Hello guys! TIme for another update!
General | Posted 13 years agoSo how has everyone been doing? What's new? I haven't been on much in the past few months so just thought I would say hey and that I haven't forgotten any of you! It may be like this for the next few months as well. I apologize in advance for that, but I kinda can't help it because of school and work. Which brings to a few updates in life. I usually don't share personal stuff but this is my journal, my page, and I sometimes feel that journaling and venting are quite helpful in a weird therapeutic way. It also gives me feedback and I like to learn from others.
Updates: I passed all of my classes last semester with 2 A's and 2 B's which landed me on the Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester at Morehead State University (sounds like a dirty name for a university, but it's real)! Sorry, not trying to brag, but my education is important to me so I am happy that I had achieved something that I honestly worked for. Happy Snoopy dance for good grades!!!
On December 19th, me and :lord-unnvaldr: celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary!!! Yay for three years! He is honestly the best guy in the world! He has treated me better than any guy ever has. He means everything in the world to me and is my best friend! I seriously don't know what I would do without the goofball! Yeah yeah that probably sounds cliche and retarded but those words will have to do for now.
December 15th through January 13th was my winter break. I mainly just worked and spent the rest of it hanging out with friends and family, which made everything so much better!!!!!! I also got to see my family on Christmas Day, which made me so happy because I haven't spent a Christmas with them in 3 years! We watched movies, ate food, goofed around, and hung out! It was so much fun! :) Christmas haul: Fate (rpg for pc), scarf, peace bookmark, penguin peace sign purple footie pajamas, dark grey Beatles Abbey Road shirt, Bath and Bodyworks lotion and spray, big ass heavy iron skillet (that fucker is huge, it could kill a man!), a beginner crafter's loom, and a cute cat purse! My dad also found me a little black and white cat plushie from GoodWill! I love it! I was just a bit sad when I went home because I wanted to stay a bit longer. The rest of my break, I played Fate ( I swear I am addicted to that game, lol), lounged around, and downloaded a fractal program so that I can learn how to make fractals, and slept( or as I like to do wrap myself in a blanket burrito and hibernate, lol).
As far as work goes, still at Taco Hell, but looking for another job. I loved the one in Hazard that worked at, but the one that I work at in Morehead sucks ass! I seriously wish that it would burn down I hate it so bad. But oh well, at least it's money in my pocket and more work experience. I am trying to see if a few buddies can help me snag a full time staff position at the college library. That would be awesome if I could get a job there!
Classes for Spring 2013 are: Sports Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Psychology of Motivation, and Communications 108 (speech). All the psychology courses are senior level, so they keep me quite busy!
Also got put in the hospital on January 17th due to a severe migraine that lasted for about a day and half. I had been feeling headachy for about 3 days and then on the 17th I woke up at about 5am with a smashing migraine. I tried to sit through both of my morning classes, but found it nearly impossible due to having to leave class to vomit. When I got home I took ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer ( for my neck, these sometimes help when I have severe tension migraines), laid down, and even applied heated compresses. These things are usually supposed to help but they didn't. So as the vomiting persisted and the pain got worse all that day and throughout the evening, I finally grew frustrated and called my sister-in-law to take me to the hospital because my husband was at work. When they finally got me registered and in a room, they dimmed the lights and made sure that it was quiet. They then sent in a doctor and nurse. I was really nervous, because I usually don't go to the hospital unless it is something really severe. I was also nervous because they wanted to take blood and put me on an IV. I have never had either of these procedures done, so it made me extremely nervous. The nurse was really nice and sat and talked to me about all sorts of cool stuff while she did poking and all that good stuff. My sister in law, Jess was there and sat and held my hand and talked with the nurse and I. I couldn't believe how kind that was, I was sure to tell her thank you because it meant so much to me. When the nurse stuck the needle in to take blood and then switched it out to put in an IV, it really didn't hurt. Felt a bit odd, but it didn't hurt. They put me on IV because they knew I had lost a lot of fluid and was dehydrated. They also gave me something for brain swelling because they said that it would help ease the pressure and help the pain to subside, along with something for nausea, and liquid benedryl. After that they kept me in until about 10pm for observation. Then let me go home but advised me not to go to class or work for the next day. So the next day I got to sleep in and chill out. So that means from here on out, I am going to have to be more careful with stress, sleep, and school because of how frequently and severe my migraines have gotten in past few years. Seriously, I wouldn't wish a migraine on my worst enemy, they suck!
Aside from all that everything is going good so far!!!! Sorry that this was so long. Hope everyone is having a great day!

