Alright, so here's how I'll be going about things.

As soon as FA's upload system goes back up, everyone's going to upload their art at once. That's probably going to drown out my art. So what I'm planning to do is to just wait until a quiet period, and start posting the stuff I've done in the meantime. So far that's four pics (not counting the three alts, and introducing a new OC), with a fifth coming soon hopefully.

All I'm doing today is just switching my SFW Discord's display name and profile pic to the one I had for years before taking on the DomanDragon name.

2024 was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I got a Steam Deck to start the year off, which was a massive blow to my productivity. However, I don't think I mentioned this anywhere but friends' DMs, but I moved into a new place too. Granted, it's only because I live with family who themselves moved, but it's been exciting (and keeping me busy) nonetheless. My job search hasn't been going well - I'm honestly kinda losing hope that I'll be able to get a better job.

On the online side of things - 2024 was the fifth anniversary of me using the Lutnut215 name! I had a couple of NSFW-focused OCs before 2019, but I didn't really start using them and exploring the inflation and hyper communities more until that year. While my current following isn't that big, I still appreciate you all nonetheless, and I'm happy with where I am.

In terms of art... well, you can see where I've failed. I'm still not much of an artist, and my lack of skill is why my motivation's so shot. I also just have motivation issues in general - if it's not quick and easy dopamine, I have trouble getting up to do it. ADHD sucks. My New Year's resolution is to draw more this year, hopefully I can actually get something done. (Update: as of May, I think this is going pretty well.)

Just wanted to update you all on a couple of things.

Firstly, I've been suffering major art block for a long time. I've been able to work up motivation to draw one or two new pieces, but for the most part... bleh. As for new art in general, I haven't really been commissioning any NSFW stuff outside of an adopt I recently got and am still working on info for. The big reason is because I was saving for a local convention, and I do have student loans to pay as well. I have some cash now, and I do want to get a new commission, but I don't know who to comm.

Uploads will likely return soon, but there are a ton of adopts I need to work on info for. Once I finish with my most recent one, I'll get started on some of the others. Here's a list if anyone wants to suggest who I should work on first.

Also, I've started using my Bluesky account way more now! I'll be crossposting between Bluesky and Twitter, and responding to replies and DMs on both, but a lot of my other interactions will be on Bluesky for now.

Many of you already know from the site's banner that Dragoneer, the creator of FurAffinity, has passed away. There's been speculation about the circumstances, but personally, it's not my place to pry into what might have happened.

What I can say is that I've heard doubts about how FA will carry on after this, since the site's supposedly in a pretty worrying state financially. Personally, I intend to stay with FA until it's well and truly over. When that day comes, I have a presence on many other social media sites, including Twitter, DeviantArt, and more, under the username Lutnut215, and I have a Discord server if anyone wants to hang out and chat there.

Either way, I have one thing to say. Thank you, Dragoneer, for providing the community with a place to post their art freely, even if it's terrible like mine.

So we're halfway into June, which means Art Fight is in just a couple weeks. I'll be participating, and hopefully this'll get me to get off my ass and actually pick up my tablet.

Recently I noticed that there's quite a few folks in my friend circle who are really into trains. When I pointed this out on Twitter, a mutual of mine pointed out the autism connection, and that got me thinking. I feel like a good amount of people in the hyper/inflation community might have some sort of neurodivergence, which, I'll admit, is somewhat comforting. (Sound off in the comments if you fall into that camp - honestly I'm tempted to do some kinda study on the connection between this kind of stuff.) I personally have ADHD myself, and I've been meaning to get tested for autism, but I haven't been able to find a psychologist who accepts my insurance. (I'm pretty sure I have some form of it, though.)

