Well then, where has an entire year gone? D:
Posted 4 years agoYep, actually haven't logged onto here for well over a year now... and we ALL know too well how 2020 turned out... D:
2021 is... "promising" so far but eh, still a massive dumpster fire tbh, all things considered.
Reading back on my last journal entry, seems barring FurDU 2019, did end up going to all the cons said I would on there... which were (in chronological order): FWA, BLFC, EF, Infurnity and MFF... thus the last con I went to was MFF 2019, boy how fast time flies eh...
Might slowly upload backlog of photos to here... or not... XD

Hewwo 2019! It's that annual update time for a kitty!
Posted 6 years ago... and being the lazy Snowkitty that I am... almost a month into 2019 already! D:
Right, so for that "once-a-year" update as to what I got planned so far, in terms of conventions/events that I'd be hitting up...
These are the ones that's a "very much definite":
- Furry Weekend Atlanta (FWA; Atlanta, GA, USA): Gonna be my first time there! Will be fun to check out that (in)famous hotel! :D
- Biggest Little FurCon (BLFC; Reno, NV, USA): Because it's back-to-back weekends with FWA (above), and coz of... sushi reasons!
- EuroFurence (EF; Berlin, Germany): Somehow, managed to get room-space at the Estrel (oh all that LADEN... so, so much LADEN...), and because it's a chance for me to catch all them European cute sexy suiters!
- Midwest FurFest (MFF; Chicago, IL, USA): Because it's MFF. Official hotel hasn't even opened for booking yet but, got "Plan B" hotel booked/sorted (smart kitty!).
These ones are "planned/time set aside already":
- Infurnity (Tamsui, Taipei, Taiwan): Just a long weekend getaway for me, got "Plan B" hotel booked already, as it's in October, still some time for me to think about how to approach this
And this is still a "maybe" for me:
- Furry Down Under (FurDU; Gold Coast, Australia): can be done as it's over a long weekend for me, just a "short, 3-hr" hop across the Tasman... yet still very much on-the-fence a maybe...
And once again as usual, feel free to Hit-Me-Up if you wanna hook up/hang/"do more" at the events I'll also be at this year!

Oops, how is it already March in 2018?!? Annual update time!
Posted 7 years agoYeah, I mean, how is it that it's March already?
So in a quick, brief update of what events this Snow Spottykitty has planned for (the rest of) this year...
As far as furry events/conventions go:
- BLFC (Reno, USA)
- EuroFurence (Berlin, Germany)
- MwFF (Chicago, USA)
Have actually got time off all approved already from work even!
Yes, will be giving EF a go after a 2 year absence... mostly to hang out/see/have "fun" with friends and people, still don't agree with the... "direction" of the actual con/event itself.
However, I'm MUCH more excited about GearBlast US, which will be the weekend prior to BLFC.
A whole weekend of filthy sexy gear fun? Yay!
As usual, feel free to Hit-Me-Up if you wanna hook up/hang/"do more" at the events I'll also be at this year!

A tale of 2 different Pride/Mardi Gras Parades...
Posted 8 years agoEarlier this year, I mentioned about attending/getting to some... different/other types of events that's not a furry convention or meet-up. The opportunities arose and before I knew it, ended up participating in 2 similar yet different events, the New Zealand Pride Parade in Auckland, and the Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade in Sydney.
In fact, most would be surprised to know that I have not been to any sort of LGBT(Q) pride parades in the past, either actively participating or spectating.
Auckland Pride Parade (25th February, 2017)
Thanks to the inquisitiveness of
TheShadowCheetah, somehow managed to get us marching in on the official title-bearing float near the front as a pair of carnival ponies. The route was an easy, flat 2km trot down the suburb of Ponsonby in Auckland, and in the end I'd estimate at most a turnout of ~10,000 people.
Definitely a laid back, easy-going and ultra friendly affair, and awesome costumes/get-up throughout. The crowds were very well behaved, maybe a tad subdued, and that's apparently a very "Kiwi" thing.

Would I go again, oh yes, perhaps roping in some more ponies or rubber critters to go along!
Sydney Mardi Gras Parade (4th March, 2017)
Having knocked out the first parade just the week prior, I thought this would be similar...
... and boy was I wrong.
Was it fabulous? Oh yes definitely
Was it a friendly, all-inclusive atmosphere? You betcha
However that's where the similarity ends.
I was told that the parade participants alone number well in the 10,000s, with ~200 groups/floats participating, as for the crowd... well, easily 20x (or even 30x) that of Auckland the previous week... in the region of 200,000 - 300,000.
Oh boy.
Seeing as my planning skills can sometimes be... "let's wing it", at around the 2 weeks mark was trying to scope out a group to join onto, initially aiming for any rubber/latex/kink and the pup-play groups... and failed.
Managed to get in touch with the OzFurs group who runs a float for the past many years, and secured myself a spot on their float.
It was interesting bumping into some people I know, and of course none of them expected to see me there. After mingling with the people at the prep-area (and getting many compliments on my Rubber Snow Spottykitty outfit ^_^ ), elected to walk on the ground instead of riding on the float. Afterall, shaking your latex-wrapped butt and getting up close to the crowd seemed way more fun.
Utter euphoria is how I'd describe the crowd. They waved, they cheered, and most of them screamed their lungs out... I have seen images like these on TV, but never up close and personal. It's a stark contrast to the parade the week prior.
Of course, during the walk (or more fittingly butt-wiggling, twerking, bouncing up and down to the music) the Rubber Snowkitty got close to the fence and started high-fiving those who stuck their arms out... most of them are well behaved enough... but a fair few people would try to grab my hand and actually started PULLING ME INTO THE FENCE/CROWD (none succeeded thank goodness). That, was actually scary. During certain points along the route where it's narrow, and I had to walk maybe half-an-arm lengths from the barriers, felt a few touching and grabbing at my shoulders, upper arms...
Utter, crazy, Aussies.
Even though the route was just over 1km long (half the length of Auckland parade), it took twice as long.
It was fun, and despite the craziness mentioned above, would definitely go back to do it again.
"Highlight" (or another crazy) moment of the day:
During the pre-parade prep and while mingling in the greenzone, many other parade goers came up to take photos/selfies with the Rubber Snowkitty. Many also felt/touched/groped me saying "omg you're in rubber... you must be so hot", with a pair of glitter & paint covered boys outright squeezing my nipples through the latex asking "can you feel that", getting them hard then saying "omg you can, you're getting hard" >.> <.<

