Art Journal: June 2025

Sorry it has been some time since I posted a journal, but real life butting in and making things difficult. This journal I will be explaining quite a few things for you all to hear what is going on. As of right now, I am returning to art and working on 3D Model stuff once again. However, there is a slight change of plans on that, but will explain further down. Below is a summarize outline of what happened to me from last journal and this month plans.
Outline:
1. Currently my job is going away (layoff), so I am going to be searching for a job.
2. Medical and busy time from this journal and last.
3. Starting up 3D Modeling again, but doing a re-evaluation on start.
Details:
1. As mentioned, my company is disappearing or going on temporary pause with zero info on when it will return. June 30th, 2025 is the last day of my job that I am currently in. Sad since I did enjoy this job greatly, but such as life. Mid-June I will be searching for a job, so might have a bit free time to add more to my art, but not the main focus of this timing. Before you start worrying though, no need. I am fine and have plenty of background stuff for another opportunity.
2. Family medical emergencies and other things of life since last journal spiraled out of control, but was easily dealt with immediately. Still happened and had my brain fuzzy and conflicted to try anything with art. But now slowing down and easing up, minus the new predicament mentioned in information #1.
3. Today is the first day I start up on 3D modeling again, but the new approach is to follow my Main Sona's Monthly forms. So starting off the process is all sort of Hoofstock/Hooved creatures. I have a full roster and list to work with. I will share some details near the end of this month. So be prepared to see some head shots of template models of deer, horses, cows, and more. Additionally be prepared for some lovely art I have acquired over the time from friends and self-commissions.

Nov, Dec, and Jan Journal Update

Sorry for the deep silence since November, but had a rough patch of life during that time, mood and artist block heavy on my mind. Did some deep thoughts and more, but thinking art is going onto a long pause for me to recollect myself. So below I am going to go over what happen in the months of November and December and then go over what January is going to entail.
November:
- Real life being a difficult when I was doing art, so it was destroying my mood to do any art as of late. Might be the winter blues that caused me a severe artist block. This lasted for till December, which made it difficult to get back into drawing like I use to.
December:
- Took a break from art to try and recollect myself and considered to retry my swing back into 3D Modeling like I tried about a year ago or two years. Already made some progress with that and much better than drawing as of late. So with that, I decided to go that route again. Started personal projects with some friends involved to have fun with the process.
- With the holidays and birthday, this is the time for me to say Happy Holidays everyone, hope you have a grand one.
January:
- With end of December and coming into the New Years, I plan to work on Dragon 3D Models for this time. Although I plan to just doing Head Pieces for now. I will show them off, when I am able. Hope you get to enjoy the progress I do with them.

Art Journal: October 2024
Posted 11 months agoSo it is near the start of this month of spooks and ghouls, hope everyone is ready for the season of monsters, dark magic and more. As I mentioned before, I am going to post these near the beginning of the month to layout what is happening for the month.
1. First off; Artist Block Rut:
Last week of September and this week going into October. Hit a wall of Artist Block Rut thanks to real life slapping me and my household in the face. Nothing to serious, just something that hit the mind of worry for finances and living style. We are slowly working it out and getting it back on track. Should be able to get myself back into the groove in next week. I will not let this set back stop me with my goals.
2. Second; Aeromorph Hangar and Sea Encounter Project updates:
As you all may have notice I have been drawing some lovely Aeromorphs and Aquatic cuties in Your Character Here images. This is part of my major project and did some changes to them. Originally it was once you apply to one of those YCH's, you couldn't apply again since you'd be already in the final art piece. However, after some recollection of my mind, I am allowing others to apply multiple times, but each image has to be a different character.
Originally was planning to have the Aeromorph Hangar Aftermath completed on the 29th of September, but that fell through due to RL stuff. The schedule below is the new one and will the progress for October.

Posted 11 months agoI meant to post this near the beginning of the month, but life kept me busy from doing this. This will happen ever month near the beginning of the month to let everyone know what is going on with my art, life and other things that might interest others.

