Orphans Works Act is back
Posted 10 years agoAbout 5 or so years ago congress tried to pass an act that would have stripped artists of the ownership of what they made unless they paid a fee. It was called the "Orphaned Works Act"
Well they are trying to do it again.
They are trying to change the way work is copyrighted, as it is right now the moment you make a piece of art it is yours. They want to make it so you have to pay a fee and register any work you make. Any work not registered is considered "orphaned" and up for grabs.
This law was made to be easily exploited by companies not wanting to pay for artwork and to break the back of the lowly artist.

Patreon, Lending Link Out's new home
Posted 10 years agoLending Link Out is now on my Patreon. All future chapters will be made through my patreon! It is just easier to keep track of backers , receive funds and post work. Also it allows me to guarantee more pages are done in a timely manner.
That isn't the only changes to my Patreon.
More pictures each month. I have increased the amount of pictures I do each month. For each $200 on my patreon I will make complex color picture or comic page.
More personal rewards. I want to reward people who stick with my patreon and continue to give month to month. So I have added lifetime amount rewards for patreons who give $50 or more a month. For every $100 given you receive a simple color picture. More details on my patreon page.