Of the annual journal update for 2017! Year of the... Cock!
Posted 8 years agoWell... the much better accepted translation would be "Year of the Rooster" (for those keeping track of Chinese New Year calendar)
So, January came and nearly gone, and 2017 is well and truly underway... perhaps a quick Journal update is in order.
Started off this year with a Christmas (2016)/New Years (2017) holiday to Asia, more specifically Hong Kong, Taipei and Japan, and managed to squeeze in a furry convention in the process.
"How is JMoF (Japan Meeting of Furries)?" my friends/followers/stalkers might ask...
I'll keep this one relatively brief.
Didn't enjoy it, to be brutally blunt. No disrespect to the organizers nor the event itself, despite the "outward social media (i.e. Twitter) appearances"
I guess many little issues all piled up together, made it the trip the way it was.
Learned a few things though:
- Stick to my guns and my instincts much, much better
- Some people are just so, rude that their "reputation" from others I heard (which I was holding out on believing outright), did precede them
- And other deep internalized realizations (or self discovery)...
The language and cultural differences didn't really affected the outcome for me (visited Japan before 2 years ago about the same time)... and definitely want to revisit again... but would be under much different set of circumstance.
Doubtful I want to go for JMoF again however... just isn't worth going for it specifically... but I digress...
Moving on, so, what trips have I got planned for this year?
- FurDU (Gold Coast, Australia)
- ConFuzzled (Birmingham, England)
- BLFC (Reno, USA)
Would be trips that flights are already booked/paid for, and accommodation "mostly" sorted.
Beyond that, will also be hitting some non-furry events.
Lastly, please... PLEASE if you really want to hang out/say hi/etc. etc. at any of the events I'm planning to be at, just approach.
Stop being "shy".
Stop using that as an excuse.
I guess life it too short to ponder the "what if's" and "what might have been". :|
That's it for now...
(Twitter is the best way to grab my attention these days, that or Telegram)

MFF 2016! Will this kitty be seeing you there? :D
Posted 9 years ago2016 is soooo quickly drawing to a close... and since my last journal update [ http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7367912/ ], this shiny kitty has been to 3 cons already: Texas Furry Fiesta, ConFuzzled and CaliFur...
Well, let's end the year with... Midwest FurFest (MFF) 2016!
Where: Staying at the Main Hotel (Hyatt Regency O'Hare)
When: From Wednesday 30/11 ~9pm onwards, until Monday 5/12 ~11am check-out
In short, DO NOT BE SHY about coming up to me and say hi (in or out of suit), and if you want to catch up... PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
Best way to keep in contact?
Twitter: SnowSpottycats [ https://twitter.com/SnowSpottycats ]
I also have Telegram however, unless we already have each other's contact details, best to first poke me on Twitter first with a DM (Direct Message)

Much belated welcome into 2016! Kitty's travel plans update!
Posted 9 years agoOops, it's already been a month into 2016! Guess this kitty's been rather busy since the last update, which was well over half a year ago...
I mostly update/post to Twitter these days, so best to... "stalk" me there for those wishing to do so! XD
Otherwise, here are a list of planned travels for the rest of this year:
1) Texas Furry Fiesta (TFF) & US trip - 2nd week(end) of March
Finally revisiting TFF since attending the first one back in '09. The move into the March timeframe really helped with making this trip happen, that and promised a friend I'd go (and room with) last year.
Will also be in San Francisco Bay Area few days before, spending some time in Austin/TX the days after and in Los Angeles the day before my flight back home.
If you want to meet-up/catch-up/say hi/etc.., just do so! I found that trying to schedule a meet up before, more often than not resulting it in "oops didn't happen". Therefore, grab my attention!
2) ConFuzzled (Birmingham, UK) - last weekend of May
It was so much fun last year, decided to give it a 2nd go... that and promised a friend I'd room with. So it's happening!
Just got to sort my flights at this stage, I may stay around the UK for a few days after, and possibly do another event on the way back home (see below)
Tentative Plans (or, convince me that I should go to the following)
3) Califur (CA, USA) - first weekend of June
Seeing as my flight to/from the UK would normally have me stop over on the West Coast (LAX), can totally squeeze Califur into my schedule at this point as it wouldn't cost me "any extra" to get there.
Should I go?
Anyone I know that's into the same sort of interests as me and want to split a room (as I see the main hotel's now sold out)?
Will probably make a call on this in a month's time or so.
Convince me to go perhaps? ;)
4) MwFF - first week(end) of December
It's Midwest ('fricken) FurFest. 'nuff said.
However, it highly depends on my RL/job situation by that point, and whether or not I should sink money for it.
Should I?
Does anyone really want me to?
Again, convince me to go? ;)
I will also actually be doing a big HK (Asia) and Europe (Switzerland/Hungary) trip right after my TFF/US trip that will span mid to end of March, which is more a "non-furry-weird-crap" trip. In fact at this stage, will barely spend any time at home (NZ) for that month...
That's the yearly update (2016 edition) for now. Feel free to comment/private message/DM if you happen to also be at the above events/places, and/or trying to convince me to attend the aforementioned events!

Time for mid-2015/FurDU/CFz recap & upcoming EF trip update
Posted 10 years agoTime flies really fast, so let's get on with it shall we?
First con of this year for me was FurDU, which I consider a "local" con/event for me being just under 3-hour flight hop to the GC (Gold Coast). Always awesome to hang out with Tzup & co. along with a few other Aussies.
Snapshots from FurDU:

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16489344/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16515605/
It was also the cheapest con/event I've done for a while, helped by the fact that during that time, NZ$ was almost at parity with the AU$.
Closely following FurDU was ConFuzzled, and it seemed like a long time ago now. So glad I decided to just go for it last year. It's the best convention I ever had in recent con/event/holiday-going history, which surprised even myself.
It's just a combination of new con/venue (first time there), the people and the things I got to do that made it really stand out, and the fact I deliberately set no expectations and/or schedule probably helped too.

Tons of time spent being wrapped in tight squeaky latex, which is always a plus!
Also discovered the magic of letting someone else run around in my characters/suits and watching them interact with others... and why I haven't done this before! Thanks to
FelixKatz for pretending to be Kamadan, and Rob (Cheetah from Seattle) for being Silver Tiggy ;)
Have tentatively planned to go back again next year, and hopefully get to catch up with those that I missed this
time round.
Which leads me to the next and last scheduled con/event for me this year: EuroFurence.
Was going to skip that, especially since I already flew half-way round the world to UK/CFz just 2 months prior, but an ultra cheap airfare sale from AirNZ made the decision easier for me.
Right now, I'll land at LAX on Friday (14th August) & spend a few days around Los Angeles hanging out with Mike (a.k.a. coyotoy), before jetting off to Berlin and EF on Tuesday (18th August). Will be at EF from Wednesday (19th) till check-out and heading back home on Monday (24th).
Those that are interested in how much flying I'll be doing...
https://twitter.com/SnowSpottycats/.....74562006224898
... have the flight paths and total distance.
As I said before, those that missed me at EF last year, here's the chance to grab my attention this time round! ;)
This kitty's always on Twitter & Telegram if you want to get a hold of me (@SnowSpottycats for both).

