E3 2018 Musings
Posted 7 years agoHaven't really been following it this much, but I felt as a FO fan I needed to check out Bethesda's showcase atleast for more information on FO76, how do I feel about it... Somewhat disappointed, I had a niggling feeling (as did many I suppose) that it was going to be a purely online game but I thought I'd wait until it had officially been called by Todd Howard.
Much to my disappointment it was, However. Howard, did say it could be played Solo so that was somewhat of a saving grace for me as long as I can turn off other players to some degree, play my own server, explore and quest in West Virginia on my own I can deal with it. hopefully that will be the case.
I never did see the Fallout Franchise as an 'Multiplayer' game since the singularity of the player character has been at the forefront of the game mythos, for as long as I can remember. Lone Wanderer, Sole Survivor, The Courier. I don't know maybe a lot of this is due to my own prejudices of a immense loathing of PvP and Co-op games. I'm of the analogue generation of gamer's from the early 90's upwards, online play was never a focus then, well not as much as it is today atleast. I feel the online aspects make it too competitive and not really that enjoyable as a solo experience anymore. Still I am willing to give it a chance due to my love of the Fallout Franchise and I won't be one to cast it aside due to my own beliefs on Multiplayer games. As long as other players leave me alone during my sessions I will be content.
I did find my interest piqued at a couple of titles mind including Rage 2 (For it's Borderlands/Mad Max style aspects) Starfield and naturally Elder Scrolls VI, they will hopefully remain single player as it's seemed to be implied. Outside of Bethesda I was also interested by Cyberpunk 2077 from the Witcher 3 team. However over the next few days I will be looking to acquire Jurassic World Evolution, because who doesn't want to build there own Jurassic Park.

Bunch of Inspirations for my Stories
Posted 10 years agoI recently uploaded a bunch of various images which i've drawn as inspirations for a series of Sci-Fi Stories i'm currently trying to work on. These images consisted of Spacecraft , Enemies and of course the main characters. Lupus my Fursona is obviously posing as the main protagonist (In one of his many guises) and the stories are also going to include a few other of my characters to including Redd, Caroline, Vlad and Lindberg playing major parts aswell. I also may decide to incorporate a few more of them as I progress.
I hope by uploading these first few pictures of my inspirations it will force me to actually carry on and eventually maybe even complete these stories (Shock). I'm probably going to end up uploading many more pictures relating to the series for myself really (Although not all will be Anthro related). I hope by having them up on her and people viewing the images it will actually encourage me to get off my arse and get on with them. My attention span for typing is incredibly low and hopefully this will focus me.

Lion King Stage Show
Posted 11 years agoOkay so i got to see one of the theater shows I've always wanted to see now. I saw the Lion King in Cardiff and quite frankly I was blown away. The show was brilliant and the costumes were exquisite and I implore that everyone should make the time to go and see it, even if not a theater fan.
I've seen a few theater shows now including 'We Will Rock You' and 'Spamalot' and this is now by far my favorite. As a child The Lion King was my favorite Disney film so i'm maybe slightly biased but it's worth anyone's money to experience it, and it is an experience and an epic one at that.

