General | Posted 9 years agoWow... this year went by quick! One moment I am 20, now I am 21. I'll be the age to finally join all the pilots and other coworkers at the bars after work. And finally be legal to crack one open after a hard days work! I am expecting tons of phone calls and text messages from phone and Facebook wishing me a happy birthday. I ain't expecting anyone to say happy bday on here anyway, but oh well. Hope you all are having a nice day! Cheers!!

Haven't done a meme like this in a while so why not?
1.What did you do in 2015 that you've never done before?
Finally got to go to Canada with my dad (Got to fly the plane back too XD)
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Oh yes
3.Did anyone close to you give birth?
I think one of my cousin's maybe?
4.Did anyone close to you die?
A distant family relative back in the UK
5.What countries did you visit?
Just Canada XD
6.What would you like to have in 2016 that you lacked in 2015?
To be able to go up more with my dad on flights and get some more time flying the Beaver XD
A rebuilt transmission for my truck ($550 for the rebuild augh!!)
Lots of new friends from FA (I love this community!! XD)
7.What dates from 2015 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I am really bad with dates but the times of when me and my mates when dorkin', when I went up to Canada for the first time, and when I got my '78 Ford XD
8.What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finally going up to Canada for the first time in my life XD and bringing my sona to life!! (Thank you soo much

9. What was your biggest failure?
A painful memory, but I bought a '78 F-350 and got scammed out of it. The previous owners had absolutely no idea on how to take care of a truck like that and it was in bad shape, basically they lied about it being in good shape. I had to get it towed to a junkyard because the engine was on the verge of dying and I was almost broke from buying it (Still was a nice truck though)
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Clean bill of health :3
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Mah '78 Ferd F-150 Ranger X3 (I love that thing XD) And all the art from SierraFox XD
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Basically the whole family, and with a little help from some family friends!!! Not to mention a few friends from back home!!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Hmmm... Mostly the people who sold me that F-350 because that was $2,500 down the drain >:( and my facilities manager sometimes at Kenmore, making us do all these random chores instead of servicing the planes
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent, groceries, insurance, fast food sometimes, AVGAS for my truck, 2 pickup trucks XD
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
When my cousin from Idaho came out and we had a hellava good time!!!
16. What song will always remind you of 2015?
Hmmmm... I would have to go with Turbo Lover by Judas Priest XD (Best song to play when out dorkin'!!!)
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? A bit happier now
b) thinner or fatter? I am exactly the same since, well.... I dunno XD But I ain't fat!!
c) richer or poorer? Making minimum wage... yeah I am poor XD

Flying XD I really love to go flying with my dad and I should've but things distracted me

First it was by myself because the pass leading to Ellensburg was closed and then my brothers came and picked me up and took me home, I spent a few days in Ellensburg and played in the snow and everything XD

Well I used to like our facilities manager until she turned into a pain in the arse (Making us wear life jackets in 2 inches of water, baaaah)

This really good book about the US 8th Air Force when they were in England during the war

Lots of really good songs by Judas Priest XD (Desert Plains, Heading out to the Highway)

My sona XD, my dream truck!!! and lots of new friends on FA!!!

Fury!!! One of the best WWII films I have ever seen!!!!

General | Posted 10 years agoTurns out this Christmas wasn't so rotten after all! Today, Snoqualmie Pass managed to open and it opened a window for my brothers to drive over and come get me and bring me back to Ellensburg! Now I am here in Ellensburg enjoying time with my brothers and mom who I haven't seen in forever! I guess miracles do happen on Christmas!! Hope everyone had a awesome Christmas and got what they asked for, I know I did!!! Cheers everyone!!

I can't get back home to Eastern Washington because all the mountain passes are closed and will most likely not open for the rest of the day but hey, you never know with the weather here in Washington. I guess I might be spending Christmas by myself for the first time in years. Guess me and Carrie ( my '78 Ford pickup) will be spending Christmas together. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a awesome new year!!

Howdy everyone, its been a while since a did a journal, anyway hope you are all doing fine and living life to the fullest!! Me? I have been fine, had a lot of things to do along with work. Work at Kenmore Air has been steady for me at least, surprisingly we are still busy and its now December, guess people still want to fly with us despite the shitty weather that Seattle provides, which is a plus for me, means more money in the paychecks XD. Weather wise here in Kenmore, rain, rain and more rain, plus some wind here and there and maybe one day with no rain and then back to rain. Typical Seattle weather. Also I got new tires for my beautiful Carrie, my 1978 Ford F-150 Ranger. (YES, her name is Carrie and NO not from the horror movie, from the Song by Europe XD) She rides sooo much smoother and feels much better than with the off road tires I had on her before! Well, that's all I can think of for now. I will try and get a good picture of my truck and post it when I have time. Surprised I still have some followers and I thank you all for watching me even if I have no artistic talent whatsoever. Thank you all and have a Merry Christmas all of you!!!