Anyway, I've been a bit hesitant to include that sort of thing in my OCs since I worry too much about fetishizing mental disorders. However, I was telling my girlfriend Rylie about a comm I'm waiting on, and I came to realize that the character in it has quite a few autistic tendencies. I decided that eh, since I'm in that camp, it's not really that big a deal. After all, half the time I think more about who my characters are as individuals, rather than how big their boobs are. I don't know how much I'll be showing said neurodivergence in art here, but still. Just thought I'd talk a bit about this.

Side note: some of the characters in question who are neurodivergent include Alyssa, Lani, Kayla, Shay, Daisy, and my two 'sonas, Will and Blaire.

In my recent submission mentioning a character named Iris, I made some mistakes with the PostyBirb submission. These mistakes have been fixed, and Demonzoroark and inkyruler have both been properly tagged.

As you all may know, Twitter is having a lot of trouble thanks to Elon Musk, FurAffinity suffered a small implosion after it started taking aim at shortstack characters by accident while going for underage characters, and DeviantArt's drowning in AI-generated artwork. Because of this, it can be hard to find a foothold on these sites! I'd like to spread my work to more people, so I created a few accounts on other sites. I've decided to re-open my request form. I started off using it as a queue of sorts, but I ended up using it as more of a list of "what should I draw next" suggestions. I realized it didn't really make sense to keep it closed, so... yeah.

(TL;DR, I'm angry that FA is perpetrating the myth of "SFW kinks," allowing minors to be depicted in fetish situations if they're "SFW.")

First off, some statements I'd like to make:

- All my OCs are over 18.
- I do not believe in the "they're fictional" argument - if you're into loli in particular, it means you see something in underage characters that you don't see in adult ones.
- The term "lolicon" is short for "Lolita complex," which is a fancy term for pedophilia. It refers to a book about a man having an affair with an underage girl, knowing how fucked-up it is but not caring.
- There is no such thing as an "SFW kink," since kinks and fetishes are inherently a sexual thing.
- As someone who's been targeted by a child groomer who defended loli, anyone who sincerely believes the "most people who claim to want to protect kids by banning loli are actually pedophiles themselves" claim can go fuck themselves IMO.

Now, then...

FA released an update to its rules that bans all "but she's actually a thousand-year-old dragon" stuff, such as Ilulu from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, who's the equivalent of 16. Naturally, I was thrilled. Then came the clarification:

"Minors involved in SFW or non-sexualized interests, such as vore and transformation, are allowed."

...Well. Transformation I understand since it's harmless enough even in an NSFW context, but vore? The act of deriving pleasure from being consumed? Sure, there's contexts like the "we have to go into someone's body to kill the virus" episodes of certain cartoons, but vore is about the pleasure of being on either the giving or receiving end. There's something similar with inflation - if it's used as the focus of something instead of a punchline, it borders on a fetish, and as I mentioned in my opening statements, there's no such thing as an "SFW fetish."

I plan to watch and see how things go - however, this site is where most of my interactions come from, so what alternatives do I have? Twitter makes my argumentative tendencies worse, I haven't found many inflation artists on Weasyl, I can only post my own art on Pixiv and not my commissions, I already decided to quit DA because I kept forgetting to post there and the AI thing happened, and Inkbunny... well, considering that site was founded by staff members for a cub magazine, I'd rather not.

I suppose my Discord's always an available option, at least...

So... yeah. I haven't been posting much, for a few reasons. Where do I start...?

For one thing, I've got major art block. I haven't been particularly happy with the art I've been drawing. You can see my most recent personal works on Twitter, though I'm not sure I'll post them here.

The second issue has to do with writing. Recently I've gotten a few adopts: the fifth one here, this one, and this one, which LEDStorm and I are both using as the design for a pair of near-identical twins. I've been busy trying to think of bios for them, and I don't want to post them until I have said bios written (not to mention an upcoming bio rewrite for my character Iona). That said, the first one does have some info, which I've posted on my Twitter.

Finally... FF14. I'm playing a ton of it, and that's caused my motivation to slip a bit. Simple as that.

