Ok, so here's Tokito's update:
He went in for his appointment to see his improvement and he hasn't gained nor lost weight despite his eating. The vets decided to do blood work to test for things and see his organ functions. So it turns out Tokito is FIV+.
This most likely explains his lack of weight gain and other issues he's had. They're also not sure if he's as young as they originally thought, so his age is also a mystery. With all the test done, today's vet bill was about $400, something we really didn't have, so our savings for his neutering (and much of our finances) are depleted.


He has also been scheduled for his neutering on Nov. 5th, an almost $300 procedure, but with it being a month away, we're hoping to be able to comfortably save up for it. Him getting neutered is an important thing that needs to get done so we can have this last big bill done and out of the way.

Commissions Temp Closed: Re-Opens Oct. 12th
So my spouse and I have a break week from work coming up on Oct. 3rd-11th and I don't plan on working on ANY owed art during that week. So I'm wanting to concentrate on clearing out my commission list so nothing is sitting for that time.

So as of right now, I will not be taking any new commissions until Oct. 12th when I re-open them~

(That, and I really need a mental health break. I have been deteriorating as of late and getting overstimmed much easier than I normally do.)

The vet visit went better than I could have hoped. Though Tokito is at 6-ish pounds at the age of 1 or 2 (what they were guessing) when he should roughly be at about 8-12, he's going to do just fine. We'll be giving him the recommended dose of food and he's received medication for his ear mites, cat lice, and any intestinal parasites he may have. He'll have a follow-up on Oct. 3rd and after that, we'll be able to discuss neutering and getting him tested for any other issues that could be hiding. Overall, the vet sounded very optimistic about his health improving and he was a little motor boat the entire time he was in the office, winning over everyone.

The donations and money received through adopts completely covered his vet bill with enough to get a few extra things for his stay with us. He'll need to be quarantined from our other cats for up to a month while his parasites and other issues clear.

I'll still be saving up finances from other adopts I post for his follow-up and neutering, and my Ko-Fi is still open for any donations anyone wants to make for his upcoming expenses. Other than that, I'm very happy to announce that this little fighter will, indeed, be well on his way to recovery.

I am putting my commissions on a 3-day hold so I can take some time to relax a little from life's stress as of late~

The little stray, whom we've named 'Tokito' is doing well and today he finally gets to see the vet. His whole ordeal has been a bit stressful and to add onto it, I had one of my notorious aura migraine attacks last night, so I'm still a bit out of sorts.

So I wanna take some time for myself so I can concentrate on helping Tokito and rest from my attack. I'll be back at it again Saturday!

So a stray cat showed up on our front porch and he's basically starved to death and covered in cat lice and has scabs on him. He's most likely about a year or two old and he's a step above an actual skeleton. So for the past couple of days, we've been giving him much needed food and he's been gobbling it up and has been just a love bug. Today, we were finally able to call the vet and he has an appointment on Wednesday. So, as you guys know, I'm not in good financial standings, but I'm not going to sit back and watch this little fighter die. So all adopts I post will have the funds go straight to his upcoming vet visit. Though I have no info, I was alerted via Tumblr that someone was reposting my Patreon content for the public. Though I'm not sure who or if anyone actually is, I figured I'd at least post this:

Please never, ever, ever, ever repost Patreon content. It's so incredibly unfair to me as an artist, to those who actually to pay to support, and this can actively take away from some of my only finances. Anyone caught reposting my Patreon content will be blacklisted from my Patreon.

Please do not share my Patreon content for non-patreon users, this includes collabs, sharing with friends, or just reposting for the public. Also, if you see this happening, please report the person. Also I trust that non-Patreon supporters wouldn't take these reposted resources to get around paying for them. Sadly, not much I can do at that point, but remember that getting around paying for Patreon content in order to get free resources/content is still theft and it hurts and artist's income. I'd like to think my fanbase is more honest than that. ;v;

I have had too many suspicious, blank accounts trying to commission me lately and I just don't feel comfortable with it. If you are truly interested in commissioning me, you must make sure your account at least has a pfp and preferably something on it so it doesn't look like a scammer/bot account. Starting immediately, I will start declining commission requests from blank accounts across all socials. Thanks for understanding.

Hello everyone~! River and I are back from our camping trip and starting tomorrow, I can begin work again on commissions and YCHs. Atm, my Commission Slots are filled and with that, I am taking this time to CLOSE THEM. Art Fight is right around the corner and with our finances look good again (BIG thanks to everyone who helped!), I can finally close them so I can finish my list and get ready for AF~!

Now, with this time that my commissions are closed, I am doing some commission offers and price updating. I will be removing some things I offer and adding new things. I am also updating my prices to better fit my art quality, time, and to help support myself as a freelance artist.

Finally back from camping! Had a ton of fun, but it's nice to be back home to my ungrateful cats~ <3
