier within the next couple of months thanks to some much needed stability coming my way.

With that being said I need to apologize for the wait on the art pieces that are on my list. You are all so patient and I cannot thank you enough for that and for allowing me to draw your wonderful sonas. Between some major health issues and some art block issues I have just seriously been on a dry stretch when it comes to artwork. But like always, I am once again in the mood and frame of mind to draw and pump some more pieces out. I will work on these in stages as usual and get the basic ideas down on paper so to speak. This will be done in between my morphine shots and other horrible things that are going on. I am trying you guys. I promise.

We have added a wonderful new reptile to our growing home! A chinese water dragon named Mudmug. Now for those of you who ACTUALLY KNOW WHO THAT IS....I love you. And for those of you who don't, it is a reference to a very important character in WoW...and of course...i still love you.

Yep, it's that time again. The sad moment when I run out of things to read. =( I really want to try out the Game of Thrones series but don't know where to get it? Anyone know of a free book site? And can anyone recommend another series to try out? I am a huge history buff. Especially things like the Pillars of the Earth and World Without End series.

Yes. So as I have mentioned before a couple times, the only way for me to improve is to keep practicing the art itself! Many of you have been gracious enough to allow me to use your own characters and that is simply amazing! With all that being said, I have made a website that will hold my up to date commission que as well the buttons to the social media feeds that I've created for my commissioners that will alert them if I should need more info from them, an upcoming live stream and so on. Thank you thank you THANK YOU! I honestly cannot say it enough guys. I am so lucky to have so many wonderful people that will let me draw their characters. You are all going to have them drawn and should be expecting the pieces to come in stages. What does that mean? Well, this simply means that I will sketch them all, then do the lines, and then finally, color them! I am not a pro at this by ANY MEANS! But the best way to improve your art is by practice. So bare with me on this and hopefully I don't let any of you down!

Yes, so I haven't been able to keep food down for almost three days now. Luckily, last night that streak was broken and I have thus far been able to successfully keep my noms in the noms chest. I have been very, VERY weak and shaky. I couldn't do much in the way of moving around without getting winded and certain activities such as computer activity and so on were absolutely impossible for me. I hope that this is the beginning of my improvement and that things keep getting better. I woke up to quite a few comments, submissions and journals and was so excited to see all the wonderful arts you are all doing! How is everyone else today?