It was one of the worst dreams I have ever experienced. It was during WWII, I was a crew member from a B-17 bomber and I was drowning. Yeah... that's how the dream went. I remember being underwater and trying to take off my parachute harness and inflated my life vest but I kept sinking deeper and deeper, all the air emptying out of my lungs and filling with water. Eventually it faded to black and I basically drowned. It felt so realistic, I could feel the water filling my lungs and the water around me. I woke up in my bed sweaty and scared. Jesus Christ I don't want to have that dream again.

It was one of the worst dreams I have ever experienced. It was during WWII, I was a crew member from a B-17 bomber and I was drowning. Yeah... that's how the dream went. I remember being underwater and trying to take off my parachute harness and inflated my life vest but I kept sinking deeper and deeper, all the air emptying out of my lungs and filling with water. Eventually it faded to black and I basically drowned. It felt so realistic, I could feel the water filling my lungs and the water around me. I woke up in my bed sweaty and scared. Jesus Christ I don't want to have that dream again.

A wild and crazy night
General | Posted 10 years agoSooooo.... last night was one of the craziest nights I have ever experienced. For all you Washington State furs out there who know where these places are (And for those of you that are not), myself, my cousin and a friend got stuck over in Clinton, WA after misreading the ferry schedule and missed the last ferry back to Mukilteo, WA. Clinton is on a island, Whidbey Island to be exact and Mukilteo is on mainland Washington so you can see how this turns out. So here is how it went... Story time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some nights when my cousin comes from Idaho, we do this thing called Dorkin'. Basically our way of saying, going out and having a good time, while being sober of course. Activities included yelling at random people, doing random and crazy stuff, random yelling and screaming, blazing loud bass music or rock and roll while yelling at things or people, in all sense... making it look like we are just a bunch of crazy young adults. So it was around 11:30 at night and my cousin, a coworker from work and myself decided to take a ferry ride aboard the Mukilteo to Clinton route. So we drive down there and park the car in Mukilteo and luckily catch the ferry over to Clinton. We checked the little ferry schedule pamphlets and see that there is a 1:30AM ferry back to Mukilteo so we thought that we had plenty of time to doodle around Clinton for a bit before coming back over. After we get off, we decide to dork around Clinton around 12AM and just mess around doing random stuff. After it hits around 1AM, we decided to head back to the terminal and catch the boat back. The ferry terminal is literally right down the street from Clinton so it wasn't far. Once we got back to the terminal, we noticed that the terminal was closed and that the ticket booths were too as well, this worried me but we continued on. Once the boat docked and let all the cars off, they started untying the ferry for it to be moored. We tried to get on but the ferry people told us that the ferry was closed and that they weren't going back. They said we would have to wait until 4:40AM for the first boat to go back to Mukilteo.
It was like a nightmare. We pulled out the little schedule and looked at it and realized that the last ride was the one we got off an hour earlier and that the one that came back to Clinton was the last one from Mukilteo. We were stranded on Whidbey Island with no car, no hotel and only the clothes on our backs. Literally!!! There was no place to stay in Clinton! All that is in Clinton is a grocery store, a bar a few repair shops and a gas station. All of which were closed so it was useless. The nearest hotel was about 5-10 miles up the road deeper into the island so that was obviously out of the question. So we thought it out and decided to spend the night at the terminal and wait until the ferry opens up again. We tried to sleep on some wooden benches at the terminal for a bit and realized it wasn't working and the fact that it was getting cold. My cousin had a thin fleece sweater and my coworker had a sweatshirt on. I had my B-3 Bomber Jacket (You can see it on my page) on that I always wear when I go Dorkin' so I was fine but the other two weren't so we decided to find a place that was a bit warmer. So we find a small park literally about 100ft from the terminal and discovered a bathroom there. The bathroom was a little bit warmer inside so we went in. It wasn't the best place to stay but for the other guys, it was worth it. There was one of those little hand dryers inside and they turned it on a bunch of times to try and pump warm air inside the bathroom. We stayed in that bathroom for two hours until around 4AM. I wasn't inside the whole time, I found a lawn chair on a patio on the beach and caught some Zzzzz's. I was woken up by my cousin and he told me that it was almost time to start heading for the terminal because of the fact that cars were starting to line up at the waiting area.
So we get going to the terminal and get there in time to meet up with a bunch of people waiting to walk on too. We stood at the terminal for about 30 minutes and finally, at around 4:30AM... we started boarding. We boarded the ferry and ran to the galley. We were freakin' starving and thirsty so we grabbed a very early breakfast. We rode the ferry back to Mukilteo and ran to the car. We jumped in the car and headed straight back home to Kenmore. They dropped me off and I went straight to bed at around 5:30AM. I slept in until around noon and got up for work. Let me tell ya, that was one of the craziest nights I have ever had. Even though we had to spend the night like homeless people waiting for the ferry, it was damn worth it!!!! It is a night I will truly remember always. And let this be a lesson to you all who ready schedules, for buses or boats it doesn't matter, READ IT CAREFULLY!!!!!! Or you might end up like me and my two mates.

