So it turns out this day was pretty good. My new icon came from Windwo1f that I was very happy & excited to get!! Even though i had a total meltdown today & lost my day off, they worked out another day of the week I will get off. my mate was extremely patient & supportive. He brought me my work key which I forgot in my panic today, he waited for me to get off work to take me home AND he is currently making dinner for me & got a few small treats for us to share. I take it back, I might bitch a lot, but I have nothing to be upset or unhappy over. I am the luckiest girl! Thank you guys for your continued support & for always taking an interest in my silly little life. Hope you all are well & I wish you a good October evening.~

I need to vent about work a little. You can skip this if you want. I mostly work on commissions on my days off. Im finding it really hard to work on anything mecause they keep calling me in on my days off every week & substituting days off in the middle of the week. It's frustrating not relaxing & keeps throwing me out of my rythmn. Worst part about being management is being called in because other people are "sick" even though you worked a six day week last week when you could barely speak. I lost my voice, whispered for a few days & felt like crap all last week & I STILL covered a shift I said I'd cover twk weeks ago because they couldnt get anyone else. Now Im being called in today again on my day off to cover someone elses ass who is "sick". Sorry, but most of these people call in so often or come in late & dont get punished that im livid about it. If I pulled the shit they pull I'd be out on my ass so fast....I hate it. I am keeping my job. Im not looking for another as it too almost three years to get over ten dollars an hour (after scraping by on less than $8 hr for those three years prior) & I dont have the degree or fancy resume to compete. Damn it all. I just want to be invisible on my days off. I may start turning off my phone because it's making me way more stressed than I need to be. Im not even completely over being sick & I am still the one going in today to cover a shift I havent been trained to do. Fucking dumb!! Ahhhhhhhh!!! >:c

Had an idea for a character which I have quickly cplored on a free template I found so I wouldnt forget it. Now though, I cant decide which species I want it to be?? I am stuck between fluffy dragon (I have a few characters that are dragons) or gryphon ( I have only one other gryphon-esquecharacter). The pattern is sort of like a calico or tortishell cat black/orange/white. Opinons??

Looong update, I'm sick again. Just a regular head cold caught from my mate, but I am so very tired of being sick. Dayquill is the only thing keeping me semi-functional (still gotta go to work) & nyquill is making sure I sleep through the head congestion.
Anyway, my mom came to visit us here in Missoula for the first time since I moved over here! So that was pretty exciting to show her around! I think Roak enjoyed it too as he got to be her tour guide, which he's honestly pretty good@! Now every time she talks to me it's about moving over here. Soooo, I think she liked it! xD
I am still working on owed art as I have two ref sheets & Tala's chibi designs to finish! Other than that, pretty much caught up. I may however be diving into a much larger project with a good friend who wants me to help them with fursuit deign templates. I am currently a bit skeptical on how well I can actually perform this as my only tablet available is my nvidia shield (my large wacom bit the dust some months ago after 5+ years of loyal service). I would really like a new larger tablet, but I just don't know if I can justify I right now. Winter is being slow this year, but we'll still need boots for me (since my car is broken again & I will probably be walking to work all winter like last year) & my mates car needs tires. Actually I think he's overdue for some shoes too. I could also really use some new glasses/contactlenses as my current ones aren't full strength for me anymore so when I do drive, I can't see the speed limit signs :P.
I have been overspending on art & characters these past few months. I spent so many years with little to no extra money that it's hard for me to tell myself I can't have something now that I have the money for it. Soooo, this month will most likely be the last until after the first of the year that I buy much of anything art or character wise. It's still not really in our budget & I have plenty to play with already.

How's your October? Any fun Halloween displays or haunts in your area? I still wanna hit up Scarywood again some year! So much fun! Any plans for Halloween??

Soooo, as you've probably guessed Fall & Halloween are my faavorite things! Something I'm considering offering in my new style (traditionally inked/digital color)Icons!