Thanks to

It's Year of the... Sheep? Ram? Goat? First update for '15!
Posted 10 years agoSeems like my Zebra pony didn't spend enough time out and about during Year of the Horse last year (2014), to really "cash in" on the theme... got him just a tad late...
Oh well, there's always the next one in 12 year's time!
For now, Happy Chinese New Years! The year of the... sheep? ram? goat? Depends on who you ask, but as I don't have any of the aforementioned-themed character, a horny little gazelle will have to do:

https://twitter.com/SnowSpottycats/.....12260344045568
What will 2015 bring in terms of travelling for this kitty/pony/gazelle?
Planning/plotting actually began towards the end of last year, to take advantage of all the early-bird specials and sale. With my leave request put though, approved and confirmed this week, means....
1) FurDU (Gold Coast, Australia) - First weekend of May
Flights, accommodation/hotel and con registration all fully paid for. Have been attending this for the past 2 years, and looks to become one of my regular event.
Right now don't have a roommate yet, and are open to having one. Definitely keen to catch up with old pals and meet new ones I've been chatting online with since.
2) ConFuzzled (Birmingham, UK) - 4th (or 2nd to last) weekend of May
During EuroFurence last year, a lot of people said I should make it to CFz. At that point in time it was merely a "would be nice one day" thought, well, guess this year is as good a time as any!
Flights, accommodation/hotel and con registration all fully paid for, so barring any really-unforeseen-circumstances, will be in the UK for week and a half. Already got nabbed by a fellow Sneppid as roommate, but definitely say hi, snuggle, and let me know/drag me away to all the fun parties!
3) EuroFurence (Berlin, Germany) - 4th (or 2nd to last) weekend of August
Half the flight segments (AKL-LAX return, e.g. half way) and con registration paid for, hotel room/roommate sorted (with a backup plan in place), so I'd say ~60% there. Worst case scenario, this will turn into an impromptu US trip instead if I couldn't get a reasonably priced flight from LAX (States) over to Berlin (Germany).
Actually didn't think I'd be making a revisit so soon, guess I have some unfinished business there at EF.
This time round, those found out too late that I was going last year... well here's your chance again to meet up and have some fun! Definitely don't be shy and grab my attention! ;)
That's all the planned trips for now, with the option of making another visit closer to year's end. MwFF is a remote possibility depending on how my current work and finances go in a few months time.
Speaking of travelling, have also been playing around with a site called OpenFlights.org, rather interesting breakdown of all the flight's I've taken since keeping records ~10 years ago:
http://openflights.org/user/Kamadan
That's it for now! If you happen to be also going to the 3 cons/events listed above, do drop me a message and let me know! =^_^=

Spring-time (or Fall for some) '14 update for the Snowkitty
Posted 11 years agoHow is it November already? Time just seem to slip past quickly when one is busy, or having fun, or both!
Recent Europe/USA trip recap
Felt like it's been a long time since my month long holiday half way round the world, when it's only been just over a month that I have been back home and work.
Overall it's been an absolute joy catching up with friends I've known for a while, at the same time meeting many for the first time, and ticking off many new places that I've visited along the way: Germany (Berlin), Finland (Toijala, Tempere), The Netherlands (Amsterdam, Valkenswaard), USA (Boston).
Highlight(s) of this trip?
4 hours+ at The Fat Duck easily makes the top of the list. Heston Blumenthal really knows how to impress and change your perception to food and (fine) dining.
The weekend spent in Boston and the few days in Seattle with great company also makes me miss all the awesome friends I have, been so lucky to get to know these people.
Interestingly, the few events I attended throughout the 4 weeks weren't as... great as I thought they'd be/turned out. That's ClubRub (London), EuroFurence (Berlin) and Frolic (San Francisco). Then again, perhaps my initial expectations for them had been skewed. Still enjoyed them, just think they were a bit overhyped... would be the feeling.
Selection of trip photos have been uploaded here on FA already. There's also some that's not entirely appropriate here that's stashed elsewhere on the internet ;)
During EuroFurence:

During my visit to Seattle:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14770666/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14770730/
The final flight tally for this trip: 52084 km (32292 miles) flown, with international long haul segments on Air New Zealand, intra-Europe with SAS and domestic US with United.
Map of the flights: http://tinyurl.com/pj86e8a
List of the distances: http://tinyurl.com/qx46nvx
With that much flying around, strategically with Star Alliance carriers, 2 packages awaits me at home... Gold status with Air NZ airports, achievement unlocked! (http://tinyurl.com/pglsobt)
Now to really reap all the Star Gold benefits in the next year of flying around, and to see if I can requalify and maintain it for next period (2015-2016).
What's planned for the rest of the year (Christmas/New Years)?
More travelling of course! =^_^=
In fact, Christmas will be spent in Japan (never been, first time) while New Years will be in Hong Kong (for all the shopping and feasting). Going to have a 2 week holiday around that time of year. Much excite ahead!
Upcoming convention/event plans
With a recent Air NZ sale, coupled with good healthy amount of Airpoints Dollars in my account (helped by the last big Euro/USA trip), booked my AKL-OOL (Gold Coast, Australia) flight this week... which means Furry Down Under (FurDU) 2015 is pretty much a certainty.
Now just have to register and book a hotel room... and perhaps finding a roommate for the con as well.
That's it for now, and once again, thanks to all the awesome people I met on this past trip, and giving me such a great time.
For those that missed out on hanging out, next time round we meet again, don't be shy to drag this kitty away for more [redacted, too graphic] fun! ;)