All that is in Clinton is a grocery store, a bar a few repair shops and a gas station. All of which were closed so it was useless. The nearest hotel was about 5-10 miles up the road deeper into the island so that was obviously out of the question. So we thought it out and decided to spend the night at the terminal and wait until the ferry opens up again. We tried to sleep on some wooden benches at the terminal for a bit and realized it wasn't working and the fact that it was getting cold. My cousin had a thin fleece sweater and my coworker had a sweatshirt on. I had my B-3 Bomber Jacket (You can see it on my page) on that I always wear when I go Dorkin' so I was fine but the other two weren't so we decided to find a place that was a bit warmer. So we find a small park literally about 100ft from the terminal and discovered a bathroom there. The bathroom was a little bit warmer inside so we went in. It wasn't the best place to stay but for the other guys, it was worth it. There was one of those little hand dryers inside and they turned it on a bunch of times to try and pump warm air inside the bathroom. We stayed in that bathroom for two hours until around 4AM. I wasn't inside the whole time, I found a lawn chair on a patio on the beach and caught some Zzzzz's. I was woken up by my cousin and he told me that it was almost time to start heading for the terminal because of the fact that cars were starting to line up at the waiting area.
So we get going to the terminal and get there in time to meet up with a bunch of people waiting to walk on too. We stood at the terminal for about 30 minutes and finally, at around 4:30AM... we started boarding. We boarded the ferry and ran to the galley. We were freakin' starving and thirsty so we grabbed a very early breakfast. We rode the ferry back to Mukilteo and ran to the car. We jumped in the car and headed straight back home to Kenmore. They dropped me off and I went straight to bed at around 5:30AM. I slept in until around noon and got up for work. Let me tell ya, that was one of the craziest nights I have ever had. Even though we had to spend the night like homeless people waiting for the ferry, it was damn worth it!!!! It is a night I will truly remember always. And let this be a lesson to you all who ready schedules, for buses or boats it doesn't matter, READ IT CAREFULLY!!!!!! Or you might end up like me and my two mates.

General | Posted 10 years agoHoly cow! It feels so long since I did a journal so here goes nothin'!
Well... I am alive, am I?... Work at Kenmore Air is starting to slow down because of the coming winter and hopefully I have a shot of working through the winter instead of being laid off like the past two years of working at Kenmore Air. I sadly though haven't been doing much flying which is a big downer for me because I love flying and our Beavers are by far the easiest planes to fly!
ALSO... I am back to the situation of having no good old Ford to drive around, I used to have a 1972 Ford F-100 pickup that I loved dearly but I sold it to my uncle because he wanted it badly (And the fact that he lives on a farm, it was a farm truck so it deserved to be back on a farm and not in the city) So am looking for a nice 70's Ford truck to get and make it my own once again.
What else is there to talk about? Merde.... I am still alone here in the big city of Seattle. I would think I would have found someone here in the big city but I guess not. Oh well, I learn to deal with it.
Anyway, I apologize for not posting anymore submissions for the time, I am still looking for the things to complete my B-17/B-24 crew member suit. I FINALLY FOUND A WWII LIFE VEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now it is just down to two things. The leather flight helmet and a parachute harness with or without the chute. Maybe if FA will allow it I can post pictures of where I work and the planes that I work on. Maybe, we shall see.
I hope all is well with my watchers and once again I do apologize for being boring and not posting anything in a while.

General | Posted 10 years agoIts weird. I have been on this earth for 20 years now and I thought I wouldn't live this long. With the job I work at I am surprised I haven't been chopped in half or decapitated by a propeller yet. I guess only fate will tell. Anyway, 2 decades on this earth is okay I guess. One minute your 5 or 10 years old the next, your almost old enough to drink. Oh well, good bye teen years (13-19 I think) and hello adulthood.
