So my dog has cancer. He'll be 11 if he makes it to June. I havent lived with him for a few years because my mom can better afford the care he needs. He had knee surgery last year...I feel like he just got his life back. He was just starting to act like a young dog again. Just starting to enjoy his life more. So all of my motivation has crashed into oblivion just when I was starting to feel okay about life too. This dog saved my life and kept me going when nothing else could. I feel like I cant give him anything in return and it's breaking my heart. I cant even be there for what may be his last year of life. They told me it's operable and he may have another year or two depending on what they find. So more surgery and vet time for him in the beginning of feb. I also just feel terrible for my mom. She just lost her mom and now this. Im tired and I dont know what to do anymore. Everyone says to be hopeful and to just keep positive, hope for the best. But right now I am honestly pretty depressed. I wanted to vent a little here since I feel like Ive talked to my supportive people as much as I want to talk about it already. I dont want to give anyone else any more stress in an already difficult couple of years. Im glad he's still alive and my mom says his appetite is good and that the only symptom he has is having to pee a lot (bladder tumor). So..I know it could be worse. Just ready for some good news. For something to go right maybe? Hope you're all doing okay out there.

Anybody else lose somone recently..?

My Gran just passed a few days ago and Im having trouble processing it...knowing I cant afford to go visit mom (or risk bringing her covid by traveling) to comfort her, knowing there wont be a memorial service because of covid...everything just feels surreal and Im honestly not sure how to think about it.

Taking time off work is out of the question. I cant afford to miss any days if I want to keep paying rent. I dont get paid time off and am only just making it as it is. Im exhausted.

That being said, anyone have any advice? If you lost someone during this past year, how did you deal with it/how are you dealing with it? Did you find any small ways to give yourself closure if you couldnt visit the person before they died?

It's come to my attention recently, that many people are uncomfortable with depictions of irl feral species in NSFW situations.

I will not be taking any more comissions of that subject matter or drawing it any longer. Ive gone through my gallery/scraps and deleted anything I believe could be offensive.

The exceptions to this rule are: obviously not real species, aka mythical beasts, for example: Kelpies, unicorns, dragons, gryphons and Taurs.

Unnacceptable species under this rule are any natural exsisting species with natural coloration and anatomy. I do not want to be associated with this. I dont want to cater to or encourage sexualization of species that cannot consent the way a human does.

None of my art was ever intended to be realistic in that way. Anything depicted was fantasy, and the characters were sentient, verbally humanly consenting adults. That being said, I absolutely understand the arguements presented by the uncomfortable parties and have decided this is not the hill I want to die on.

Is it a form of censorship? Technically yes, but I dont think it's in any way unreasonable to my personal standards because I am not attracted to irl animals sexually and have no reason to advocate for that type of artwork going forward. There is no excuse in my opinion for allowing this kind of comission or personal artwork in my gallery anymore.

Will I block you for drawing feral porn? No, not unless I believe it is indicitive of something less savory in content, or sexual tastes. I am much more likely to be accepting of feral x feral artwork (what happens in the natural world all the time) than any human, anthro or humaniod x feral artwork.


That's about it. If you take issue with what I do with my gallery, feel free to block me or leave my watchlist. I dont have time for bullshit. If you find something you think is questionable in my gallery, ask me about it and I will tell you my reasoning for keeping it, review it for removal, remove it and apologize for missing it ect.

Even though I believe some good artwork makes people uncomfortable, this is not the type of discomfort or questionable morality I want to encourage. Zoophilia is not an acceptable sexual interest in my mind. If I discomfort your views on world issues then that is fine but Im not using my art or my time to advocate for things I dont believe are okay. That's it.

Well, I wasnt expecting this, but my roommate's partner is moving in, so she's giving me a month to find a new place. I'm looking as hard as I can, nothing yet has worked. But Im not giving up. Well, Im sure everyone's tired of hearing about it but Im out of work due to COVID. Ive applied for unemployment but it wont be much. Since I was sick for a week last month, I already was low on funds. Im currently still expected to pay the full amount of rent as our landlord cant afford to give us a break. I dont have enough for rent and my unemployment benefits wont start until next month because of the week waiting period.

Okay, so being a person with certain fears I sometimes wonder what is normal for a person to experience in terms of phobia. For example, I have a fear of heights that has steadily gotten worse as I get older. It's gotten to the point in the last few years that even a movie of someone standing up high somewhere makes my stomach turn and my feet tingle in an almost pins and needles sort of way. Where I used to only experience that if I looked down a flight of stairs or a hill ect. I realize that there are much worse phobias but I am generally able to avoid it and therefore unbothered in most of my normal life....unless Im required to climb a ladder. :/ or a few years back I tried to go skiing with my mate at the time and had an extreme breakdown/blackout? I dont actually remember most of it. What I do remember wasnt great.


So here's the question. If you experience a phobia, what kind of reaction do you have when you're presented with your fear? Is it a visceral unstoppable physical reaction? Pure panic in your mind? What is your experience like?

Hi guys. Well, I got delivered a pink slip by the city today.

I guess my roommate hasnt been paying the water bill for a while

and instead of telling me this is the way I found out. My water will be shut off tomorrow @ 8am if we dont make a payment. She's @ work today & hasnt been replying to my texts so I dont know if she has the money to pay it or not. I pay $50 on top of my rent for utilities...so I dont know what that has been going to, not a pleasant surprise on a day off.

Anyway, please take a look, I want to make a little bit hopefully to at least keep our water from being shut off so we dont have to pay the extra fee to get it turned back on as well as whatever mystery overdue looming amount we owe. Thank you, hopefully this will be sorted out soon.