Travelling kitty's upcoming Europe/USA tour (EuroFurence!)
Posted 11 years agoOh my, is it August already, where have half of 2014 gone?
As I have mentioned in my last journal post at the start of the year... EuroFurence!
In typical snow-kitty tradition, a general tour/visit on the travel path to a convention is a must! 4 weeks of travel in fact.
For those interested (e.g. plane/travel geeks, for others that can't decode the following, try Google), somewhat final flight plans can be found from my earlier Twitter post (https://twitter.com/SnowSpottycats/.....43352635142144), with possible minor tweaks denoted in (*):
- NZ: AKL-LAX-LHR
- U2: LGW-SXF
- SK: TXL-OSL-HEL
- SK: HEL-CPH-AMS
- NZ/UA: LHR-LAX-BOS
- UA: BOS-ORD
- UA: ORD-SEA (*)
- UA: SEA-SFO (*)
- NZ: SFO-AKL
The list of cities (or greater area) visited will include (in following order, but not limited to):
London (UK), Berlin (Germany), Helsinki (Finland), Amsterdam/Valkenswaard (The Netherlands), Birmingham (tentative, UK), Boston (USA), Chicago (USA), Seattle (USA), San Francisco (USA).
And the events I am definitely going to make it for are:
- LondonFurs Meet (16th August)
- EuroFurence (20th-25th August, the main event!)
- Frolic Party (13th September)
The hardest part of what to pack is of course, which of my character/suits to bring along!
So don't be shy, if you happen to bump into me during the aforementioned events, come up, say hi, snug, drag me away to do more (maybe)! ;)

Time for that yearly update, welcome to 2014.
Posted 11 years agoAnd just like that, another year rolls past!
Had a pretty quiet Christmas period, which was spent mostly at home, which was actually much welcomed after my US trip back in November. And with that in mind, decided to head off into the New Zealand "wilderness" for a somewhat impromptu summer camping trip over the New Year's Eve period, to avoid "civilization".
Hit the following Twitter and Google+ links for a summary of the trip (along with some photos, in chronological order), which lasted 6 days/5 nights from 28th Dec 2013 (Saturday) till 2nd Jan 2014 (Thursday).

This trip made me appreciate the great outdoors that this country I live in have to offer... might just have to go camping again this year.
So, what lays ahead for 2014?
Will be making my way over to the Gold Coast for Furry Down Under (FurDU) again at end of March, seeing as the flight was paid for with Airpoints means a relatively economical weekend away.
Other than that, seriously considering EuroFurence in late August, along with a general Euro trip for a month... all depends on how my finances look and if I get leave from work during that period.
On the fursuit/cosplay front, got a few things currently in the works, and photos will be uploaded here and everywhere else once they're done/ready! ^_^
Hope everyone had a good holiday break in the past week(s) for those that did.

My thanks to those I met up in the USA (& MFF) last month
Posted 12 years agoI will keep this short, seeing as if I start going, it'll be a novel before Iong.
Just want to say a big thank you to those of you who I've met up during my 3 week holiday in the U.S.A..
While I'm still in the process of comprehending and taking in all that I've seen and done (along with the range of emotions I've experienced), the overall general feeling is a very pleasant and positive one. Thanks for making my trip a good one.
I'd want to specifically thank those that have allowed this kitty to stay and hosted me while I travelled around (you know who you all are!).
It was great to also have caught up with old friends, meeting new faces that I have been only chatting online with for the past 5 years, and completely new folks.
And those of you who I might have (briefly) met during MFF (Midwest FurFest), I might have forgotten your name(s) already, but don't hesitate to send me a message and say hi to refresh my memory.
This trip has also given me a lot of new perspective, and a lot for me to think about.
So once again, thank you, and until next time...

Seems like mostly everyone here in the States is using it, that and need to keep in touch with all the folks I'm visiting, oh and all the happenings for MFF, which is rolling around quick... less than a week to go.
Just over a week / 1/3rd of the way into my holiday, and I am having way too much fun. I am definitely glad to have decided to stay here in Seattle for a week....
That's it for now, more to come...

Kitty invasion of the States (US)
Posted 12 years agoA certain silver kitty has now invaded North America! ^_^
Landed in Chicago safely last night, and already having fun!
Seeing as roaming is rather expensive, I have gotten myself a local SIM on a 30-day pay-as-you-go plan. Should you want to stay in touch with me, the number is:
+1 312 543 4828 (International format)
Or simply: 312 543 4828
Hope will bump into a few of you when I am travelling around!
(Seeing as this is a temporary number and I have unlimited Voice calls and unlimited TXTs to even 100 countries as well as national, don't really care that I am publishing it "publicly", as it will essentially be disconnected at the end of this month)

(Seeing as this is a temporary number and I have unlimited Voice calls and unlimited TXTs to even 100 countries as well as national, don't really care that I am publishing it "publicly", as it will essentially be disconnected at the end of this month)
Upcoming U.S. visit (MFF!) for next month (November 2013)
Posted 12 years agoA few months ago, a certain kitty was planning for a long overdue overseas holiday to the States (see my previous entry: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4757776/). Well, plans have changed and now, I will be making the trip much sooner, next month during November in fact!
Travelling before Christmas turned out to be cheaper than my original 2014 winter visit, so much that my international long-haul segment + all the internal domestic legs combined still comes out cheaper, than just flying into SFO alone in January/February.
It's also a better timing work wise, as the current verification cycle for this major GA software release is due to finish just a week before I fly... so my boss was happy to move my leave request up by 2 months, and I can be around for the next project(s) at the start of next year.
Which means instead of Further Confusion, I'd be hitting up Midwest FurFest this year.
I have already spoken to a few (you know who you are), and the various areas/cities that I am planning to visit have pretty much been decided. Having said that, my schedule is still pretty flexible at this stage, so don't hesitate to PM/e-mail me if you want to arrange a visit or meet-up!
So, where would this kitty (or gazelle) be next month in November?
-> 8th - 12th: Chicago area
-> 13th - 18th: Seattle/Washington State area, seems like there are just a TON of fun people and old friends living up there to warrant a week long stay
-> 19th - 20th: Tampa, Florida
-> 21st - 24th: Chicago for MFF (Midwest Furfest: http://www.furfest.org/)
-> 25th - 30th: San Francisco Bay Area, again, tons of old friends and new people I'd want to catch up/visit
Hopefully 3 weeks is enough time for me to cram as much unadulterated fun as possible!
I haven't been to a proper, big (as in >500 attendee) convention since 2009 (4.5 years now), so if you see me in one of my suits, definitely don't be shy, come up and say hello, better yet, give me snuggles!
Now the hard part is, which of my suits and gear to pack! Perhaps people reading this might be able to help ;)
Also, I really should get some character badges/name cards made... anyone got a good (reliable) artist in mind that they could point me towards? Mainly after something tooney/cute-ish (not chibi/cub though).