Loved the New Doctor Who Episode
Posted 11 years agoOkay I really enjoyed the new Doctor Who Episode. i knew Capaldi's would be good but he really took to the part well tonight. I am really looking forward to seeing how this new series will work out. I also loved the new look TARDIS and Opening Sequence aswell. The end made me think a bit too i have a vague idea in my head of what it may be about but it could and probably is going to be proved wrong :3
Great Holiday, Back to normality now
Posted 11 years agoTouched down in London yesterday after a great holiday in Stockholm, i have always wanted to see Sweden and was glad i finally did and i wasn't disappointed, The only problem being the sheer expense of things over there. I knew it was expensive but it even took me by surprise. I reckon i would deffo like to go again but i would probably like to see the more rural areas of Sweden especially the Skerries which are supposed to be beautiful. Before that though i reckon a lot of saving is in order. different subject I reckon i will need to get back into my drawing mind been over a week sine I last uploaded.
Figure it's time to change this
Posted 11 years agoDunno what to though, apart from my holiday to Sweden being booked an all good to go. Nothing really noteworthy has happened of late
Need to sort this Laziness Rut out
Posted 12 years agoFeels like i've been a bit to lazy of late. I feel I have been gaming way to much and not really achieving anything. I need to kick myself up the ass and try to peel myself away from GTA V (Damn you Rockstar and your awesome game making, life stealing abilities). I think it's time to try and get back into my drawing but if I don't feel the 'Spark' I usually get when I produce my best work my resulting picture is Sub-Standard compared to my personal view on my own skills. Come on Spark turn up already. Im hoping to get some new work out soon though for my own personal sanity x3
So, Peter Capaldi
Posted 12 years agoSo Matt Smith's Successor is going to be Peter Capaldi, Fairplay I think he has the potential to be a good fit for the Doctor.
In my Opinion I think he reminds me a bit of a cross between Tennent and Baker. Looking at him in the Reveal Show he looks to me like he is going to be a Darker more Broody Doctor and a lot more serious. He is going to be totally Different from the Aloof and Wistful Matt Smith.
TBH im really looking forward to his first outing as i'm really excited to see how he is going to portray the Doctor I reckon he has the potential to be a great Doctor and I hope he doesn't dissappoint.
I will say this though when they interviewed Matt Smith in the show, he did seem like he was really going to Miss being the Doctor. And Rufus Hound's almost Slip Up (Peter Eccleston) was rather amusing. Just really looking forward to the special 50 years episode now aswell

Completed the 'Cornetto' Trilogy Now.
Posted 12 years agoSo I have now seen all the films in the 'Cornetto' Trilogy. Went and saw 'World's End' yesterday, and I gotta say what a brilliant, brilliant film throughout. I may be so bold to say out of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, Worlds End was by far the best of the three.
It's everything you expected from a typical Pegg and Frost film:- Quintessentially British, Irrelevant, Crude, Geeky, Hilarious and in celebration of Beer (What more could one ask for).
I also loved the fact that Pegg drove an Old Ford Granada known as 'The Beast' and wore a 'Sisters of Mercy' Tee throughout
You need to see this film in my opinion, truly magnificent piece of British film making x3

Hitting 27 Next Week
Posted 12 years agoSo it's my 27th Next Week, gotta say haven't really made any plans for it, other than probably getting wasted and milling about on my Week Off (You Gotta Get your B'day Week Off). Feeling pretty odd about it since it's only going to be 3 years till I hit 30. I do tend to get a little melancholy thinking about it since I still feel slightly unfulfilled and unsure about my true life goals and what I want for myself. However it is but a number and i'm sure i'll enjoy it whatever I do.
Thinking about getting 'Last of Us' on Playstation for a self B'day gift since i've heard it to be very good and I got the New Powerwolf album released late July so that's pretty good and with speak circling about a Holiday to Scandinavia next year (New Home of Heavy Metal) it give me something to possibly look forward to

Got my New MP3
Posted 12 years agoPicked up a New MP3 player. A Sony Walkman in a rather dashing Lime Green, already managed to get the majority of my Music Library onto it with Space Left over (So big compared to my old 2Gb Samsung) for the new Airbourne Album when it's released later this month among many others.
Still don't understand how the Lyric Recogniser Karaoke feature thingy works though, it didn't really explain it in the manual so if anyone has one of these devices and can enlighten me please do so as it would be very much appreciated (Keep it simple as possible please, Im not at all techy)
Best thing was I didn't get an iPod so I kept my old Media Player files plus it has Buttons and isn't Touch Screen which is also a bonus since I can't get on with this new fangled 'touch' nonsense. I love it when stuff has no need to change. Hopefully this Sony will serve me as well as my old Samsung has, its lasted me must be at least several years and is still working so I've retired it as a spare