General | Posted 13 years agoNo, I'm not dead, so if it has taken me a few days to get back to everybody, I appologize. I have just been really busy with college and work....
So now for a little update: Things are going really good for me and Waylon(husband/mate). We both got job transfers and moved back to Morehead in June and also got a new place!!! I love it because it's really nice and has lots of closet space. It is a 2-story with 2 bedrooms/1 bath with a kitchen, living room, and laundry room!! It's also in a good neighborhood! I am so happy about this!!!!!! I may post pictures in scraps sometime to show how the decorating is coming along.
I also am back in college at Morehead State University to finish my bachelor degrees in Psychology and Art. I only have a few more psychology classes and then I should be done!!!! I can't wait to don that cap and gown!!! So far my classes are: Appalachian Studies, Fine Arts, Psychological Disorders of Childhood, and Health Psychology. I like all of my classes so far, but hate writing the papers for them, seems the Psych department loves to give out homework lol. Waylon is also back in college at Maysville Community and Technical College. He is majoring in Automotive Technology and loves it so far!!!!
Other than that, we are both doing great!!!!!! My fall break started today, so I am going to visit my family tommorow!!!!! I am really excited because I haven't seen them in a few months!!! I also get to see my pets!!!! May take pics of my pets and post those as well!! Well I gotta go get stuff ready for tommorow! Hope everyone has a good weekend! :)

Lexington Trip!!!
General | Posted 13 years agoSo the other day, me, my husband, and our good buddy :torakazu: went to Lexington for a fun day!!! We all hadn't been out for a fun day in a while so we loaded up the car and had ourselves a day on the town! We went mall ratting at the Lexington mall and ate in the food court for lunch, which was super yummy! We went to Spencer's and Hot Topic, where I seen some really funny shirts that I wanted to buy for my husband and brothers. I didn't buy them cause I was broke but oh well... Then we went to a Game Stop in the mall and looked at games and stuff... And then we went to to a few more shops and then FYE where Torakazu picked up a Thunder Cats poster. After running around the mall all day, we went to Jo Ann Fabric so that Tora could pick up his costume making supplies for his Lord Death costume for AnimeNext. I loved all the stuff there, I was making grabby paws all through out the store because of all the art and jewelry making supplies!!!! Eeeeek so much artsy stuff!!! On the way out, we found out the cashier that rang us up was big Soul Eater fan like the guys are, so they got into a big conversation about it which was pretty cool and random! After that, we were walking around and I spotted what I thought was an Art/Coffee shop so I was like hey guys we should check it out! So, we went in and found out that they do vinyl prints so Torakazu was able to get the prints that :fossil: made for him!!!!! Also found out that they have good deals on doing multiple printing services which is a plus if Torakazu or Waylon decide to make an artist table at AnimeNext in the future. That shop was definitely a lucky find!! Afterwards we went to Joseph-Beth Booksellers!!! Oh man I LOVE that place, nothing but books in a huge two story outlet!!! Seriously, they have everything! So I hung out in the Horror/Suspense/Mystery area while the guys looked at Art books and science fiction. Also had an interesting book discussion with Torakazu about the old classics like Frankenstein, Dracula, and Dorian Grey.... Afterwards we went to Willis Music, and Waylon bought some equipment for his drumset.... We then went to Best Buy and Toys R Us which was definitely a blast!!!!! By this time, it was dark outside so we decided to find some dinner, I was going to challenge the guys to a burger slammer contest but we couldn't find a White Castle. But we did find a Burger King and they guys know that I am a Burger King fiend so we ate there and it was yummy!!!! Afterwards we decided to call it a day a head back to Hazard which is about a 2 hour drive, but we kind of ended up getting a little lost on New Circle but eventually we figured it out and went home. It was a blast!!!! I loved every minute of it!!!!! :)
Taco Bell Hijinx!!!!
General | Posted 13 years agoHahaha, man I f'in love my job!!! So the other night everybody gets kinda bored at work, so on drive thru one of my managers puts me up to doing Super Trooper skits/jokes with the customers!!! If you have seen Super Troopers then you will know exactly what I am talking about... As soon as someone gets up to the box, we had one guy answer while doing a Cleveland voice impersonation(Cleveland from family guy), then we got another dude on there in the middle of the order, to throw the customers off... Throughout the order Brandon would insert the word meow into the sentence... Whenever the people would get to my window to pay, I would also say meow throughout the conversation. And then whenever people got to the next window we would give them them stuff and say "Have a good day, meow!!!" Out of about 20 customers only 1 dude got the joke, but he was a good sport about it! The rest of the customers laughed and commented that's one of the reasons they come to our Taco Bell is because of how funny the crew members are!!! Apparently the customers love it! Haha, then we proceeded to give everyone in the store a headset so that everyone could get in on the action!!!! Sounds retarded I know, but every other restaurant I have worked has had uptight douchey managers that can't take a joke or let anyone have fun.... Besides, we get our stuff done on time, so we need to do something fun to pass the time.. If anyone else has some funny work stories or pranks, please feel free to share!!! :)
A friend in need...
General | Posted 13 years agoSo, I was reading through you guys' daily journals and came across a journal by my friend :icon: Yanarra: (not sure if this will show her icon, but if not, just look through my friends on here)... Yannara is going through some problems concerning a debt that she has to pay immediately and may be doing some commissions or something like that... Read last journal she wrote for details of this situation and perhaps maybe someone would like to commission her? She is super nice and very friendly, and also a great artist!!! I hope this journal can help her out!!! So get your fuzzy butts over to Yanarra's page!!! :)
A bit of a long absense from the interwebs...
General | Posted 14 years agoYay!!! I finally got online after 3 and half weeks!!! I apologize if I have seemed unresponsive to everyone on FA.... I just got over a really bad sickness( a really weird mix of pneumonia with flu like symptoms and sinusitus), and to top it off, I pulled the muscles in my back, chest, sides, and diaphram..... And still had to work in drive thru at work, which made it worse... But went to the free clinic about about a week and half ago and got my antibiotics, 800mg of ibuprofen for pain and swelling, cough medicine, and muscle relaxers for all the pulled muscles and I didn't have to pay anything!!! Thank goodness for free clinics!!! Sick kitty is now feeling better and not paying an arm and a leg for medical bills!!!! So if any of you furs may be sick, try to check out a local free clinic to see if they can help you get medical care/medications for free or little cost. I hope that this little tip can help someone! By the way, I missed you guys, so I got a lot of catching up to do!!! :)