Wintery mid-year update for 2013, and upcoming travels/cons
Posted 12 years agoThe temperature really dropped in the past week down here in New Zealand, with the winter solstice (shortest day of the year) tomorrow (Friday 21st June), Winter is well and truly with a certain silver snow kitty.
Work had consumed most of my energy so far this year, and this release is finally ready to be signed off tomorrow after what seems like an eternity in QA cycle. It's pretty much a routine of: wake up and head to work by 7am, heading home at 4pm, cooking/eating dinner, general house chores and tidy up, and then to bed. Weekends became something to really look forward to, and seized the chance to travel around whenever I could.
Where I've been so far this year
Furry Down Under (FurDU) in April was such a blast, as it had been 2.5 years since my last "proper furry convention" (FurcoNZ doesn't count for various reasons). It was a joy to catch up with a few old friends, and make some cool new ones. I loved the way it was run, the venue/hotel definitely rates above average from all the cons/events I've been to... for the registration fee, definitely gives you good value for money, If it's being held roughly in the same time-frame next year (Easter/ANZAC weekend), there's a very high chance you'll see me there again.
I unleashed Leela the Snow Spottycat and Bazelle the little horny Gazelle for FurDU, unfortunately I didn't get anyone in particular to be my handler/photographer and it's a shame I didn't get as many photos as I could. Photos from paw could be seen here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10499401/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10499424/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10499464/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10506928/
Leela was also seen in a skimpy black one-piece swimsuit, way-short shorts and a tight Kiwi-themed T-shirt, and full-on purple latex bodysuit with corset and black mini-skirt... hopefully someone will have gotten photos for those.
In the beginning of June, I headed down to Wellington to visit some friends, and another excuse to dress up and headed over to Armageddon expo (our local local Sci-Fi/Anime/Comic Con/Expo).
On Sunday I put on way-tight spandex and Black Spidey-ed around:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10752124/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10752181/
While on Monday, I thought a full-on skin tight "Femme-Fatale" latex outfit would turn some heads... and did I managed to make a ton of boys (and some girls) drool, even got a few wanting to feel me up! ^_^

Upcoming plans
RivFur! (August in Brisbane, Australia). Pretty much decided after FurDU that I'd want to give another "smaller close-by" convention a try. It's their first year as a proper full-on furry con, so it'll be interesting to see how things are run.
Already gotten my plane tickets (courtesy of an AirNZ sale with very good fares, partially the reason why I'm going) and con registration paid for and sorted out, and right now trying to nail down accommodation... speaking of which...
IF you are an Aussie fur reading this and also going to RivFur, wouldn't mind sharing a room with a Kiwi (me) for the weekend (Friday - Monday) in the main hotel (Mercure), please send me a message or e-mail!
Right now I have 2 potential leads, but wanting to see if I can get other options before making a final decision.
And finally, I am looking to a potential holiday to North Americaat the start of next year (2014). It's just been over 4 years since I last visited (flew out near the end of February 2009). By the start of next year, it'll be 5 years. Now that my job has fully settled in and reaching the 1 year mark, and with my financial situation looking much better compared with a year ago, I think it's time for a re-visit, for old-friends, and new ones I've talked to since.
In fact, I got leave approved from work alreadyfrom Mid-January till 2nd weekend of February, 2014.
What prompted the above, was a notification from FC (Further Confusion) about room-block booking opening (well that was a month or so ago now). A few have told me FC wasn't like what it used to be since the days of the SJ DoubleTree (in fact FC 2009 was my last and also the last year there), however, it's always been the people and company that make (or break) a con/event for me.
In the past I have always stayed behind for a week or 2 to visit the locals, in this case, those that lives in California/close by, or "in the path" of where I will be heading, with the pre-requisite being that you don't mind a houseguest for a day or 2, or longer even. I would love to do a 2nd event too if it's within the 2-3 week window of my visit. Elliott's Winter Carnival seems to be grabbing my attention, as it was held on the following weekend after FC this year (2013). That and I haven't been to Florida before.
Travelling between New Zealand and North America isn't cheap at all, and if I am to fly 13 hours there and back, I need to make sure I damn well enjoy every second of it and overly indulge myself. Also explains why I need to start planning now in advance (and managing to secure leave/time-off from work this early on to kick things off). So if you a keen to have/able to host a visitor from down-under, drop me a message or e-mail as well!
Edit: Well, plans have changed... slightly. I am still going to plan for a North America visit along with attending a major convention, just not FC and in the aforementioned time-frame. I'll post an update once more things are confirmed... but exicting times ahead!
That's all the updates for now! I should go snuggle up with one of my cats for warmth... or put on one of my fursuits! :D

Well, we all survived the "2012 apocolypse" it seems...
Posted 12 years ago... unless the Mayans were right all along, and we are all in some sort of post-apocolyptic dream state.
2012 ended up taking a few twists and interesting turns for me, the most major thing being: finding my first, stable, professional job since leaving University at the start of the year. Been half a year now actually, and overall I enjoyed working there, with quite a few opportunities ahead.
FurcoNZ 2012 flew past like a blur... I wasn't supposed to be really working this one, let alone (co-)leading and organizing. From my perspective, it was really organized within a week, but with 3 years or prior experience, and a few dependable staff members, it went like clockwork. Once again I aimed high for the food (FurcoNZ is a fully catered event) and we (= myself and one other person) managed to pull it off... proves that we don't need a certain Bunny-chef afterall XD (I'm kidding, <3 you Thipher, we missed you in the kitchen, so come back soon!).
I got 3 weeks off the Christmas/New Year's period (seeing as work owed me for overtime during the year), so right now I am in chilly Hong Kong (Tiggies/Snow Spottycats love the cold more than hot, humid Auckland NZ afterall)!
It's been great so far, trying to visit as many Michelin-starred and rated restaurant as possible (visited 2 so far: https://plus.google.com/u/0/1109821.....ts/gptsexWMAM8 and https://plus.google.com/u/0/1109821.....ts/DGbc7u1eD5M), along with ALL THE SHOPPING that one can handle (already got myself a Christmas present: https://plus.google.com/u/0/1109821.....ts/Qad2FaZebu2).
Follow my posts on G+ if you haven't already done so: https://plus.google.com/110982130847737620428 for all the adventures around Hong Kong. Will be heading off to Beijing, China (for 5 days) and Macau (overnight) this coming weekend, so that'll be fun for sure.
Wish all of you had a good Christmas and New Year's holiday and all the best to 2013.