Boxes look like they've gone Yay
Posted 12 years agoBeen a few weeks since i had my boxes issue but touch wood it seems to have gone now and it's business as usual
Still The Boxes
Posted 12 years agoUgh it's been almost a week now and my pictures still don't seem to be uploading fully, Im getting the Thumbnails and stuff, and the pictures SEEM to be fine on the Database, but Im still getting that stupid box in my picture gallery. Just want to know if any one else is having this slightly annoying problem. It's made more annoying by the fact that my most recent uploads I feel have been some of my better pictures, and I cant fully enjoy viewing them in my Gallery. I really hope this is just a tempory blip on the site and it will correct itself given a bit more time. Haha but knowing my luck with anything computer based it's probably something to do with my useless machine, and I'll just have to get used to it
Whats with the stupid Boxes
Posted 12 years agoJust asking if any one else is getting weird upload things on here, I just uploaded a picture and it has only appeared as a stupid little box and you cant see the picture on the Thumbnail. What's with that it's just staying as that and the picture only appears when you click the stupid little box twice. This has never happened on any of my other uploads in the past so it's a bit annoying can anyone please enlighten me as I hope this isn't going to continually happen now it's making my gallery look untidy.
Comic History is Made
Posted 13 years agoBit of a shot to my Childhood today. I learned that after 75 Years 'The Dandy' a British Comic Institution announced that they were releasing their final EVER paper copy. I felt a bit disappointed that it would no longer be available in Paper I collected both the Beano and Dandy Comic's as a child in the nineties I grew up reading them both. Although it will still be in existence as a 'Digital' Copy I feel it will never be the same again.
I felt obliged to buy the final ever copy (Which Sold Out in Half-an-Hour) and I will be getting it framed and preserved for the future as a piece of Comic History

Finally arrived at the 'Gangnam' Party
Posted 13 years agoSaw the 'Gangnam Style' video that has become somewhat of a Meme of late. Bit late to the Party I know as it has been in circulation for a while but all i can say is that I found it freaking hilarious. The song was one of the biggest crocks of shit I have heard in a long while but it's infectiously catchy and it's been in my head pretty much most of the day.
Only wish i'd seen it sooner, was in hysterics x3

Sabaton Gig
Posted 13 years agoI finally have my Sabaton tickets for there gig in Cardiff 10th November, people who know me kow what a big deal this is for me, Sabaton are my absolute favourite band atm and tbh nobody doe Epic Metal as much as those Hard working Swedes (they hosted a Concert on a god damn Battle-cruiser in the Baltic Sea for Heavens sake), in my opinion they have gone from strength to strength over the years and i believe they have a well deserved place with the big names in the Metal scene (I can guarantee some will disagree with me on that Statement) but its my personal opinion anyway really looking forward to seeing them.
Im pretty set up for gigs this year now I think because including Sabaton I am also seeing Firewind and Alice Cooper later this year

It's finally opened
Posted 13 years agoWas pretty chuffed to hear that the new Dr. Who Experience in Cardiff Bay is opening up this Friday and Joy of Joys im off Work, haha thats my Friday sorted. when I first noticed it was leaving it's relatively small exibition post in the Red Drago Centre and moving to a large institute down in the Bay well I knew I would deffo be checking it out and who knows may even see Matt Smith down there admittedly he isn't as good as Tennent was but would still be up for meeting him hopefully. I only fear the sheer amount of people that will be there I can't stand huge crowds but am sure it will be worth the trial of people in the end. Looking forward to this one
:3
Posted 13 years agoHad a Good Holiday but back to work Next Week :3

PS3 Skyrim Water Crash
Posted 13 years agoAll PS3 Skyrimmer's I need help. I have a query in regards to the Water Crash Issue that befell the last PS3 update of Skyrim (I Downloaded it in regards to Dawnguard being released on the 360 today) and I just want to know how you resolve the issue on the game. I tried deleting just the game data and re-installing it but it didn't work so do I need to delete both the Update AND the Game Data and re-install them as a collective or just delete and re-install the Update Data on it's own instead.

A Bit too convinient for a Zombieapokalypse
Posted 13 years agoalthough I love 'The Walking Dead' and think its a brilliant show it always seems a bit too convenient, there is always a Medicine or Water Truck just when the cast need one or a convenient Squad Car for when they need Ammo or Flares, or a Convenient way to shake the Undead Hordes be it an Air-Vent or a Ladder. it makes me laugh and sometimes wish for the Zombies to get a leg up on them yet it's good enough to grip you and keep you watching. But although it's a very entertaining show but a bit far away from the Graphic Novels in my Opinion x3