However, after some recollection of my mind, I am allowing others to apply multiple times, but each image has to be a different character.
Other news, we are coming to an end for the Aeromorph Hangar project as the last Aero was offered as of today September 16, 2024. Next week, I will be working on the Aftermath image for the Aeromorphs before putting a close on that project and focus on the Sea Encounter image.

4. Last thing;
Hope everyone here is doing great, I know life is a pain in the rear. But we can make it through this despite how rough it is. Understand I am here for you all, as an Artist and Friend if need be.

Posted a year agoI am starting a journal log of things I have in mind and things that are going on. So for today, here is a list for any that is interested in reading.
1. So as you may have seen with the new art projects (Sea Encounter and Aeromorph Hangar); I am working with a completely different art system and learning the ends and outs of it. Trying to better myself in the system. These projects will go all the way to the end of the year and slight into January, but there will be more even in the new year.
2. You'll probably see more journals from me each week showing off a poll or two for my project. These polls is more of seeing what others would like to see the character that is up for next week. With that said, I am a bit behind on that due to real life being a pain and staying on top of me. For now, I would like to see what scene idea you like to see Aksinya (Su-34 Aeromorph) in?

In Other News
Posted a year agoFirst off, I am going to say Rest in Peace Dragoneer, sad to see you gone and you will be deeply missed. Although I didn't know you personally and only have a few conversations in the past with you. I want to let everyone know that you were awesome and a great influence on me when I joined FA. Thank you for all you have done.
Now about the Future of FA, honestly it is pointless going into the "End of FA" immediately from hearing this news. As far as I am aware there is a team still working here and will help maintain it. Although I will understand and agree the future of FA is uncertain as things are unfolding, but I am sure in my opinion that the site will thrive and/or persist. However, immediately going into the DOOM SAYING is not helping at all. Being prepared for the worst case is ideal, but honestly I feel you should just enjoy the present of the site is still here and use it like the blessing it is.
I do apologize if my blunt words might offend, but this is how I am seeing all this negative thoughts as. Realistically it is uncertain, the ball of life for FA is still in the middle of the balancing weights. Again, we should just enjoy the blessing of FA we have now and honor Dragoneer by showing support and enjoyment to the site they created.

Apologies for being Quiet
Posted a year agoI Apologize for my silence, but was dealing with sickness recently and work all in one go for the last 2 to 3 months. And I decided to post a few old pieces of art I acquired, either drawn by me or by some good artist. Tomorrow though will be some fun posting as I have many backlogged art on my side. Happy New Year
Posted a year agoGood Morning everyone!
Sorry for not keeping in touch with everyone. I have been on a roller-coaster of life through work, health and art in many degrees. Last journal was about starting my revamp of my characters, which is running smoothly and got some of them done, which you can see all that I completed on Trello. Although you are probably wondering why I haven't posted them here yet. Busy is that answer, but rest assure, I will be posting a flood of art here soon.
Since the new year started for 2024, I want to say Happy New Year even though a little late from me, but at least it is said.
Below is a list of projects and goals I am going to be doing here or in art in general along with time lines or when they are going to start.
1. Starting up my Comic project that may or may not be posted online.
2. Finish up, Personal art of my Daikain Characters (Monthly Shapeshifters).
3. Commission Prices posted in January.
4. Commissions open in February, April, July & August (Big List), October, and December.
5. In May starting up a Double Project: Aeromorph Hangar (Be with my Aeromorph Crew) and Sea Encounter (Be with my aquatic characters).
6. September will be opening for Request for Friends and Family
7. Around September will be some waves of personal art of characters that need revamps or loves. Although might offer you all a chance to be with those characters.
That is my plans for the year of 2024. Additionally I will be working with my friend
fsmaverick on some lovely adopts like I have done in the past. But this will be a slow process, so be patient if eager for those.
That is my plans for this year and I am hoping to stick with it all the way. We'll just see what life throws at me.