Happy (Chinese) New Years! Along with a few recent updates.
Posted 13 years agoSeeing as this Tiggy/Snow Spottycat (I suppose you can add a Gazelle and a Zebra pony to the mix too) is quite asian, I wish everyone a good start to the Year of the Dragon this year.
With the recent (well, recent being back late September 2011, so 4 months now) replacement of dying phone (2.5 year old Sony Ericsson Xperia X1) with a shiny new one (Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro), and switching/jumping into the Android eco-system, I've started blogging rather actively on Google+, as a lot of Google services/accounts are nicely integrated and consolidated into one place.
So, if you have Google+, feel free to follow and add me on there: Kamadan Uncia; I used my Snow Leopard characters and themed it as such on there.
(If the above link doesn't work, try searching for "Kamadan Uncia" or "Leela Uncia")
Moving on...
FurcoNZ was done and dusted for the 3rd time (as lead organizer/con-chair). As usual, lots of stress and logistical nightmares, but largely went without any major issues. The numbers went down for 2011 compared to 2010, however in the end we still have roughly 50-55 throughout the weekend, and in fact for those that have attended since 2007, commented that FurcoNZ 2011 was by far, the most relaxed, friendly, hassle/drama-free FurcoNZ we've had. This was echoed by the staff and volunteer team, and my security lead and website admin (the de-facto 2nd in command) reinforced that "we want quality, not quantity", and without going into specifics the absence of a fair few this year certainly helped a lot (and apparently no one missed them, at least that's what my staff and a fair few attendees have told me).
I also managed to lead and ran 2 panels this year (something we introduced this year, as we move forward with how FurcoNZ is going to be run)... and considering that public speaking is definately NOT my strong point, I was quite pleased at how it turned out. Meal service this year was also something I am really pleased about, for the sponsors we managed to serve a full 3 course dinner for all 3 nights.
For this year, I let Leela the Snow Spottycat and the Gazelle out and about, which I have already uploaded photos of:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7072003/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7072027/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7072039/
Christmas and New Years were quite subdued for me, although again, I did bring the Snow Spottycat out to a party or two:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7083967/

Plans for this year... well, I need to work-out heck of a lot more to get my... figure back. Aim is to lose around 10kg-15kg over the next few months to get back on track. Need to get back on my bike and need to get into proper swimming (so I can wear my tight shiny Triathlon gear/wetsuits and be all sexy working out in gear), with the aim being that I can properly model for some full body-painting sessions.
We might also see a new Zebra pony character to debut sometime this year (if everything goes to plan)!

And as the year draws to a close...
Posted 14 years agoAnd just like clockwork, it's fast approaching the end of the year. Everywhere I walk around, can certainly feel that "Christmas atmosphere" (well, with most retail shops having already started their Christmas promotion/rush/sales since early/mid October).
For Halloween this year, decided to go to the Fetish Ball and this year's theme was "Seven deadly sins". The atmosphere and shows were quite amazing, and an equal amount of amazing costumes/outfits... however I was still the only one in a "fursuit". Still a tad disappointed that I didn't end up getting nominated for best costume for the night (there were 7 spots up for nominations from which 3 were picked). For those of you that haven't seen them already, here's what I wore:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6782443

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6818360
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6818366
Looking ahead, there are a few projects/"things" that I need to get onto completing or organizing in the coming weeks which I really need to get inspired/motivated into doing. Otherwise, hoping for a relatively quiet and peaceful Christmas and New Years actually, too many things and events that happened this year which I would rather forget about completely, and a few main things I really need to make a decision in my head and deal with too.
Until next time...

Of things, events, people... an entry for this new year.
Posted 14 years agoFirst off, I'd like to wish a (much) belated Happy New Years to all that still follow my FA profile, and a Happy Chinese New Year's even (as of right now, today would be the 5th day of the Chinese/Lunar New Year). Out goes the year of the Tiggy *sad_tiggy_face.jpg*, and in comes the year of the Bunny (still wish it's Tiggy year),
Also, thank you for all the new watchers and +favs for the past few months, and hope you liked the photos I have on here.
What has happened since? You can say, not a whole lot... in fact, the more things change, the more it seems to stay the same. Still having bad dreams, simply unable to sleep at night (or morning), and still completely un-motivated with anything and everything. "Time will heal wounds"... well, I suppose time is all relative. For me at least, the hurt and emotions just keep coming up in waves stronger, and stronger. I will never forget and I certainly am not ready to forgive whatever happened, and distractions are merely that... distractions. That's something for me to deal with and I forsee that it'll consume me in not a good way.
People might also noticed my online presence... or lack thereof. I have pruned a whole heap of my contacts (IMs, phone etc.) and actually kept away from "online" for most days. The best way to catch my attention is still to (voice) call my mobile phone, or physcially meet up with me. The above paragraph sums up such a lack of presence.
Anyhow, I'll save those thoughts for another day.
FurcoNZ 2010 has came, and gone, and I hoped everyone enjoyed their time there. From my perspective, it was a "down-to-business" meet/con for me, as I seem to be constantly pre-occupied with handling... everything. I was disappointed with various matters, the "art/badge/con-book" incident for one, and a very forgettable Saturday night filled with drama and kicking out one person which, no words can describe the sheer mixed, raw emotions that I felt. I really have to thank the entire staff team, and especially to
Kaltezar (the security lead for FurcoNZ) for NOT walking out on us that night.
I went to MiDFur 2010, and my opinion is quite mixed. I loved Melbourne as a city and the awesome foods and places it has, and the people I was with (to enjoy said Beer, and Food). However, seeing as MiDFur happened the weekend BEFORE FurcoNZ, it meant that I actually had to deal with "work" while there... receiving a phone call at 7:00am from the lodge site that your event/meet/con is going to be the following weekend, ducking into the bathroom and trying to sort various stuffs out over a (rather expensive incoming roaming) call for 15 minutes certainly didn't help.
That aside, hopefully hogged BBF (BigBlueFox, MiDFur 2010's Guest of Honor)'s camera enough during the con and parade that my Tiggy-Suit-Face will appear in the final cut... hopefully! (I have hogged BBF's camera in past cons such as FC, however I somehow always ended up having just 5 seconds of airtime over a 2+ hour cut)
New Year's Eve was also a mixed bag. I decided to host a "small" party as for the past... 5+ years haven't really done anything on that day/night and well, up until midnight certain people showed up (despite clearly conveyed that they were not that welcomed, to put it kindly), but I suppose etiquette these days are lost on the younger (internet) generation. However I vented my frustrations out towards... SingStar until 3am.
And recently, I also threw a party for Chinese New Years. Watching the annual fireworks display from Hong Kong kinda reminded me what I missed about the city where I was from... vibrant, loud with a bang, just filled with so much flair and extravagance. Afterwards, Tiggy with dress and heels made an appearance for a new toy I got... SingStar Dance (to be accurate, it's the PlayStation Move kit that was the new toy). It was oddly addictive and actually really fun, not sure about those who sat behind me and saw my Tiggy butt wiggling and moving about though... and once again, danced and sung till at least 3:30am.
So, what are this Tiggy's plans for this year?
Paying off the (somewhat huge) debt that I accumulated is still the top priority, and I have been doing well in the past year or so to keep it in check.
Finally finishing my degree (Bachelor of Engineering Technology, Networks and Communications major), which has took me long enough, last year was supposed to be my final year until... that one unfortunate event happened with me.
FurcoNZ 2011 is a definate go and with the experience of the past 2 years, and the (at of this moment) full support of the staff team that we have assembled, should hopefully make this much smoother running than 2010.
Getting some of my planned projects going - some of which very much involve fursuits/suiting/"furry crap", and some of which are even more bizzare and interesting. But of course, we shall see by the end of this year how many of those are actually accomplished.
Getting better at SingStar + Dance. Yes, I am sure a whole heap of you just threw a look of "disgust" when I mentioned that... but it is oddly addictive. Plus, when you're doing it in fursuit + heels + dancing to SingStar... it's just epic!
And perhaps most important of all, find some motivation and get myself to a better head-space... which might mean some really, really painful and difficult choices.
... until next time.