I’d like to make a few announcements regarding my content – both good news and bad news. As a refresher, for the few who haven’t been paying attention: I’ve been drawing a bit more! I’m starting to take pride in my work after discovering a secret to drawing anatomy and making my lines look good.


First off, I’m temporarily closing my request form due to an overwhelming number of submissions (at least, overwhelming for a neurodivergent beginner). Once I get more of them done, I’ll be re-opening requests and making a channel in my Discord server, so you don’t have to fill out the form if you join.

Second announcement is in the same vein. There’s three requests in particular I’ll be finishing first, as well as some things related to the next announcement. After those, I’ll be taking a bit of a break from requests – I want to prepare for the holidays, and take care of a few personal things.

Third big announcement, something I've always wanted to say: I’ll be working on adopts soon! They’ll be SFW and come with simple clothes, with optional add-ons you can pay for. This may include alternate outfits, versions without "Disney nudity," changes to the body, and more. The adopts will be $10, with add-ons being $3-5 depending on type. I’m working on a test adopt as a request right now, with five other concepts in the works based on old OCs of mine that never got any art.

Finally, I have a Patreon now! It’s mainly just a tip jar for now, but in the future, I’ll be offering a tier where you can get one guaranteed request per month. (Normal approve/disapprove requests will still stick around, though. My policy on alts will also be the same: if I want to draw an alt, you’ll get it at no cost. However, you’ll be able to “bank” a request, which you can use for two alts. More on that once I introduce that tier.)

As I mentioned in this journal, I have some character bios I'll be rewriting. These are for a number of reasons: some inconsistencies and plotholes bug me, some lore's been changed, and some are just too old. So... who's being changed?


Basically any Mentali pre-Fortuna - Man, I wasn't good at hiding that I was the creator of Mentali, was I? And there are some things I really need to change to fit more with Mentali...

Blaire - I've been thinking of turning her into a 'sona, so I want to expand her bio out a bit more and give her more of a backstory. She now has hobbies, and an actual relationship!

Nim - She's my main inflation OC now, I need to add more to flesh her out. (Done! I've rewritten her bio and expanded it a lot, adding a bit more on Estelle and noting that she's married to Nikki.)

Alyssa - I threw the bio together pretty quickly, my main OC deserves more.

Iona - Honestly... I'm not a fan of her gimmick. I have a new gimmick in mind for her... a bigger one.

Will - With Heather being someone else's OC with a different backstory now, I'll be changing Will a lot. He'll probably end up with Libero like Heather did.

Kristen - She's asexual, but sex makes her breasts grow. ...So how is she a hyper underneath her clothes, then? That's something I'll need to work on! (Plus, she has a sister! I gotta add that!)

Rayna - I've been thinking of changing her. I had the idea that she's a helium elemental in the form of a Latios, with a Mentali form she can shift to. She's still trans, since elementals can't change their genders at will, with a couple notable exceptions.

Alabaster - She's my first NSFW OC, I want to do more to make her... special. To set her apart, give her the inflation stuff other OCs of mine have, and more.

Some of you may know my good friend CCMS for the writing commissions I've done for him in the past. I'd like to let you all know that he's decided to take on writing commissions of his own! While he's a bit new to writing for hire, I can say for sure that he's pretty good at writing his own stuff.

CCMS is willing to write inflation and WG stories, as well as stuff that involves... ...well, actual story, though some kinds may be more expensive than others. He also prefers to write using either his own OCs or random characters, since he worries about how he portrays others' characters. His rates are typically $10 per page, and if you're interested, you're free to send him a note on FA, or send him a Discord message (@cate#7907). However, when you do, be sure to add that you want to commission him!

1. The Folders

First off, I've updated all the folders in my gallery. Now there's one for OCs who only made one appearance (alts count), and I'll likely be making a separate folder category for adopts. Plus, all OCs have been put back in the OCs category, and I updated the kink folders with more recent art pieces.

