Cause i'm thinking about attempting the adopts again. I honestly haven't had the best track record with these but i really like designing characters so... I guess if they don't sell I'll jsut give them to friends if they want them or raffle them out, idk.

Anyway, I was thinking about doing adopts of Eurae's species, the Lepidra (so awesomely named by derpydeino) because I personally think they have a pretty cool design and insect dragons seem to be on the rare side. Maybe because people don't like them? maybe because they don't know how ot go about the design, idk.

But i'm gonna try it again. I'll probably make 3 at a time since i'm kinda pressed for time due to college. And they'll be really basic ref sheets. Like front, partial back, color palate.

Now, the thing I'm thinking about is their design. Like... I have it in my head that there are two type of Lepidra, the ones with horns and a dragon form (like Eurae) and the ones without a dragon form that have antennae instead.

Or, I could just throw the dragon thing out the window and just makes designs as i please and just say some have antennae and some have horns.

I kinda feel like i should just ignore the dragon thing because who's really gonna draw it? lol that thing is complicated as hell.

Okay, hear me out cause im jsut like... very confused about this.

I see so so so sososososososo many YCH auctions that have it stated in the rules that if you hid or delete your bid, you'll be blacklisted or otherwise unable to participate in that auciton (or future auctions).

I really don't understand why people have this stipulation.

Well.. that's not true.
I understand why they have it. They don't want people to bid and then say "oh well i don't have the money :((((( can i get an iou?" and i understand that they also don't want it to confuse other bidders.
I understand if it's the same person always bidding when they know that can't pay every single time. Now that, i can see as cause for blacklisting. As well as paying the AB price and then claiming that they don't have the money, that too is grounds for blacklisting.

But like... what if someone DID have the money to pay, but then something happened and they can't anymore? Like, say they have a family emergency or their car breaks down or some unexpected bill. I know i personally would prefer them to hide/delete their own bid rather than just riding it out and hoping they get the money before the auction ends?

I don't know, maybe im not explaining my point clearly, but you get what i mean?

I dunno, what do you guys think about it? Or if you cna explain to me like more reasons that blacklisting is a good thing to do cause right now it seems a little cruel to immediately do that if the person isn't doing it constantly or in a really disruptive way (like bidding AB and then cancelling).

I just never played darksouls because uh.... grey, green, brown, black, and more grey aren't really my favorite colors to look at tbh. I like flashy games, okay i said it.

hello hi yes i am here and i would like to tell you about my new character cause i haven't gotten a chance to draw his ref sheet (it's finals time baby and im dyin' :'D)

So, you've probably seen him before. the grey guy with AMAZING HIPS that tell no lies. I made him in SL like a week or two ago but he wasn't named till last night at... 4:18am

Anyways, so his name's Eurae(yur-ae), he's a dragon-moth(?) hybrid. The moth part mainly just comes in in regards to his wings, legs/feet, and Adult X-rated 18+ Dangly Bits. The rest is either dragon or generic furry stuff.

In his uh.. story or whatever he's a Prince/King. Officially he's King, but doesn't claim that title cause he doesn't want the responsibility of being king. His kingdom is the entire surrounding forest and the town/castle/palace/keep thing is a hollowed out huge ass tree and the immediate area surrounding it.

He's pretty apathetic or aloof most of the time, but not entirely unfriendly, he just doesn't care about alotta stuff. He's got a silver tongue (well it's black but) when it comes to getting whatever it is he wants and he's pretty mischievous and sly when he wants to be. He's fiercely loyal and protective of his people and can have a real nasty temper about it. He isn't the type to withhold severe punishment unless he thinks another option would be more interesting/fun for him.

Age wise he's 74, which is somewhere around 20-25 for a human, pretty young for a king but you know, shit happens. He leaves a lot of his Very Important Kingly Duties˜ to his adviser. His species is pretty long lived though, you hardly ever see one dying of old age unless they're sick.