Spring time is rolling around, the time of renewal perhapes?
Posted 15 years agoThis year has been rather long for me, yet it seems time flew past in the blink of an eye... the temperature is quickly warming up and Spring time is set right in, with Summer just around the corner in another month's time (as I live in New Zealand, we get inverted seasons compared to those in the Northern Hemisphere, in case some of you might be puzzled with "Spring? Summer? really?").
For those that have been following my journals entries, well, things haven't really changed much in terms of how I have been feeling, in fact over the past few weeks, I get to see a lot more of people's "true self" through the various... social interactions (or some prefer to call it "drama") of the local community here. I am slowly dealing with those that need to be dealt with and that does get to me on a few levels, and perhaps effect the way I have been treating others... anyhow... I will save that rant for another day.
So, a friend recently visited from out of town for a while, and I took, well, more "seized" that chance to just do nothing else but hang out and have some complete, un-adulterated "me" time for about a week. During which we did reflect upon many things (that friend also went through a very rough patch similar to mine recently as well), and made me rethink a lot of things. Perhaps it is time for complete renewal, rebirth, throwing away the old and forging a new path. There are still many, many things that I would like to accomplish and do, and perhapes the proverbial "old package" is still somewhat there as a drag, that I should really just give up on a few matters (things and people) moving forward.
I have made a few new submissions today, which I suppose are snapshots of things I love doing and the (very rare) good times that I had so far this year in 2010.
One of which is having "High Tea" up on the Sky Tower - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4805950/
The view was simply amazing, nothing like sitting high up (190m / ~623 feet) above a city and having afternoon tea with good company. In fact, I have grown quite fond of the restaurant there (Orbit) and I am sure I'll revisit there again.
While my friend's up visiting, seeing as he rode quite the sexy little sports-bike, I thought that might be the chance for me to do some interesting late-night photography in some of the... "gears" that I have...

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4806221/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4806309/
A mix of... I suppose fetish, bondage, fantasy, Sci-Fi... well, afterall I am dressed in a rediculously skin-tight full body Latex rubber catsuit with a black motorcycle helmet and black leather bondage/punk boots.
Perhapes I was slightly inspired by all the Sci-Fi/Fantasy anime/comic/movies too with the poses (Trinity in "The Matrix" with her black catsuit and Ducati bike is a good example)... well, I hope I managed to somehow pull those poses off without revealing how fat and out-of-shape I am! XD
There are still photos from the Halloween party I've attended to sort, touch-up and upload. Hopefully those will be done sooner rather than later.
Right now, I am in the middle of needing to get my Tiggy-butt into gear and organize/sort out the various aspects of FurcoNZ this year (http://www.furconz.org.nz). And I just hope this year will be better and less chaotic than last year... (and for those that haven't really been following my journals, FurcoNZ is this annual New Zealand furry "con"/gathering/meet that I have been "head of"/lead organizer since last year), that and hopefully I can rely upon/delegate more tasks out to the official staff for this year.
Well, I will be taking the weekend off before FurcoNZ 2010 this year and have some "me" time again and I am actually quietly exicted and looking forward to what I have planned. That should also help keep the sanity level in check... hopefully!
Until next time...

... and apparently this is still on.
Posted 15 years agoI suppose I should use this journal feature more often, along with the usual place where I post my journals... and has it been over half a month already since my last post? Times does fly past very, very quickly it seems.
Once again, thank you for all the new watchers and new fav's since. I am quite surprised that somehow, with over 4 months of stagnation (I think that's the last time I actually uploaded something), people still stumble in here... I thank you all very much.
Life has been more or less stagnant for me as well, and that would be putting it very mildly. Still have chronic insomnia, and as of late recurring "bad" dreams. Not nightmares, more my mind playing... tricks with me and letting me know how unhappy I really am with past and current events.
Of the very few social interactions that I am having, be it "In Real Life" or the very rare, occational message online, the usual "how are you doing?" is usually the opening line... with which I usually, typically reply back "so-so" or "alright". I mean, surely "how are you doing?" is now one of those rhetorical questions with a bog-standard reply. Because, do I really want to say "no, really, I am not alright, I am utterly miserable"?
I suppose at the end of the day, like everyone else I just want to... "fit-in" or that sense of belonging somewhere. I have actually forced myself to go out and try to "socialize and hang out with people" as of late, in fact, just tonight I went to one of the bigger gathering/party locally. But, after 2 hours there, my brain was just yelling out "get the heck out of there". I simply didn't feel I belong there, and just couldn't bare to stand seeing... certain someone with someone there.
"Friends". I wonder more and more about what it means... I am sick of the "occational, conveninent for me" friendship. I suppose I have been distancing myself from a few who might genuinely be caring, however their actions says otherwise, at least to my... "weird and impossible standards". And as I have already said last time, you CAN choose to do something about it, but we are all too afraid to offend or hurt others because it might be an unpopular choice, and certainly, I think some of the choices I have been making are hurting others, but most importantly hurting myself too.
I thought I have always been a nice person, who would absolutely give my all and my best to the person/people who I cared about. Unfortunately, it seems that nice people just get used and gets nowhere... but I digress...
On a completely different (and less, depressing) note, I suppose there are still a lot things, "Furry"/costume wise that I want to get/achieve. Alas, it seems like such, a distant dream now. I know, if you put your mind to it and try to achieve it, then you will eventually get to it right? But right now, it's simply out of my reach (due to financial and maybe logistical reasons)... anyways, I thought I should actually see how "un-reachable" they are by listing them out:
- Rubber/Latex Zebra full suit - I always have a thing for stripes and one of the earliest "fur"suit that caught my eye was this guy in a full-on spandex zebra suit... add to that the whole "transformation" aspect and so, rubber/latex it is. Full prosthetic mask/face and hooves too on the feet. Knowing the limited amount of people/places that can satisfactorily complete such a commission, I'd be looking at saving at least close to NZ$10000 for one... and in the realms of "RL" this becomes a low priority.
- Rubber/Latex Snow-Leopardess full suit - yes, a female suit, because let's face it, females get that much more attention, and I really want to see if I can pull it off.
- More full-on body-painting, again, a full-body Zebra with the "bells and whistles", and a properly done Snow-Leopard too. Then again, this involves someone else able to do the painting on me so, might be really, really hard to achieve.
I would also like to be able to make FC'2011... or just another long holiday again, and I am working hard to try to make that happen, however, my debt reduction isn't going anywhere and I really should clear all the existing debt first before getting myself deeper in that hole... because I should be responsible, right?
Until next time...

