One Year Anniversary + Raffle!
Posted 6 years agoHi everyone! Can't believe it's been a year already since I really stepped up and started doing writing, participating in the community, and so forth. One of my very first posts went up on June 9th of last year, and now I have too many to count! Shouting out
guzame here for encouraging me to get my feet wet writing stuff and getting me to stop lurking and start posting. He's a great totodile. :)
As a means to celebrate being on FA and such for a year, I've decided to hold a raffle! The winner gets a free story written by me! The story itself can be about (mostly) anything you want! It doesn't have to be concerning the usual topics I cover in my writing (i.e. vore and such). Whatever you like! It'll be at least 5,000 words long but I'm not going to be too pedantic about the length. After all, this is a prize!
TO ENTER, LEAVE A COMMENT ON THIS JOURNAL ENTRY!
I'll take entrants up until a week as of the time this blog post goes up (June 16th, 2019 at 7:00 A.M. EDT). Then I'll make a follow-up post announcing the winner and will Note them to get their idea!
Thanks to everyone for hanging out with me and supporting me over the year. Here's to many more! And to those interested in throwing your hat into the ring for the raffle, good luck!

Commissions Update!
Posted 6 years agoI can't believe it's been nearly a year since I've started taking commissions. (I further find it hard to believe how many have reached out to me in order to write them stuff -- first and foremost a thanks to all of you!) When my one year anniversary comes up, I plan to do a little something special for everyone. :) But on to the business: I have a decent amount of commission experience under my belt now, and wanted to update everyone on some changes I'm making to my rule set (found on my Commission Info Page).
Note: This is not retroactive! If you have a commission queued with me then it is still happening, so no worries there.
The Changes
* The types of commissions I'll do will boil down to stuff I like to write. Namely: Oral/soft vore; sex (as part of/before/after vore); mostly ferals (pred/prey) with underage (prey) being allowed.
* I will no longer do private commissions -- They can still be Anonymous, but I want to post everything I'm writing going forward
On Tightening the Rules
By and large, I think I'm developing a strong enough base to try and be more selective over the commissions I take on. Over the past year I can count the number of times I've said "no" to a potential commissioner with one hand. Overall, however, I've pretty much accepted any story that's come my way. In retrospect over the past year, I'm finding myself more eager to complete a commission when it's more in line with my personal tastes. Previously, I let most stuff in even if it wasn't something I'd personally set out to read. As long as it had some element related to vore or something I like, I said okay.
But now I want to stick more to where my preferences lie. Writing stuff I enjoy more keeps the commissions flowing more easily. While I've played around with some themes that aren't my thing (willing vore, nonfatal vore, certain anthro characters/designs that aren't my style), I'm going to be a little more forceful with my own preferences for writing.
On Always Posting Commissions
As summarized above, I want to fill out my gallery a bit more. There can be stretches of time where I don't post anything simply because the requested commission was private. Just to be clear: I'm not going to retroactively post commissions I've done that were private. This is only going forward with incoming commission requests I want to be able to post everything that I write.
What have you done?! RIP Commission/Customer Base
If this turns out to be a complete and utter disaster and no-one commissions me, I may consider rolling this back. But I wanted to try this out, to see if I can still maintain a steady commission base while also only writing stuff I truly enjoy writing. We'll see what happens during this summer trial period.
As always, if anyone has questions (if you're considering getting a commission from me) just give me a shout! PM me here or on FA, or message me on Discord or Telegram (both posted in my profile). I'm always happy to chat. :) Stay tuned for the special thing I got planned for my one year anniversary in June!

