It has been in the air for some time now, and I've thought about it for a good while now, but I've finally decided to rebrand~

What it means that starting today, I'm gonna stop drawing Pokémorphs and will purely focus on making Loona pics.

For commissions, I will only be accepting commissions of Loona and nothing else. I have updated my commission info to reflect this change so please make sure to check it out: https://pokemorphs.com/commission/

I also feel like my name is outdated so from now I prefer to no longer be called Lunaris Parukia. Instead, I'm renaming myself to Loonaris Parookia and would prefer to be called that.

As for our Discord server, we will no longer allow art of anything else but Loona and will start banning everyone who posts artwork without any prior warning.

Hey guys!

I'll just cut to the chase, while the daily posts have been great for progress, it turned more into work than fun, and I'd rather draw to have fun and not because I HAVE to.
After the Loona animation I've been pretty much completely burned out on making anything.

So I think it would be better in the long run to stop doing daily posts before I start to hate drawing and stop drawing completely. Maybe later on I'll go back to posting semi-regularly, but maybe just 3 sketches and one colored pic a week or something, but we'll see when we get there. For now I just don't want to draw anything for a while.

It may also give me time to work on bigger projects like comics and animations, because with the current schedule I just don't have time to make those.

Also I want to take a break from my socials because I don't want to care anymore about the numbers. That's why I haven't been replying to comments lately. Sorry for not reading/replying.

As it stands now, the last sketch will be posted on the 21st.
I still have a backlog of at least 11 colored pics after that, so I'll just keep posting those on Mondays and Fridays.

I hope you can understand and I hope I can still count on your support!

Now as a birthday gift to myself I'm gonna take some time off from drawing.
I've been stuck in an artistic rut the past few weeks and I tried to force myself through it but it's not working out uwu;

I don't even know if I want to keep up with the daily posts because I have barely any time to do other things uwu;
I don't even have the time to do bigger projects like a comic or something.
But I dunno what a good alternative would be, so suggestions are welcome. Especially since I want the fun to come back into making art rather than it feeling like actual work and me wanting to get it over with >w<;

But hey, since it's Monday I'm gonna leave you with a colored piece before I stop with uploading for a while so you at least have that to look forward to x3

Hello, friendly furry friends~! ^w^/

Sorry for the loooong wait, but as you prolly may know by now since I've been posting for a few days again now, I finally have my PC and tablet again! I'm right back to making daily uploads again. Thank you so much for your patience! =D

If I'm not mistaken, I've been away for 4 weeks so what I'm gonna do is starting next week, you'll get an additional colored pics on Mondays (Wednesdays and Saturdays will stil stay, of course!) for the next 8 weeks at least to (hopefully!) make up for the long wait!

Commissions will likely open again next week or the week after that. Because I've been working hard to catch up on the pics I should've been making ever since Sunday of which there were 9 (just one more to go at the time of writing!) I could use a break for the remainder of the week =P


For the people who were concerned about me, thank you so much for caring!
Unfortunately my life isn't quite back on track and I don't even know if it'll ever return to normal again... Time will tell )=

And finally, sorry for the... impersonal wording of my previous Journal. I was in a rush to write up what I needed to say, plus I was still shaken up at that time, so... yeah. Sorry if it came off as rude uwu;

Last week I held a poll on which day you'd like to see me update, and as you can see here, most of you wanted it to be on Saturday.

For the time being I will be on an experimental upload schedule. I will lay out what it means below, but please keep in mind that things are subject to change:

1. One fully colored pic will be uploaded on every Saturday

2. One sketch will be uploaded on every other day

3. The actual post time may vary. Suggestions for times to upload are welcome

4. Any SFW upload will be paired with an NSFW upload

5. If my upload backlog gets too big, I will also temporarily upload on other days, starting with Wednesday because I feel that splits the days between uploads nicely, and because Thursday didn't get any votes

6. Commissions, raffle prizes and the like may get uploaded on other days as to not make the clients wait. This will not influence the schedule otherwise

7. Pics for special occasions such as holidays will also not follow this schedule but uploaded on the appropriate day I.E. a Christmas pic on Christmas day. This also will not influence the schedule otherwise

8. The exception to the last 2 points is when those days just so happen to be on schedules upload days. I will not make a double upload on any given day unless every single day of the week are already scheduled or in the case of point 4


Some things to keep in mind:

1. https://pokemorphs.com/ still gets the uploads more or less as soon as they're finished as it's my own website

2. As I use Postybirb to post to multiple sites at once, technical difficulties may occur. FurryNetwork in particular has an issue with logging in and thus may let me refuse to post there for days on end. I will do my best to upload as soon as any difficulties are resolved. If one site does not work, I will not wait with uploading to other sites.

3. If I have nothing to upload, then obviously there will be nothing

4. If I feel like this schedule doesn't work out for me personally, then changes to the schedule will be made, or even lifted


If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the comments.
I'm also open to suggestions on exactly what time I should upload on these days.

October 28th marked my 10th anniversary on FA, and I want to thank everyone who has supported me over the years.
I will keep making artwork for you for hopefully many more years to come.



I began making my artwork public here on FA, and it all started with this: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/4706097/
Back then I felt like it was a waste of effort that no-one could see my work, so that's how I decided to post my work online.
I remember I narrowed my choice of sites down to two, and while I don't remember what the other site was, I decided to go for for FA.
Was still too anxious to post adult content back then, so I didn't post that until later.
I also wanted to be a fetish artist at first, which is why the first few pics were experimental, but ultimately decided to just draw what I like and I'm comfortable with.

Without your support, I may not have lasted, so thank you very much!



And while I'm not a big time artist, I still want to end this Journal with what I learned.

Primarly make art because you enjoy it. Unless you want to do it for money or have certain goals, just draw whatever you want and ignore if people want to change your art. But also be careful you don't throw away good advice. Don't stagnate your own progress.

Don't throw your audience under the bus. They've made you to what you are. But don't let it get to your head either.
An artist is just nowhere without their audience, no matter how big or small. Always appreciate what you're given. The amount of exposure you get is not indicative to your worth as an artist, and especially not as a person. Never forget who you are.

Don't let the lack of exposure get in the way of your enjoyment. It's a long and slow process to get noticed. There are skilled artists out there who have a small following, and there are popular people out there who don't do any art themselves. In the end it doesn't even matter and it all just comes down to being confident in yourself. Even if you get no views, just keep trying and don't let it discourage you. Again, those counters are no indication of your worth, so don't put too much stock in them. Make art because you like doing it, not for attention.

Art is subjective. There is no good or bad art in itself. It all comes down to taste. Some people will like what you make, others will hate it. Don't let it sway you too much. That said, don't use assets or characters from other artists without their permission, don't make hate art, and unless it's for practice purposes or to educate yourself to see how anatomy works and isn't made public, don't trace. You may get some quick success at first, but it will never work in your favor in the long run, especially if you get more known. You will eventually get exposed and likely ridiculed online.

Finally, just be nice, appreciative and respectful to each other. Outside of things like commissions, no-one owes anyone any art, and no-one owes anyone any exposure. Making art generates support, and support encourages the artist to make more art, which generates more support, which generates more art, etc.. If both the artist and follower show appreciation for what they get from each other and respect each other, this cycle can go on indefinitely.