Is this thing still on?
Posted 15 years agoWhere to begin...
First off, thanks to all the people that have recently friended me and/or fav'ed the photos that I have.
Secondly, I would say updates will continue to be erratic, at best, but thanks for those that still watches me.
I suppose I have never envisioned using this (the Journal system/thing on FA) for any of my more personal rantings, but I know a fair few of you have been wondering how I have been, or wondering "so what has this Tiggy been up to". So maybe it is easier to use this to push a semi-impromptu update as this site is one (of a few) that a few people I know checks/uses.
I am in a complete and utter mess and wreck emotionally and to a certain extent, financially and that has transferred over to physically as well over time. This has pretty much been the case since the start of the year, just that I never really showed it much (if at all) to anyone else. Perhapes it's a good thing for all those around me seeing as all I hear is "ohnoes I don't want drama go away" kinda thing.
Some of you might already know what I mean/have been going through. For everyone else, I don't have the energy right now to even want to explain, nor want to dig deeper into my brain. Maybe I might explain further in the distant future, but for now, my parting thoughts are these...
People do and can pretty much get away with doing anything without any consequences.
And everyone, ultimately, are pretty much dispensable and replaceable.
The more I take a step back and look around and observe, the more a few things become much clearer in my mind. I think I have inadvertantly built up an invisible wall of sorts over the past 2-3 years since that I forgot to think and look outside the box only until very recently. And at the end of the day, action outweighs anything.
"Friendship" is such a loosely termed word these days that even accepting a "friend request" suffice as, being friends with each other. I look around me these days and felt even more alone than before, despite the fact that I might know a lot more people now than a few years ago,
At the end of the day, I think it's all too easy to say "I am sorry" or "I really regretted doing this" or "I wish there is something that could be done". Because ultimately the choice and decision is always there. We are just all too afraid to make that choice/decision, and actually, DO something, anything, about it.
"Avoiding drama" is overrated, and being "neutral and trying to be friends with everyone and not to offend" or "I will not choose one or the other" is such a load of bollocks. I believe that's a complete cop-out of you having to actually take a stand on anything.
Just keep telling yourself that you are right and justify what you did was right, and you were not to blame. Because once again, people will always, look out for themselves only first and foremost. At least that's what I have learned, and observed from the actions of others, and myself, for the past while.
I suppose the bitter pill for me to swallow is that at least, I have given it all, emotionally and finanacially for a lot of things and people and really, well... I won't say any more.
Thanks and that's it for now. I am exhausted and so I shall attempt to go to sleep, even though I have pretty much developed chronic insomnia for the past few months, I wouldn't be able to sleep and if I do, it'll be lucky if I manage to get any actual rest. And before anyone suggest going to see a doctor or suggest certain remedies, thank you in advance but I'll save you from telling me that.

So, what's this AUP that I failed to read and adhere to?
Posted 16 years agoHeya there! I figured that since 6 months has past, its about time I post something on here.
So, after an awesome party last night, I woke up, turned my computer on and did my usual morning routines, opened up the web browser and let everything load up.
Then I'm greeted by this lovely message on here:
"This image has been removed becuase it violates the AUP"
"You are not allowed to post pictures of Sex toys."
4 of the photos that I've uploaded and have been up for 5 days were removed this morning because, apparently, they weren't "acceptable" enough.
For those of you who had no idea what I'm talking about, here they are over on my GearFetish page:
http://tinyurl.com/mslg7n
http://tinyurl.com/mrlrkw
http://tinyurl.com/lm7nwc
http://tinyurl.com/ml7k69
I guess I'm both amused, and annoyed.
There are a lack of good, nice, and shall we say... "tasteful" photos of fursuiters in fursuit doing something interesting instead of your now-almost-generic cute poses. Well, I tend to do something about it so I thought I'd share them with everyone else on here. And judging from the amount of fav's and comments, I'm sure everyone loved them.
But apparently, even putting these photos under an "Adult filter" isn't enough. Nope, they aren't "acceptable" to furries here at all (well, one would assume FurAffinity is mainly for and filled with furs).
To quote some of what my friends have said:
"It's silly...compared to some of the highly highly messed up and graphic stuff that gets posted."
"you can have babyfur sex on FA, but not implied fursuit sex"
So, unadultered art porn is ok, but someone in fursuit/costume NOT even showing naughty bits/parts (the sheath on the suit isn't out) isn't...? I suppose because photos are of "real life" stuff, a different policy applies where as, artwork isn't, its "works of art", hence... anything goes?
Tiggy tried to apply some common sense logic there with regards to what's really "horrible and too adult and unacceptable", and failed at the furry fandom and internets. XD
Well, I guess I'll be (re-)uploading the photos once I've "edited out the offending parts" and have to be more careful in the future. So... remember to re-fav and re-comment on them! ;)
P.S. Anyone wants to do some adult-art version of the photos I linked up earlier? Or just some naughty bondagey Tiggy arts? Coz arts are OK but actual real life photos version aren't!
P.P.S. But yeah, would anyone like to fan-art a Tiggy? ^_^ He's welcomed to photo requests and/or suggestions if you need some inspiration!
