The list is on DA but that doesn't mean I don't accept commissions here; I'm just too lazy to make a new list. XD

Just got back from RMFC last night, and lemme tell you we had a blast! I'll admit that I was a little awkward and unsure at first, but once I relaxed and really allowed myself to talk to people and have fun I had, well, fun! It was first con I've ever attended so I had no idea what to expect, but I really liked it and I hope I'll get to go to more in the future.
Unfortunately I didn't take a lot of pictures with my camera, but Tes and Undead took some with theirs so once they send them I'll see what's worth sharing 'round here.
In short I had a lot of fun, met some awesome people;  KazulGFox and  FrosteeFox who I hope to see again sometime, and I have also been inspired to start some new fursuit projects. One I had already started before the con and I should have it done at the latest by October (it'll most likely be done before then) and I'm thinking of re-doing my WindWolf suit next year or the year after. We will see!

Also, I have discovered that the scariest thing you will ever see is Wind, Tes, Undead, and Noble running on little sleep and soda running around their hotel room with the bed sheets as props. XD

I saw a lot of people doing this, so I figured I would too.

I am so happy right now I could explode! So,  Tsebresos called me a little while ago and informed me that Deimos has been sold for more than we had expected. I tell ya, I screamed, she screamed... and we are pretty loud. XD Gah! I'm just so happy that Deimos sold and to someone who will take good care of him.

Also, Tes and I are heading off to RMFC tomorrow (more like some unholy hour tonight) and I'm way excited about that. It'll be my first con and I don't even know how to contain myself *bounces off the walls*. If you're going I hope you take the time to say hi to us, I'd love to meet some of you there.

I am temporarily closing my commissions for the next week (maybe longer). As soon as monday  Tsebresos and I will be doing essentially nothing but working on the Deimos fursuit, in fact I'll probably just stay at her house for the entire week. We estimate that he will be ready to start selling by the fallowing week, that is, we'll have to do more for him once we get the exact measurements for whoever is going to buy him so we can make a full suit.

Keep an eye out! This next week is going to get very busy!

I'm back! And, whew; I am tired!

My trip to the cabin was... interesting, this time. First off, I've been going there since I was born and I've always known that in the summer there are a few deer flies, and when they bite you it hurts like heck (I've even been bitten through my jeans before), they're not usually very bad though and are pretty easy to avoid if you just use bug spray. Well, this time there seemed to be an awful lot of them and even when I wore the bug spray they still were swarming me! I didn't get bit, but I can't figure out why they like me so much. As consequence I ended up inside of the cabin for the majority of the trip, which sucks because I really like roaming the woods there.

As well as the deer flies being irritating as crap, when we went down to the lake to try and fish there were more bugs! Not deer flies, or even the big weird brown bugs that hatched when we went in May, but there was a ton of them and as usual they swarmed up so fishing on the West side of the lake became impossible. I did try fishing on the West side, but it was getting dark very fast and the bats were coming out (I love bats, but they run into my line and I don't want them to get hurt) so even though there were fish jumping and I got a few nibbles we had to go back to the cabin. I didn't catch a single fish.

Also, I do believe that that was the worst couple of nights I have ever spent at the cabin in my life. I usually sleep like a baby there, but this time for whatever reason there were way too many spiders. Now, me and my mom are deathly afraid of spiders. Deathly. So as you can imagine it didn't go over very well and we spent the nights awake for fear of a spider crawling on us. It was weird. In my whole life I've only ever seen one, maybe two spiders inside of the cabin at a time, never anything like this. I don't know whats up, must just be the year of the bugs, but I sure don't like it.

Anyways, I still enjoyed my time up there and I hate having to come back. I am very tired right now though and it looks like we're in for a boring night as our family and friends seem to want to celebrate the 4th without my mom and I. Oh well, I'm too tried to care.

I am feeling a bit more artistic and next week I'm going to hit the ground running, starting with a challenging commission (I'm a little apprehensive about it) and then on to working hard on fursuits. I'll keep you updated.

