College
Posted 14 years agoI found the one I'm determined to get into. <3

If I can get accepted, then all I have to worry about is finding a place to live and getting a job. My parentals won't pay for a dorm room. :tear: So I'll have to do that myself. College they will pay for, I'll just have to buy books too. BAH. Hopefully I can find someone to live with or something up there. Houston is a different neighborhood compared to the nice tiny one I live at. :U I'm hoping my friend Zach can come live in an apartment with me, but, you never know, he may not be able to. So I'll start early and by asking different people I know. If not, I guess I better start saving up for a dorm room. I just have to figure out the cost of the dorms each semester.
I forgot the cost of food too... Food would be important to consider. lol But I think ramen noodles will cover the food part. I heard it's a great college food, and cheap too. C: And Lunchables, those are nice too. Ah, nothing like stressing out about college, lol, and my dad doesn't help by trying to put me off from leaving home and going to Houston, whether he's doing it intentionally or not, I dunno. I do know he's just worried though. But he should feel better knowing we have family not too far from Houston should I run into any trouble. My best friend's aunt lives there too.
And besides worrying about all those other things, I need to get my ass into gear and make sure my skills will even be good enough for the Art Institute. C: All I'm armed with is GIMP for right now, but amazing things good enough for a portfolio can be done with freeware like GIMP, yah? So I'll try to be posting more... graphic artist/design thingies, or maybe not, I dunno. Depends if y'all want to see or not.
Buh bai.