That's all i can really think of right now feel free to ask about him n stuff. and maybe i'll think of more things.


also schools almost out!!!! for winter break. Im so ready, my bODY is ready.
what my body sin't ready for is going to the dentist. Like, okay, granted, i don't take care of my teeth, but they always have some fucking shit to say to me like i'm 5 fuckin years old. like "hur dhuer rh u gotta brush ur teeth or they'll rot!!!!!!!!!!!! ur such a pretty young lady u don't want ur teeth falling out!?!?!" like mother fucker im not fucking 5, fuck off. If everyone had perfect fuckin teeth all the time, guess what? you. would. not. have. a. job.

And then the nurses or whatever are always dumb as hell, i have a condition or whatever where my top and bottom front teeth don't meet cause my tongue pushed my bottom teeth like half an inch out farther than my top teeth. So i go back for the x-ray and i tell them that i cannot hold the stick thing in between my teeth because they don't meet and these idiots say 'okay' and then try to explain to me how to close my teeth like ??????? I just told you they don't??? are you stupid????

I just need them to do whatever they're supposed to do and move on, i really don't need this long drawn out interaction in my life right now.

On the bright side, im getting closer to feeling comfortable talking to my mom about beign transgender. I mean, she won't react badly or anything, probably jsut confused. Though, i still don't really know where to go from there. There's a lgbt center(?) in the next city over so maybe i cna talk to them. I 'technically' have a psychiatrist to talk to as well but he's a not worth shit. What kind of psychiatrist drags up obviously abusive, painful memories with no consolation at all, no discussing them, nothing, and then lets them walk out of the office in tears. All he wanted to talk about was spiderwick chronicles.

also on incompletely random note, i was reading a story last night and like... idk what happened. I think they got confuse between an rp and a story? there were two instances of a 'sound' occurring in the story. instead of describing the sound with words (ie: the thunder cracked loudly, echoing wildly around the sparse room) they just put *crack*
like literally, they emoted in the middle of a line of text. I just kinda sat there staring at it.

It had 'passed' the three line, three paragraph, and one chapter check. Everything was fine, and then this. i was shook okay
i don't know, maybe im picky but there are jsut some things that don't fly with me. I'm not saying the story is bad or the concepts are bad, but some stories are jsut not formatted well and it make sit kind of a chore to read. I don't want to feel like im forcing myself to read something, you know? And, you know, there are times when a story 'fails' a check but i still read it anyways. Like, I have a personal check called the first person check cause i don't like reading first person stories. but there were... 3 stories, all from the same author, that passed the other three checks with such amazing, flying, rainbow colors that i read it anyway and was not disappointed. So you know, i'll overlook some stuff but that emote thing jsut really turned me off which was saddening.

Also i beat BOTW, not counting the korok seeds cause fuck that but i got all the shrines. that was a fun game and still play it form time to time. Other game news, I FINALLY FOUND A COPY OF .HACK GU VOLUME 3 THAT WASN'T $70+ DOLLARS!!!?!?!!! It's on it's way now and should be here by the 23rd or something. I"m also going to be buying last recode at some point but not really soon because there's not really any preorder bonuses soooooooooooo yeah. Also also im gonna buy SOTC remaster when it comes out

and now to KH which i've been obsessing over lately. Like they make Riku so freaking gay. I don't know if they're doing it on purpose but some of his lines in DDD and how his monologues are written/translated in the chain of memories book like damn my boy is tHIRST Y for a certain air-headed boy.
God i hope kh3 doesn't get delayed or i'll probably instantly die of old age or something.

Or at least a head. I'm gonna use a completely foam base and i kinda like the idea of building it on a balaclava. I hope that translates well to a semi-realistic style haha

I'm also wondering if i cna skip the whole multiple layers of foam and then carve by getting jsut a large block of foam. that all depends on what i cna get my hands on though cause i've carved out of a block fo something before so it wouldn't be foreign territory and then slice the jaw to make the hinge or whatever.

I think i understand how to make the follow-me eyes pretty well and i've sculpted teeth before. I also have this instamorph stuff that dries completely white. I could also use that for a nose if i don't go to a silicone one.
I evne foudn a semi-simple way to make digitigrade elgs as well, but that might be too ambitious depending on how the head even goes

also im wary of sewing machines!! what if i sew my finger?? (also im just in general used to old fashion things. did you know we had a hand mixer for 4 years and the first time i used it was LAST year? and it wasn't because i didn't bake anything) so just imagine sewing all those seams by hand, yikes.