Something funny for you though; while I was at my cabin I went o go change out of my pajamas one morning up in the room I like to sleep in, which has an uncurtained window facing the top road. I usually get down on the floor when I change to make sure no one sees me, but this time I thought "no one is here, no one is going to walk by" so I decided to stand up in front of the window and change. Once changed and heading down the stairs I proudly announced to my mom "I had no shame!" and that I had changed into my clothes without trying to hide. My mom then laughed and informed me that some people had been walking their dogs past the cabin and they had stopped and stared up at the cabin for an unusually long moment. They must have seen me in my underwear. Go figure! The one time I decide not to hide someone just happens to walk by! :lol:

Hey everyone, how's it going?

Me? Well, I'm okay. Just a little mopy. So far this month looks both stupid, and busy.
Stupid because there is next to nothing going on. I was going to go up to Scofield with my friend Icei on my birthday and go fishing for the day, but she has cancelled and it's made me sad to say the least, I was really looking forward to that. But I shouldn't be surprised, this has happened several times. So my birthday is going to be boring most likely, but it doesn't really matter. And as for 4th of July, which used to be one of my favorite holidays; we're doing nothing for it and it's looking pretty boring too (our friends and family never invite us to anything unless it's out of pity). Luckily though my mom knows how to cheer me up so we're going to the cabin tomorrow for a couple days just me and her, but we'll probably be back on the 4th because it gets horribly crowded up there.
This month is looking busy because  tsebresos and I have three suits to make by the first week of August (well, she has her suit to work on, I have mine, and we're collaborating on Deimos). It's making me a little anxious I'll admit that we really haven't started yet and time is passing us by, but we'll get it done. We'll probably have to do nothing but work on fursuit stuff, but we'll get it done.
Speaking of which, does anyone like my character Deimos and is anyone interested in owning him as a suit? I know we haven't started him yet, but I just want to see if anyone would like to think about owning him for themselves. Anyone at all?

Well, I suppose I should go do something productive now. I haven't been feeling very artistically motivated lately. I need to snap out of it.

I just want to inform you about my plans for the summer. First off I am improving one of my fursuits (the grey one) with the help of  Tsebresos who has graciously allowed me to buy a resin blank off her so I can attempt to make my suit look good for once. The mask should be done soon and I'll try to get pictures up shortly after. Also, Tes and I are going to start work on a suit of Deimos very soon. He will be for sale (get excited, get very excited) and I will use my half of the monies to attend Rocky Mountain Fur Con with Tes. And she and I are also still working the Fledge animation (we haven't forgot). Tes is doing the initial sketch animation and has made some excellent progess and in fact I do think that I may be able to start inking and coloring a few of the sketched frames soon once we find a way to convert them to a GIF file so that I can work with them. I'm not going to put a due date on it, both Tes and I are very busy, but it will happen eventually.

Well, that is the majority of my summer! I will not be going to Idaho with my dad (cause I'm a big girl now and I don't want to) so I'll have more time to work on projects. I am also planning a little something else that I will possibly begin work on after RMFC and when fall semester starts, but I'm not going to tell you what it is yet!

Just got back from the cabin an hour or so ago. It was so nice up there! It was a little more crowded than I would have preferred, but it could have been way worse (4th of July week is a MESS). Unfortunately my fishing trip was a complete failure. We got there at the right time but the wind wouldn't stop blowing so it became very difficult to keep our lines out in deep water long enough before they were blown back in, and then I dropped my phone into the lake and now it's acting kinda funny. I probably need a new one. Anyway, so that fishing attempt didn't work, we went back a few hours later but the mayflies must have hatched or were breeding because I've never seen more bugs in one place in my entire life! It was insane! But, because I was reluctant to give up we tried again the next morning but the bugs were still terrible and we were swarmed before to long and ended up running back to the car, screaming and flailing the entire way (some old fishermen thought we were funny but then I saw them doing close to the same thing). So, bad fishing trip. I doubt the fish would have gone for my bait anyway, they must have been full of bugs.

