As we come out on the other side of Ian I just wanted to update everyone.
I'm okay, and so is my family. I'm not going to downplay it, there was a point where I thought I might lose my parents & brothers to the devastating storm surge. Thankfully the storm shifted on approach and the surge they got was minimal.
We don't know how our (rental) house fared. We won't be able to check until the flood waters recede enough to allow traffic.
We may have extensive water damage or roof damage from the intense winds, storm surge and rain. We were pretty much a direct hit and got the eye wall (even where we evacuated).

Similarly, I obviously won't be able to work until we have power back, and we don't have an estimation for that yet. For the last hurricane of this size and track(Charley), it took a couple weeks to restore power.

I expect at least a workweek that I'll need to take off. I'll contact any clients effected and rearrange my schedule to get everything done once the dust settles.

Hey there!
Just a reminder to everyone who has submitted to my waitlist, I'm just one sheep! I often get more submissions than I have time for in a given month, which means...well I get a backlog! Which is fine, since nobody has paid yet...but it does lead to some strange feelings (on both sides!).

I start to feel embarrassed that I can't do everything, which makes me less likely to book older slots, my anxiety assuring me that they probably aren't interested anymore. I'm trying to do better about this and contact people about Older entries (some 6+ months old!) instead of assuming things.

In January 2022 I'll be increasing my flat pricing from $50/hr to $60/hr.
If you want to get anything at the current price please be sure to get in the waitlist ASAP for November/December slots!
Depending how many slots I have left in the waitlist as of January I may charge my old prices until I clear out old submissions, I'm not sure yet. It really depends on my finances and how many slots remain!

There are a lot of factors I considered when making this decision and honestly it's been a long time coming. Increases in fees, cost of living, and the amount of work I'm able to get done in the time are big on that list. I'm also hoping to move soon so more income would be very helpful ^^; I also presently work...a lot... (Three 8-12 hour streams a week + two 5-8 hour streams, Oof) and I'd like to be able to take more time off, and the only way to afford that is to raise prices.
I will continue to offer a small amount of non-timed work monthly (YCHs, Events, etc) that will have a tighter price-range since the freedom that offers has been nice, and offering lower budget options introduces me to new clients. :)

It's been about six months since I went from $35 --> $40 and it's about time I up pricing again to match demand and my increased skill at creating things quickly.

New Pricing will be a flat $50 / hour - sold in 1 or 2 hour blocks.
I will also be taking fewer slots each stream, four instead of five. I will fill any remaining time I have in streams with YCHs and Adopts / Character designs- or take the time off.
There will also be changes coming to Patreon in August to match these changes(Mainly to Firefly & Dragonfly tiers)- a bit staggered to give people time to unsubscribe or change their tier as necessary to get the rewards they want.


This is mainly for personal reasons, long work-nights (8-10 hours or more) have been wearing on me and I'm experiencing some burn-out and have noticed the quality of some of my work has declined. I'm hoping reducing hours and working on things I'm interested in a bit more (YCHs, Character Designs) may help me recover from this and produce the quality content I want to!
A price increase allows me to reduce my working hours and be more attentive to the slots I do take.

If we have discussed something specifically at the current price-point and have scheduled it already for July it'll be at the old price ($40/hr)

If you were not chosen and are wondering why, the answer is most likely one of the following;
a) your request went against my will/will not draw list and was thrown out
b) your request wasn't interesting or I've done a lot of similar themes lately
c) your character design is intimidating, complex or confusing, or references were unclear and I opted for something simpler
d) your request was very vague or bland and didn't spark any ideas

I've been working with lillianwinters who wants to give away free commission slots with their character(s)!
(Feral Preferred, but anthro versions available as well)

Things to keep in mind:
- These will be hand-picked by Lillian, not raffled randomly!
- These slots will be done over the coming months, a little at a time. If you're chosen Lillian will contact you and you two can discuss the commission idea at further length before the stream day your slot ends up being scheduled for.
- The time spend on these slots will vary, some folks' ideas will only need 1hr while others may need longer.
- My Will/Will Not Draw list still applies! There are things that are on the associated kinklists that I do not draw, please double check if its something you haven't seen me draw before.

TLDR:
1. Check my Will/Will Not Draw and confirm your idea is okay (https://www.f-list.net/c/lustylamb%20comms)
2. Submit to the waitlist (http://bit.ly/StreamWaitlist)
3. If chosen from the waitlist you'll get an invoice (usually around the 10th and 20th of the month)
4. Pay the invoice, attend the stream (or not) & get your art! Everyone's happy, yay!

If for whatever reason you cannot pay your invoice by your scheduled date (visible on the itemized section of the invoice, and the day after payment is due) contact me and we can either reschedule or cancel your commission.

If you do not contact me prior to the invoice due date to let me know you can't pay I will be very hesitant to work with you in the future.
It's really shitty to have work scheduled and then have to scramble to fill the slot because someone didn't inform me they couldn't get the comm anymore.
I totally understand that situations change, but it's downright rude and disrespectful to not let me know so I can plan accordingly!

i've started naming timed commissions again - does anyone actually care abt this / prefer this to the naming convention I used before? (Date Completed | Commissioner -versus- Title | Commissioner)