2. Character Bio Templates

So, most of my character bios on this account follow a specific format. Tagline, backstory, personality, powers. However, a few don't follow that format, and some don't have much on them in general. So I'm going to start on a bit of a hard task: reorganizing most, if not all, bios here to fit a template. I'll be adding an info sheet to the top of each one too, to give a basic rundown.

3. Rewrites

Some of my characters are... a bit old. Some follow some retconned lore. And some just don't have a lot to them. I'll be doing some rewrites to characters soon, to hopefully get them up to a quality level on par with the rest!

4. Shared Kink Things

So, most of my OCs have kink stuff to them. It's what you signed up for! However, there are OCs who only focus on one kink or another. As part of the rewrites, I'm going to try to unify all my characters' kink abilities - they'll all be able to focus on a specific subset of kinks, it's just that they'll go about it in different ways. Naturally, I can't share them because anyone can see journals, but keep an eye out for that in the future!

5. Anomaly Earth

Alright, this is where I start to get excited for lore stuff.

So, most of my characters exist on an alternate Earth, which I've taken to calling "Anomaly Earth." While I haven't talked too much about it, I'd like to change that. So unless my upcoming commission involving Blaire comes in first, my next submission will be a rundown of Anomaly Earth and my SFW OCs - why there's so many anthro animals, how magic works, what Mentali are, and more. In the rewrites, I'll also be explaining how some of the characters fit together.

6. NSFW/SFW Characters

Since I'll be exploring Anomaly Earth more on this account, there's naturally going to be overlap between my NSFW and SFW accounts. However, three characters in particular will be pushed right onto the border between SFW and NSFW, being shown on both accounts. These are Lani, Blaire, and Shay. Lani because she's now my new main FF14 character, Blaire because she's in a relationship with one of the Anomaly Earth protagonists and her husband, and Shay because she's being directly taught by my main SFW OC's dad. More may be added later.

Thanks for coming to read through this, all. I know the rewriting process will be hell, but I know I can do it.

Let me preface this journal by stating a fact: "SFW kinks" are a myth. They're nothing but a way for minors to lie about looking at NSFW content, and for groomers to get to minors. Inflation exists in a lot of ordinarily SFW media, but this is a trope, not a kink. You can't build a community based on a trope.

That being said, I want to introduce the star of this journal: a server called The Inflation Vacation. When I originally joined, I was there for the inflation content. But as time went on, I began to notice some things that were off. I got a couple of DMs from users in the server who were underage, who I had to block for that reason. As time went on, I noticed a lot of RP pings there came from minors trying to get people to do NSFW stuff in DMs. They even promoted other inflation servers run by minors! When I brought up my concerns with staff, they shrugged it off - I don't remember what they said exactly, but I remember being frustrated with their response. Eventually, I left, but not before coming back later since apparently Disboard won't let you review servers without being in them for five days. I waited the five days, left my review, and then left the server.

There's one major reason I hate when servers do this. It exposes children to those who want to exploit them, such as groomers. I've mentioned this story multiple times, but I'll tell it again for the new watchers: As a minor, I was targeted by a groomer who claimed to be an admin on the /r/yiff Discord server, though his claims seem a bit suspicious to me nowadays. He often approached me for ERP, knowing full well I was underage, and at one point, he even asked for ass pics. I didn't recognize he was a groomer at the time, and this is how a lot of them operate: they try lulling minors into a false sense of security around them, and then try to go for it once they've built up trust. Servers like this provide a perfect environment for groomers - they provide a steady stream of minors who are looking for kink stuff and are willing to accept strangers' help with it.

Servers like The Inflation Vacation are just one example of what's wrong with the inflation community. Kids shouldn't be allowed to run free in NSFW spaces.

Anyway, sorry for the rant. Had to get this off my chest.

I just want to give a promo to risuchan004 - I've gotten an adopt from them, which will become the new canon design for one of my older OCs as soon as I type up a bio, and a friend of mine commissioned them a while back for this design inspired by Nim.