Honestly, he's probably a little easier to do cause his muzzle is pretty rectangular. the only oddities are his relatively low forehead , weird ears, and the snaggle-mouth.

As you cna see in this really-fucking-old-that-i-need-to-update refsheet, his head is pretty much a rectangle if you close his mouth.

I'm not even going to try for that stomach mouth, fuck that. But i also don't know how to get he bands on his tail. I didn't' look up tail tuts yet, but im hoping i can find something for a rat/possum tail

So, first one that i'll probably actually do is a slime mosnter because I DONT HAVE ONE. I mean who doesn't have a slime monster laying around being slimy? Apparently me.

He's gonna be like 100% slime. He'll be soft like mashed potatoes. I'm thinking he'll also be.. whatever temperature it is around him and won't like the cold. I think i'mma make him reddish-purple or purple. And! the interesting bit; he'll be able to make his body acidic. or more specifically, his inner fluidstuff. so his skin will still be safe to touch but you've got some problems if he slings some slime at you or drools/drips too much. He'll also get darker in color and give off heat.

I'm thinking like... some reaction in his body is creating the acid and therefore heat.

so that's it for slimeboy. He'll probably have a weird/tragic backstory.

There, Deic and Connie spot out 3 bachelors and you, the player, get to choose Deci's fate.

Anyway, I'm back for now and i have arting needs, also i have a functioning scanner now so im not limited to begin at the computer when i have ideas~ i can jsut jot them down in my sketchbook

And, let me get the mso timportant news outta the way; I will be opening commission slots sometime next week.
I'll either have 4 slots open or 3 slots and a YCH. I also still have an albino starwalker to sell, but i have to redo the ref sheet cause that fucking Dellgarbagecan destroyed it. So yeah, look forward to that~ Also bear in mind I've updated my TOS to be clearer and to keep everyone happy. So yeah, keep an eye out for that.

Let's see... what else... Ah, yes. New characters, those are happening again, yes. Firs tone has been in the making for a few weeks. He's a... well, if you're on SL, he has the Borealis head with tiger stripes. He also has a prosthetic arm and a 100% bullshit backstory that involves him being a masseuse and clients having a Thing for prosthetics, much to his displeasure. so that's fun times. If you wanna see him in world, jsut send an IM to xerox silverfall (or if you just wanna hang out)

Also fun times is my MantaBoy. He doesn't have a name yet but his design was pretty solid form the get go. I kept changing his personality though. First I was gonna have him be really calm and peaceful and kinda meek really since Manta Rays aren't aggressive usually. But then, thanks to Persona 5 and some.. other things, I've realized that chocking and breath play is a Thing for me so now that's going to be his thing. But he's... not really being consensual about it in the beginning and it's always 100% deadly. More on that when i post his ref sheet. Hes.. not going to be a nice guy, really. He's actually gonna be pretty horrible to humans/land dwellers haha... ahem. moving on.

SPEAKING OF PERSONA 5 Y'ALL, LEMME TELL YA. I beat the game like 2.5 weeks after i got it (which was on launch day)? took me 159 hours I think. I'm on my second playthrough now and am stalling at the engine room for... reasons you will know if you've gotten to that point.
But duuuuuuuuuuude that game is the Shit. If you haven't played a Persona game and wanna get into it, P5 is a good start. though lemme warn you, you ARE limited on how long you can safely stay in a dungeon. Cause there are certain items that are hard to come by that you pretty much NEED. unless you have a buttload of cash for healing items. If you don't wanna deal with that, then maybe P4 is a good start for you. But either way, I love my Murder Son a lot. you'll know who he is when/if you play it.

Also on a smaller note, my love for gore has increased A LOT so uh... expect some of that. And if you're one to look at favorites.... yeah. I've given up on keeping it 'clean' (i love some blood and guts, not even sorry)