My husband needs better friends rant....
General | Posted 14 years agoSo sorry but this is going to be a big rant... I am so uber fucking pissed right now. Me and my husband moved out of our old house about 5 months ago because of his stupid jerk friends/ room mates. They have had 5 months to shut off the gas and electric and put them into their own names. 5 EFFING MONTHS!!! The electric bill on the old house went unpaid for two months because the didn't want to pay it. They finally switched it into their own names and let the deposit cover what they didn't pay... but the bad thing is, it was in my husband's name and that did not exactly look good on him. It was a big hassle to get that switched into their names. We finally manage to fix that situation... Well for the last few weeks I had a niggling suspicion about the gas bill... So I call the gas company and find out that the gas has NOT been paid in 4 months and that we now have an $88 dollar gas bill to pay because those lazy fucking jackass moochers could not go and pay their own bills. This bill is also in my husband's name so this now makes 2 utility bills that have not been paid due to his stupid asshole friends...grrrr.... This makes me mad because I have never once in my life had a late bill and I have been helping to pay bills since I was like 13 or 14. My mother use to take me with her to pay bills and always taught me how to be responsible with bill paying. What makes me the maddest is that those "friends" have jobs, money, and rich parents, and the fact that they have everything handed to them... They had the money to switch utilities but instead were irresponsible and blew all their money on video games and hot topic bullshit. My husband kept wanting to help them, but I always said no because they don't need help. I hate this because it causes me and the hubby to fight quite often and he always chooses to help them, even though he knows that it is wrong to help them because they have not been good friends to him or to me for that matter. To make matters worse, he asked them about the gas bill a month ago and they said that they had paid it. That's a load of horse shit, it hasn't been paid in 4 months. They actually stooped so low as to lie and to cheat us out of money. And sorry but liars and cheaters do not make great friends. Seriously, I could never imagine lying to any of my friends about anything.. But anytime I point this out the husband never listens to me. But yet he always seems to listen to little jerk buddies about everything, even though they steal, do drugs, failed out of college, and bum off of everyone... He doesn't have many friends, but geez does he have be so desperate to have friends like this? These people aren't friends, they are failures who fail at life. So I think may get him to get an FA or at least meet a few old buddies of mine from back in the day... At least I know that my old buddies like Kim, Rebecca, Jason, David, Jordan, Max, and Zach would welcome him and treat him like a brother. They would never make fun of him, steal, or do anything to hurt him. Instead they would embrace and accept him.
Haha, karma is a bitch! I called in and shut the gas off! So I hope those lazy nasty bums like freezing their asses off! If they can't be responsible enough to pay for their own gas, then they don't deserve the luxury of having it at someone elses' expense!
Sorry about this rant, but I just needed to vent and blow off some steam.... SO again I do apologize to you guys.
By the way :torakazu: this was not directed towards you. You have been Waylon's best friend IRL for over ten years and you have been a wonderful friend to both of us, so thank you so much! :)