Other than that it was a lovely vacation and I will try another fishing trip some other time, and I will catch a big tiger trout then.

EDIT: So apparently after talking with  tsebresos she found out that she was billed double for RMFC too. What is going on? Has this happened to anyone else?

I just got screwed over. For some reason when I registered for Rocky Mountain Fur Con they charged me twice. TWICE! That is a lot of money that I did not have to spare! Now I am up crap creek without a paddle cause I have to pay for a year fishing license for myself this week, plus fishing lures on top of that. And while I may have enough to do that it doesn't leave me with an amount that I am very comfortable with. Crud! I was sittin pretty and was not feeling overly worried money-wise and now this bs happens. *bangs head on desk*. This sucks. Although somehow I am not surprised that of all the stupid things that tend to happen this would be one of them. I often tend to be a very unlucky person. Well, I just hope they'll refund me, if not I'm out an extra 35 bucks and that really irritates me.

The lesson here, my dear children, is to check your bank account more often then I do.

On the bright side I am very excited to go up to our family's cabin. I am gonna do some kick-@$$ rock art and this time I will catch a tiger trout. And a big one to boot! *has the fishing fever*

When the day comes that you're working on a commission and you suddenly realize that you're muttering "I hate this, I hate this so much" under your breath to yourself you know that you have a problem and you need to do something about it. So, I have officially decided that as of today I will no longer be drawing anthros as commissions. I have found that I'm still not quite where I want to be artistically enough to feel comfortable drawing them for other people. When I do a commission for someone I want it to be my best and I feel terrible when it falls short, and let's face it my anthros are not the best.

I don't want anyone trying to tell me how to draw them, or trying to "help" me though. I do know how to draw them, but I just need to finesse them a little before I am comfortable offering them as commissions again. I will take this time to practice and grow, then we shall see.

However, I will offer anthro badge commissions now (it's easier since it's not a full body shot).

I just took my last final (goodness know what I got on it though) and now I don't have anything else to do but work on art stuffs! Finally! I've got so many ideas in my squishy little head, and now I can finally get to work on them. Right, so my professors are really cracking down now that there's something like less than a month of this semester left (more or less) so now I've got around 4 papers to write (I know it's more than that), at least 2 if not 3 powerpoint presentations to make, and of course multiple tests and quizzes to do. I'm swamped. This means that I'm closing commissions right now so if you already commissioned me for something I'm just sayin right now that it's going to be a little late so please bear with me.

Attention all Utahn furries and fursuiters! Tsebresos and I are hosting a furmeet at Cornbelly's next Friday, Oct. 26! Everyone is invited; full suits, half suits, whatever you want!

We will be meeting at the entrance to Cornbelly's (right behind Thanksgiving Point), at 6:00pm. Tes and I will be leaving at 8:00pm, but if you really want to you can stay as long as you want.

Cornbelly's is a family friendly, safe environment with a lot of kids and people, so theres no need to worry about anything bad happening (if you or your parents are worried).

We will be doing the following activities: greeting people who approach us, going through the maze, going through the Creature, the slide, and whatever else we decide to do that our suits can handle without being ruined.

Be aware that your suit WILL get a little dirty, we will do our best to do activities that won't be so dirty, but its just to be expected.

Admission is $10.95 for the laughin day pass, and make sure you also bring money for food and drinks. You may also want to bring your camera as we will be taking a ton of pictures. A badge is recommended but not required (its just nice to be able to put a name with the mask so we can recognize each other).

Remember! This is a kid-friendly place so try to keep everything you do and say appropriate. Kids WILL approach you, touch you, pull your tail, hug you, and want to take pictures with you. BE SURE you do not pick up kids, follow kids, or approach kids when they seem afraid of you, or you will likely be asked to leave.
