It's the one with gabumon Lu to be precise. It was a series I started back then to be a way to study and practice new techniques and ideas while paying respect to the old Digimon World 1 game which, at the time, was one of only three Digimon games I ever played.

Well, fast forward 3 years later and after rediscovering Digimon (And realizing that I missed out on a lot. Like, a lot a lot.) with a playthrough of Digimon World Decoded back at the beginning of this year. With it being a callback to DW1, I think the time is as good as ever to return to it and finally finish it off. To bring it up to current times and our digimon friend along with it.

I've been working on this project for the last few months so far now, planning and drawing while keeping to it's original goal of trying something new and experiment with it. While I was holding onto it until I was nearly finished so I didn't end up abandoning the series once again right in the middle of it, I did plant a little hint towards it's existence in a drawing and outright spoilers in another (If ya know, ya know). Our gabumon's goal is still the same, to reach the city. But he may find that the landscape has become a bit different than what he remembers, a bit more... modern. And he's gotta go with the changes in more ways than one.

Ok, now for the heads up. I'll be consolidating the old series into the new one by folder and FA's comic nav tag since there's quite a bit and linking to each part would take up a unreasonable amount of the description box. So if you notice those old part's name and description change a bit, that's the reason to it. Expect the first of the new part to be out in the next few days with new ones to follow in a bit of a spread since while i'm not totally finished with them, i've got enough work completed to keep a slow flow and not flood notices.

TL;DR : So digimon Lu is back, his series continues to completion, small changes to old submissions to get them ready and linked, new parts to follow.

So, i've been rather slow with a lotta ideas lately and feeling a bit stretched out with having so many forms so i'm going to be getting rid of a few, keeping some and later on introducing a new one to keep things more in line with what I want to experiment with.

So the first characters getting removed are the lugia and blaziken form. It's been quite awhile since I used the lugia for and even longer for the blaziken form along with them being rather samey with what I draw body style wise so they're gone.

Next is Orca lu, while I still love orcas he's been rather infrequent since I tied him to reality and the going ons here but that tied me down too much with what I could draw with him so I think it's for the best to let him go as well.

Now for the replacement, Bluejay lu. Now I know I just made a updated ref for him but i've been having a strong desire to return to basics with my deer 'sona *Tried to kick that urge with the last drawing of him but just made it stronger!* So bluejay lu is now deer lu again!

And finally for the new one... that'll be shown off later on today! Got a bit of motivation from a friend of mine to try something and with it I found out it could be good practice for some things. But i'll give you a hint, what flys, floats, and is considered a skyboat?

So to recap, Lapras and deathclaw forms stay, bluejay becomes deer, something new is on the way, and the lugia, blaziken, and orca sadly dissappear.

So, I'm not the best when it comes to talking about or getting the word out about many things but a bud of mine has a discord server with fat pokemon as it's focus and he's asked me to extend a invitation to anybody who's interested in it to take a look if they'd like. Hey-yo! It's been awhile since my last journal about commissions and how I had to hold them back with school starting. But now that it's been a few months and i've settled down into my schedule i've decided to open commissions to see where they would fit in with me completing them along with schoolwork.

So yes, i'm opening two slots for commission! Why just two? Mostly to test the time it takes to complete commissions without being overwhelmed with drawing and school so if you're interested and can take a possible wait then sign on up! And for the last part of this, the price changes. I'm not going to change the prices for this commission session but afterwards when I do finally figure out how school will impact my drawing time i'll adjust my prices accordingly so please be aware of future prices after this round of commission.

Ok with some thought and prodding i've decided to take a crack at commissions. I'll be taking a short experimental stint with this so there will be only two slots at first so I don't get overwhelmed.


:REQUESTS AND TRADES:

If the request status is set to closed, requests are only for friends of mine.

These rules also apply to both requests and trades minus the whole paypal thing. Only one slot with both just to keep things balanced.

So there are some rule to note before you take that slot so please read or you'll lose that slot!

1. Nothing adult themed,cub, underage (younger than 18) or other hardcore fetish stuff.I mostly stick to WG, and inflation but if i'm uncomfortable with the idea i'll let you know and see if we can work this out. I may post vore but I don't draw it often and I'd rather keep it to close friends, sorry.

2.No blood or gore. Small or cartoonish amounts are acceptable but keep it light! I'm not into drawing blood either so expect mixed results with it.

3. Please,PLEASE have a ref or at least one picture of your character in color when you request me, I want to make sure everything is right with what you get so it'll be better for the both of us!

4.Paypal only please!

5.If I feel uncomfortable with what you want I will deny it, but i'm willing to work with you to make it something acceptable.

6. Keep the copyrighted characters to a minimal, I will do pokemon and digimon.

If any of these rules are broken the commission will be cancelled and your spot will be given to someone else!

Ok, I know this is coming out of nowhere but I wanted to ask for some advice with drawing, the subject? Smudging lines.

With the last few projects i've been working on i've noticed that two things keeps happening and its either I accidentally smudge the lines with my hand while drawing or when i'm coloring in small spaces, the colored pencils like to smear and smudge the outline of what ever i'm trying to color in and makes dark streaks.

Can someone give me a few pointers and get me going in the right direction?

So after some tinkering I found a way to scan my drawings and get them onto this laptop so now I should be able to get back to posting and maybe get something out by the 4th of july.

Ok, who ever said lightning does not strike the same place twice did not know what they were talking about. Yesterday lightning got into the line again and got EVERYTHING in my room, computer, TV, internet box and so on. We just got the box replaced today and i'm using my dad's old laptop to post this but it's plain to see that I won't be submitting for awhile and won't be on as often either so I apologize to those watching me and hope that you can be patient while things are brought back together! I don't know how long it may be but heres hoping that its just a short wait.

New life goal set!

So Zeus decided that I didn't draw enough and decided to punish me by frying my PS3 during the storm today. So without gaming there will be less distractions and that means I have to use art to fill in that entertainment gap and make more drawings so yay? but...I'm gonna miss that hunk of plastic. ;~;.

So after a few weeks I think i've settled down nicely here and i've decided to continue with my current rate of releasing at least 4 drawings a month untill I start school in a few months, after that we'll see how my schedule works out before I say anymore. Things are workin' out nicely and heres to hoping that they continue to stay favorable!
