Once again, I have attended the most recent Nordicfuzzcon and have taken some photos during my visit.
Unfortunately, some of my pictures were taken when I held the camera vertically and for some reason, Furaffinity does not have an option to rotate them during the upload process.

Have already sold my ticket and hotel spot and got my money back. It might go to Eurofurence later this year.

Nordicfuzzcon 2017: Post Con Report
Posted 8 years agoIt has gone about a week since Nordicfuzzcon 2017 and of all the cons from the previous years, this has been one of the best for me.
I arrived at the hotel on Tuesday since I had chosen super early arrival this year. The hotel itself was massive. It has 20 floors, a big open lobby with a indoor jungle and a fishpond filled with koi fish. It was a nice touch since the con had a japanese theme.
I stayed on the ninth floor for the entire duration of the con and almost every day I went to the hotel pool that was on the same floor. What luck!
The room was just right and the beds where not that bad.
Most of the time at the con I spent walking around the place, hanging out with my friends, meeting new people and drink some beer at the bar. Also hanged around the gaming room with all kind of video games. This year they had a actual Famicom. I had only seen pictures of it before and now I took the chance and try it out.
There where some events I went to. On saturday I went to the Maid Café that they had around the bar area. Ordered some coffee, donuts and wasabi nuts.
Later that day, some of us attendees went outside to try some fermented herring. The smell was bad, but the fish was good.
Before any one asks, yes, I did some fursuiting during the con. I brought with me my sabercat Raze and I fursuited atleast four times. Once on Wednesday, once on Friday and twice on Saturday. Took part of the fursuit parade which is a must for me and I also bought a new collar from the dealer´s den and wore it during Saturday.
Must not forget... I also went to some room parties. On Wednesday, my friends and I got drunk on Minttu and other strong liquors. On Thursday, I uhmm... don´t want to go to any specific detail, but atleast some people had "fun" that night.
Lastly on Saturday, I went to the party wing of the hotel that was on the same floor where my room was. The party at room 940 was arranged by people from the Sveafur forums and welcomed anyone that wanted a good time.
And that was my trip to this years Nordicfuzzcon. Now I`m going to sit down and plan for other convention travels.

My post con report for Nordicfuzzcon 2016
Posted 9 years agoThis years Nordicfuzzcon was enjoyable, even though there where some stuff I didn´t like and regret doing more of.
I stayed at the overflow hotel that was only a small walk from the main hotel. The place had it´s charm, but the bed in the room sucked and I had a hard time sleeping.
There was also a special screening for the new Disney film "Zootopia", but I didn´t go since the tickets had to be booked in advance and they sold out quickly.
I brought with me my new fursuit from
mixedcandy, Raze the sabertooth cat, but I only suited once during the entire con and wished I did more and also didn´t not take as many photos with my camera like the previous years.
But it was not all bad. I was happy to meet and hang out with my friends again and meet some new people for the first time. Enjoyed some good food and played alot of games, both arcade games and card games like "Cards against humanity". What a great game, laughed my ass of during the different rounds.
Then I went home on Sunday. When I came home to my apartment, I sat down at the computer to check out the new venue for next years NFC. The pictures of the hotel reminded me of the pics I have seen of the Estrel in Berlin where Eurofurence is being held. It might not be as big as the Estrel, but it sure looks awesome.
I will post my photos during the next couple of day and I will return to next years Nordicfuzzcon. Cheers!

My 2015 retrospective
Posted 10 years ago2015 was a decent year for me. Just like 2014 I spent most of my time in school, but I manage to have some fun once in awhile.
The fun stuff for me was going to Nordicfuzzcon and go to the cinema and see alot of the good films that came out during the year like the new Star Wars movie.
There also a big change for me. I turned 30 and recieved a brand spanking new computer from my family as a birthday present and I´m writing this journal entry on it right now. Another thing that I got during Halloween was a brand new fursuit from mixedcandy, this time a sabre cat. I´m going to bring it with me to the next Nordicfuzzcon.
Before Christmas I did a very awesome thing: I went to a Judas Priest consert. I stood so close to the scene that I could see the sweat on Rob Halford´s head.
Finally, I started to read books again with the Witcher books being my favorites.
Now on to 2016!

Nordicfuzzcon 2015: Post Con Report

This years con has been awesome with a nice new venue and hotel by the sea. Spent most of my time hanging out with
Wuffen, 
Maschinenwolf and 
Uroko. Other activites I did during the four days I was there were meeting my other friends and seeing some new faces, taking pictures with both my Canon camera and smartphone, consume alcohol, watching old cartoons and the fursuit charades, eating at the dinner buffet and lastly, fursuiting. On saturday night, as Chinnok, I wore a LED collar, that I bought from
kirrow.
That´s my story and I will return to NFC next year.

A small look back at 2014
Posted 11 years ago2014 has gone and we have entered 2015.
The last 12 months has mostly been school, but I also had the time to visit Nordicfuzzcon in february, attended a small furmeet in Skövde during august and moved to a new appartment just before Christmas.
This year I´m planning to try and go to Germany for Eurofurence.

Officialy 29 years old.
Posted 11 years agoYesterday I turned 29 and I got some nice presents in the form of cool looking t-shirts and Batman comics.
Wish I was down in Germany for Eurofurence this weekend with my buddies. We could easily celebrated me there.

What I did last weekend
Posted 11 years agoIt´s been awhile since I wrote anything in the journal. Last thing I wrote was back in march after coming home from Nordicfuzzcon.
Anyway, this is what I did last weekend:
I was at a small furmeet in the swedish town of Skövde, organized by
sweawolf, where we played minigolf (some of us in fursuit, obviosly), making hotdogs over an open fire down by a lake and some swimming at an artificial lake in the middle of town in a big park.
That´s sort of the short tale of what I´ve been up to and I don´t feel like writing all the small details of everything inbetween.
If anyone wants to know more, I´ll answer in the comment. That is, if anyone will read this.
Anyway, this is what I did last weekend:

Back from NFC 2014

nordicfuzzcon was a blast! Got a chance to meet my friends from last year and to meet some new faces during the weekend.
Got to do stuff like fursuiting, playing videogames, drinking some beer, donate to charity, watch some obscure cartoons, laugh a lot and just having a good time.
I also got the chance to test out my new Canon EOS 100D camera that I got for Christmas. Took a lot photos that I will upload during the week.
And finally: A big shoutout for the staff of NFC for making the con as great as possible.

Posted 12 years agoWhen I look back at 2013, there is two things that come in mind:
1. Going to my first furcon, namely nordicfuzzcon.
2. Starting community college.
I always wanted to go to a furcon, but coulden´t aford it. So when Nordicfuzzcon was announced I took my chance and traveled to Stockholm to attend.
When I got there, I gasped of excitement and happiness rushed through my body. I also got to fursuit a lot more than I had done in the past and made some new friends, some of which I hung out with during the summer for an outing on the swedish westcoast. I aslo did some silly stuff, but I won´t mention here.
During the autumn I started community college in an attempt to improve some old grades from my high school years. Not only did you study, you also had fieldtrips, visiting theaters, other schools, museums etc.
Those where mainly the biggest things that happend to me in 2013. Let´s see what 2014 has in store. I have already planed to get a new fursuit and travel to more furcons, maybe go to a rockconsert or two inbetween. Let´s hope it goe a smooth as possible.