Roxanne had puppies!!!!!
General | Posted 14 years agoSo my dog Roxanne finally had her puppies about 3 weeks ago!!!! There are 5 in all. I haven't got to see them yet because I had to take her to my parents place due to the fact that my landlord won't let us have large dogs... Which really bites the big one.... But I am super excited that I get to go see my poochies tomorrow!!!! OOOOhh but even more excited that I actually get to see my family!!! I live 3 hours away now so I very rarely get to see them.... I miss them terribly and will be super excited to see them!!!! :) So if I don't respond for about 3-4 days, please don't be offended, I will be visiting family and all that lovely good stuffs!!!!! :) :) :)
Does a super happy dance! :)

Happy Halloween!!!
General | Posted 14 years agoHope everyone has a safe, fun and happy Halloween! So, what is everyone going to be doing for Halloween? As for me I will be working, but afterwards, I will probably watch a few scary movies or something along those lines....
The last 2 weeks and a KISS concert!!!
General | Posted 14 years agoLOL, so these last few weeks have been going good!!! A few weeks ago, we kidnapped torakazu for a few days!!! Which resulted in some random hijinks as usual! We had dooodling time, a huge anime marathon, watched some really cool livestreams from FA artists, and all sorts of random stuffs! When we took him back home, me and Sammy noticed that there was a heritage festival thingy going on so we decided to stop on the way back, and it was definitely worth it, just wish Torakazu was there to see it too! We got some nibbles at Mickey D's and Sammy and her husband won free doof from the monopoly game pieces which was cool. Then we stopped at the heritage festival and seen a really fucking kick ass KISS cover band!!!! It was wicked awesome! I was super excited, surprised I didn't pee my pants with excitement, lol! They looked just like KISS, same stage costumes, makeup, hairstyles, the whole nine yards. They were actually good and not crappy!! I tried to take pictures with my cell phone, but they turned out too bright and hazy, just wish I had brought my Kodak digital camera, then I totally would have gotten some awesome closeups of the band!!!!! I also got to go shopping in the booths with Sammy! I didn't buy anything but She got a really cute christmas taboggin! Haha, and then we grabbed our husbands and decided to run and play on the playground at midnight, even though it was cold, wet, and the fact that I was wearing a dress didn't help, but what the hell, it was fun even though my butt got soaked from the slides!!!! OOOO and I got a raise at work, which I totally needed! So all in all it was great!!! It's the little things like this that make us feel young again and it was definitely fun to let my inner child run rampant for a bit!
October: Horror Movie Marathon Month
General | Posted 14 years agoSo yeah, October is approaching and I am thinking about having a horror movie marathon! Not sure what I will start with just yet.... But definitely thinking of watching the Stephen King collection, The Halloween(Michael Myers) series( both Versions by John Carpenter and Rob Zombie), Lady in White, Urban Legend, Sleepy Hollow, and about anything I can get my hands on!!! Might also try to find a few Halloween documentaries as well! Is anyone else going to be doing any horror movie marathons? Any scary movies you guys would like to suggest? Would love to hear your feedback!
The day after....
General | Posted 14 years agoalthough this is a day late....
Towers burning, fire in the sky our very eyes witness....
Screams like echos and roars fill our ears...
Smoke and burning decay assault our noses....
Loved ones have been taken away, never to see no more, to hear, or to feel...
Fear is born within our hearts....
Children have lost a mother, or a father...
Mothers and Fathers have lost a child...
Husbands and wives,
Brothers and sisters,
Grandparents,
Aunts and uncles.
Cousins,
Friends,
Loved ones,
We have learned that there is cruelness in this world
On this day ten years ago many people lost their lives to recklessness, anger, and hatred... And the fact that people cannot learn acceptance, tolerance, or to be open minded are part of the reason tragedies like this happen... This is a horrible way to debate a disagreement... Whatever happened to rational civilized conversations? This will be in the history books in years to come, but it will be in the hearts of the survivors, and their loved ones forever. So today let's remember these people and have some compassion :) Haha, yeah my poetry sucks but this was on my mind...
On a brighter note, September 11 is also grandparents day!!! So be sure to do something special for them :) Don't know about you guys, but my grandparents are bitchin' awesome :)

A death in the family
General | Posted 14 years agoSo I probably won't be on for a few days due to a death in my husband's family. His grandfather died last night, so I will be gone for a few days to go to the visitation, funeral, and to be with my husband. So please bear with me if I don't respond for a few days... At least his grandfather died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his wife and family. So if anything, We like to think that he died a happy man. R.I.P. and may he journey into the afterlife in peace.

I can be shy and quiet at times, but I like to make friends and offer support or lending an ear. So if anyone needs me let me know! :) Art and psychology are 2 of my favorite things, so I do both as a professional career.