100 Watchers!
Posted 7 years agoHappy holidays everyone! Randomly checked my page today to find 100 people watching me. Awesome! Thanks for every single one of them. I can hardly believe that that many are watching me post my nonsense writings. I hope I can continue meeting your expectations. Here's to a prosperous 2019!
50,000 Word Writing Challenge COMPLETE!
Posted 7 years ago25 days into November and I can call the writing challenge a success! In order to write 50,000 words in 30 days, you have to write at least 1,667 words per day. So that was the minimum I set. And I didn't skip a single day throughout all of November! Some days I exceeded, to the point where I finished five days early.
You can view the results of my tracker here. I whipped up a spreadsheet to track my progress and categorize what I was writing in.
I'll start with the bad and end with the good. The bad is that I was hoping this would get me to contribute to some of the larger writing projects I have going (the "PMD" and "AAA" columns). Sadly, that did not occur. The good, however, is that I did write a lot (not all of which can be posted, due some commissions being private, or not being suited for this site -- if you search for Lutro elsewhere you may find them as I start posting things). It also showed that I can indeed write as much as I thought I could. Admittedly a lot of the works were one-shot short stories. So next year when I do this, I'm going to limit myself to only contributing to the word total in longer stories or commissions.
Was a good time!

50,000 Word Writing Challenge, and Potential for Stream
Posted 7 years agoHey everyone. Been a while since my previous (and first!) entry. I wasn't sure how often I'd be making posts. I guess we know the answer is "not very often." Anyway, here are some updates.
I've been carrying along well enough in my short time here. Gotten a couple commissions. Written a few, myself. Have a pretty good system in place. I have a somewhat-lengthier writing project in the works currently (longer than the one-shot stories and such I've posted so far). It's pokémon based, and hopefully will be an entertaining read. It is vore-themed, but it won't be the focus all the time.
I think I'm all caught up on roleplay logs. You probably won't see many more of those. The ones I've posted thus far are all from years' worth of roleplaying (having to track down some folks for permission to post). No more freebie posts for me!
Now on to the subjects in the title. This month is National Novel Writing Month, which others may have heard of before. I am taking this challenge to heart! While I am not writing a single story of 50,000 words, I am taking that word count and making that my November goal: Write 50,000 words in stories through November. So far so good! I'm well on pace. We'll see what happens when we get into the first full week, but I'm confident I can make it through.
Another idea I've been kicking around for a while now is whether or not to stream myself writing any. I have everything set up on the technical side, but have yet to pull the trigger. I've no idea how much interest there is in watching someone write on a stream, but I guess the best way to find out is to just do it. Worst case is that nobody tunes in! As far as what'll be on the stream: Non-private commissions and any other stories I may be working on. If I get really brave I may even host a "commission sketch" stream. Only instead of sketches, of course, it'd be short one-off stories (1,000 words or so). That's all in the future though. Suppose I just need to get up and streaming.
That's about it. Been enjoying my time getting to know more people and generally hanging out.

A Warm Welcome
Posted 7 years agoGreetings everyone. I've been a lurker for quite a few years around FA (and Aryion as well). Recently I've decided to make my mark, as it were, in the community. I've created an account and, in addition to showing support to people that make great stuff (whether it be through art, writing, roleplay, animation, or other mediums), will be posting some of my own stuff as well!
I've already begun converting and posting some roleplay logs I've participated in over the past couple years (with permission from the other people involved of course). On top of that, however, I've begun doing some writing commissions.
guzame encouraged me to start this prospect up, giving me a few ideas to work with, and it was something I honestly never thought I'd be able to do! And yet, today I posted up one of my first completed commissions, Prices to Pay. And after some fiddling about with settings and stuff, I posted a rudimentary Commission Info slot up as well. Starting simple enough (I hope) to get off the ground in this department.
Another goal I've had for some time was one where I could afford to get artwork commissioned. I have primitive art skills at best, and the sort of ideas that I have in my head far outstrip my skills with the pen/tablet. Trading writing for artwork (by earning funds via writing to spend on commissions, or doing straight-up trades) was another thing I'd never thought I could have happen, but here we are. I'm rather excited to get some of the ideas I have commissioned up.
I've received quite the nice welcome from several folks already around here, and it's been rather encouraging so far. Happy times.
