Trying to Boost this
Posted 6 years agoMan. It's been years since I've made anything worth noting on here. And now here I am, hat in hand, hoping for help.
Let me back up.
My husbands and I have been struggling for the last two years to maintain a house we did not own, and we were, barely, scraping by. During that time, we had two serious (totalled) car crashes, a burst water pipe in the wall, and an exhausting amount of minor bills that weren't being paid by the homeowner.
This past December, the homeowner, an elderly man and my best friends father, went into permanant nursing housing. Since then, it has been a ticking clock til we had to move out. That move came about this week. And while things were close, I was sure that we'd be alright.
And then the starter on our car went.
We've been struggling, scraping, and scrounging. And we've been making it. However slowly.
We need help. I made a gofundme that I was sharing among friends, in an effort to get enough together to just get our apartment, and now we've suffered another setback.
If you can help in anyway, even by signal boosting this on here, social media, whatever, we'd appreciate it.

Commissions: Help if you can!

I'm in a very tight spot right now and I am in need of some help. I was let go from last job because of some health concerns that came about because of my time there, and my current job is a one day a week seasonal position.
In short: I have no money left to pay my bills.
So, I'm taking commissions.
I'm a writer, and writing is the only thing I can do with all this down time (besides pounding the pavement for another job, as I have been doing), so I'm throwing my hat into the proverbial ring.
I'm looking right now at about 4-5 page stories for around fifteen dollars. Examples of my work are on my page.
Please help if you can. Right now, I would need at least ten commissions at that price to break even for the month.

Do you like RPG's? Do you like moral choice theater?
Do you like mind blowing psychological/Fridge horror?
This is worth a look. The music and visuals are charmingly from an older time of gaming, the games writing is tight.
It's not long, but it's just long enough to be interesting. And best of all, it plays with the player themselves head, like a scene out of a horror story.
Seriously. I can't do the game justice. Just give it a look, and a quick listen to the music.
